Let's see. There was a lot of moaning and shouting in the gym. There was fire crackling. There were people moving rubble to save people. There were people running up and down the hallway. It would be hard to hear it in either of the basements. It is possible to miss some sounds, especially if they are of similar pitch to other sounds around. It could even have been distorted by the other sounds.

That's funny - I haven't really been 'dealing with you' in this thread, or the other - not since you started playing monkeyboy in the gym 'rafters'. All I commented on is the fact that quite a few of us have been writing the effects on our characters - Scolopendra being the most extreme case, and one you've all totally ignored, considering from your posts, his character likely ran past yours and you must have just let him go, right into live fire.

*shrugs* I'm going to either wait for a rough map, or try to make one myself going off previous PD and Ainu posts. You do what you want.

You're the one accentuating REAR in your posts. And REAR is where the already posted and uncontested map of the gym itself shows an exit. Presumably the one people are posting about coming and going through. Which is where Dudley ran out of. You know. Out. Outside. EXIT.

Not that it matters now - retcons are for suckers who don't like where things are going and insist on changing things like facts or happenings to make themselves look or feel better. ;)

Anyways. Point is - READ OTHER PLAYER'S POSTS. Don't just scan. If you don't have time, don't post until you do. Saves yourself, and everyone else, needless hassle and potential bad feelings.

Am done, going to wait for other players to post before posting further ic'ly. Will toss up another rough map here if I can manage to plot one out in the meantime, and see what Ainu and PD have to say about it.

DaWoad i like to point this out to you

Just so it's perfectly clear, Fall, Marcus, and anyone with them are now actively being shot at by soldiers who think they are trying to get to the two tanks parked out front.

Admittedly one has a large chunk of debris sitting on it, but the other is merely dusty.

Have fun.

Oh, and very soon, a full platoon of soldiers is going to be probing the school. Thank Snowy and her megaphone for that one.

Seeya later, folks. :P

Ok. In an effort to help clear things up for people, I've gone back through the threads, and have got IN ORDER details that might help shed some light on things. I'll highlight bits that might interest:

A little background, perhaps, on the totality of this setting: Sandy Bridges University was located in the District of Hibernia, a medium-sized Locality situated almost on the very edge of the Grand Unified Federation of Perimeter Defense. It was a "fair-to-middlin'" campus of about 1,900 acres, with coffee shops, bookstores and electronics and fashion boutiques galore to be found within - as well as gun stores, and your friendly neighborhood armories located under each main building.

The University was divided, sectorally, into the Primary School, the Secondary School, and the Professional Schools which generally meant the college campuses. Bridging the Pro Schools and the Sec School was a large dormitory compound, but with the proximity of the school to the residential areas of Hibernia, these living areas were sparsely populated. There was also an unofficial area that many people called "The Mall," both as a reference to the large park along downtown D.C. (whose layout (http://iguide.travel/illustrations/Washington-2C_D.C.-8.png) it shared) (http://es.epa.gov/ncer/p3/images/mall_map2.jpg) and as a literal description of the density of commercial stores within it

for with the rotation of the buffet table coincided the rotation of the guards outside, and the 6pm shift comprised members of the football team, armed with rubbershot M1014's and nerves of steel. On the balcony were the "Beanbag girls," senior cheerleader chicks who'd be admired and ogled at if not for the beanbag shooters they carried.

Giant speakers and monitors were spread out across one of the lengthwise walls, and at the center was a stage where the emcees, commentators, awards and the occasional band would be present.

Gun blazing, four more of the attackers wove through the central business district, armor piercing ammunition tearing great gashes open in glass and steel skyscrapers, more or less empty at this hour. Then the sonic wake of their passage finished the job, shattering most of the glass into a lethal cascade for anyone unfortunate enough to be wandering the streets tens of stories below

The last of the sections roared in over the three square miles that made up Sandy Bridges University. The problem with universities in general, and Perimeter Defense in particular is that they tend to have a large number of relatively fit, young people close together that know each other very well. Additionally, the buildings tend to be old and stone, and therefore resistant to small arms fire. The people living in them tend to be loosely organized by internal affiliations, and tend towards the smart and creative end of the spectrum. Even in places where no everyone owns a personal, military grade firearm, they would be a nightmare to control in street fighting. Scarily enough, in Perimeter Defense, most of them do have such weapons.

That was why Colonel Wood had saved that particular strike for herself and her section. The junior member roared across the campus without much warning, unleashing the most powerful payload carried by the four aircraft, but the smallest in number of shots. The gravity bombs arced downward, spewing finely graded explosive powder into the air for a spilt second before they ignited, turning the air itself into a raging pit of hell. Over the area known as the Mall, where they were dropped, no doubt full of college students at this hour on a Saturday, they went into horrific affect, the pressure wave knocking people over for hundreds of meters, and shattering windows at least as far away. The other three planes screamed in, riding their engine noise at just below the speed of sound to unleash more specific hell. The first waves of smaller missiles tore into the largest dorm buildings, including the one that housed the students of the university associated high school. Five miles to the other side of campus, the aircraft finally hauled back around and laid their courses on the targets they had spotted the first time through.

Colonel Wood calmly squeezed her gun trigger, and the armor piercing rounds shattered the previously well lit roof of the high school gymnasium before plunging earthward to turn the students they struck into finely graded pink mist. The effect of the follow up missile was even more terrifying, though, and no doubt those inside the gym, a mere moment before dancing, thought their lives were over.

And for many, they probably were. The missile struck the front corner of the roof, and fire flashed down the façade of the building, instantly killing the guards and people still trying to crash the party who were knocked down by the moments earlier blast over the Mall. The rest of the explosion ripped into the structure that supported the roof, tearing it free of the building and shredding it into dozens of large pieces and hundreds of smaller ones. Some, carried on the energy of the explosion, flew away, but most of the steel and concrete came tumbling down into the densely packed crowd of students, burning and sharp edged.

Even as the debris was falling to do its lethal work, the strike commander’s last missile tore into the school itself, instantly setting it ablaze on the far side from the gym, rending a large chunk unusable, even if the fire was stopped before it spread to do too much damage.

The last missiles shattered more of the campus, any truly large, covered building with lots of rooms where people might gather and hide.

All around him, soldiers began to hit the ground and opened fire on anyone obviously moving around near the Mall, especially near the larger, now bombed and burning *structure with the tanks parked out front.

* That would be the gym

Somehow, despite the damage the structure they had apparently been guarding, one of the tanks appeared to have no damage what so ever. The steadily approaching thrum of propeller blades beating the air could be heard, bringing with it the awesome firepower of a battalion of airborne troops and their escorting attack helicopters.

Having practice this extensively, Matthew dropped to one knee besides his fire team partner, bringing up his rifle to cover the first building as members of the squad approached it.

In the command tent, the radio crackled to life, and the Captain commanding the company of paratroopers already on the Mall bent closer to listen to the slightly static distorted Finnish coming through it. “We have movement outside the big armory structure. I think they’re moving towards the tanks.”

His brow creased in thought. There was no armory adjacent to the drop zone. Mostly shops, and the university high school. “What building are you near, Sergeant?” he answered, keying the microphone.

“The *large square one, looks like it was hit by a missile.”

* That would be the gym

There was nothing near the Mall except the gymnasium of the school that fit that description. But tanks? That was strange even for Perimeter Defense. “Intercept with extreme prejudice, Sergeant. We can’t let even students into those tanks here, especially not with one of our LAVs knocked out.”

“One appears damaged, sir. Private Jenkins says he can drive a tank, though. Should we attempt to capture the other one? They appear unmanned. Lotta dead uniforms, though.”

There was a reason he was an officer. But he had not become a Captain by ignoring his sergeants when he was a lieutenant. “Do it. Take no chances. Take it out if you can’t capture.”

“Voice from inside the armory. Sounded distorted, PA system or something. Ordering people to get their weapons from the armory.”

The Captain frowned. It was unlikely, but Perimeter Defense did train their students in combat. Perhaps that was a firing range instead of a gymnasium. Either way… “I’m rerouting your second squad, and the first section your way. Get in that building. Take no prisoners, but absolutely don’t let them get armed. We need this area subdued before the rest of the Battalion arrives.”

'Not many' was the conclusion of the Lieutenant commanding the platoon. His best men – designated marksmen and his highest scoring riflemen were covering the obvious egress points from the building, backed up by their squads’ automatic weapons. Additionally, Private Jenkins of the First Squad had cranked the old but reliable captured second line main battle tank to life. Without crew, admittedly, it could not be used to its fullest extent, but it was mobile, its spotlight was active, sweeping back and forth against the walls, and a man was sitting on the turret, ready with the coaxial machine gun, which was heavier than any of the firearms the paratroopers had dropped in with.

Oddly enough, I planned this last night, as I figured the excuse of “I wouldn’t act like this if I had known that” would be the most likely one to be used. A little editing to make it fit the exact situation, and bam, post. I was really hoping I wasn’t going to need to post it, though. Apparently that hope and four dollars will buy me a beer.

I’m going to make this simple, using a sort of bullet point format since some of you don’t like to read or can’t remember what you’ve read, apparently.

2200 Hours

At the bottom of page 24, the attack happens:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14654354&postcount=360

2201 – Distant explosions covered by music (elimination of AA defenses)
2203 – Power grid shut down, lights go out in gym.
2206 – First explosions are heard on campus – FAE detonated over Mall area.
2209 – Small missile strikes School Gym, School Auditorium (opposite gym)

2213 Hours

At the top of page 25, Charles Waterstone wakes up:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14654364&postcount=361

Further people wake up down the page

2214 Hours

At the bottom of page 25, paratroopers land and begin shooting people:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14657484&postcount=373

Paratroopers began to spread out to secure the Mall.

Moments Later

About halfway down page 26, gunfire is heard:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14660924&postcount=381
[Sentient Peoples]

Gunfire heard again in the next post:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14660924&postcount=382
[Perimeter Defense]

2218 Hours

Bottom of page 26, squad of troops advances to near the front of the gym building, opens fire on some people there:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14660924&postcount=383

The rest of a platoon advances on the gym after megaphone is heard
Helicopters heard in distance, coming closer

Moments Later

Page 26, Gunfire is heard again:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14660924&postcount=385
[Aralonia]

Page 27, Gunfire again:

[Free United States]

On page 28, Undefined sounds of fighting are heard:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14668734&postcount=401
[Gehenna Tartarus]

A few minutes later

On Page 28, everyone is informed of the obvious fighting:
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14671133&postcount=407

For two pages, people treat wounded and gather equipment, so some time clearly passes

2230 Hours

12 minutes after troops began to move to surround the gym, Marcus and Lewis go outside on page 30/31.

Lewis Hawk: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14679627&postcount=450
Marcus: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14679627&postcount=451

Troops engage them:

Other Points

I specified in two different posts that the soldiers were going to the buildings and shooting, including right outside the front of the gym.

Unsuppressed battle rifles are loud.

Six different people posted a character hearing gunfire/fighting, including FUS.

The tanks are clearly identified as being in [i]front of the gym, where the missile hit.

The lobby-hallway is clearly identified as being on the back of the gym, so the light from the tank would do little good in illuminating the targets or spotting the tank.

There will be some debris outside the gym, but it was clearly specified as fronting on a large, open, flat area – The Mall – in the first post. Let’s see – large debris chunks would be more likely near the rear of the gym, where the force of the explosion was less. But because of less explosive force, those chunks would be more likely to fall into the gym. You’re right, there will be some cover, some concealment, but you make no reference to attempting to use it. You just walk right out.

We don’t know where Marcus/Hawk emerged from. You never said. They just were outside somehow. THIS IS WHY DETAIL IN YOUR POSTS IS IMPORTANT.
Being a school, there are plenty of ways out of it, but since you failed to specify one, I selected the most obvious – the doors to the gym lobby. Obviously, you weren’t aware of the soldiers’ exact positions outside, but you should have known they were out there. You made no effort at moving out in a stealthy manner or attempting to recon the situation before going out in to it. Therefore, you ought to be surprised by what happens.

I’m not going to say that you die, because that would be godmodding (which the GM, or pseudo-GM with permission, is technically allowed to do in most RPs), but I am going to insist that you read and think.

Also, act with some discretion. You two wandering outside, armed, is what got everyone else strafed by the attack helicopter. You’re not on a solo-TCGR mission here.

Gear Lists

Perimeter Defense:
Don’t know where you got body armor that light. Standard issue military grade armor is more than twice that weight. A more reasonable armor weight and you should be fine. 51 lbs (53 if you want a helmet) is still manageable.

You might want to consider some water or food items as well.

Imperial isa:
Definitely going to have to lose the extra AT-4s. Your gear (exclusive of the cheerleader and extra AT-4s) looks to be around 75-80 lbs. I would say he needs to lose 10-15 lbs of gear. I recommend cutting back to 10 rifle magazines and 6 grenades.

The cheerleader probably weighs somewhere in the realm of 95-115 pounds. You’ll need to carry her or get help carrying her if you want to bring her with you. Carrying her by yourself will get you both dead. Even with help, with all that gear, carrying her will probably get you, her, and your helper dead. If you can give her morphine and make her capable of walking or even possibly running, I’d do so. I’ll pretend that’s possible for the sake of story. Unless you want to write a tearful, soul-jerking scene where Fall is forced to leave her behind.

Again, you might want to consider some food items.

DaWoad:
Depending on exactly how heavy an ‘ASD Combat Pack’ is, you look to be fine on your gear list – somewhere between 60 and 70 lbs of gear, which is about normal. Maybe even straying a bit towards the heavier end of that range, but your posts seem to imply that Lewis is a big guy.

Again, might want to consider food items.

Nathicana:
FN P90 seems to be one of the favored weapons of Natti’s friends in the thread (Miri, Elly). It’s relatively lightweight. 8x50 magazines = 400 rounds of ammunition. Comes to 13 lbs including the gun. P90 goes through ammo kind of quickly, so extra’s good. Armor’s a little heavier than your guess, so it evens out, so it’s good at 55 lbs.

Again, you might want to consider some food.

For reference:
Interceptor (IOTV) Body Armor plus a USMC Lightweight Tactical Helmet is approximately 15 lbs. It is what the US Marines/Army are wearing currently in Iraq/Afghanistan.

Dragon Skin Body Armor, while probably much better than the Interceptor, is also quite a bit heavier (as it is full body instead of just torso), and highly expensive. It also takes longer to put on.

First Strike Combat Ration (3 lbs):

So, gear. They're basically the same on each twin, with a few exceptions.

Body armour vest, with pouches and stuff, along with a tactical helmet
P90 for Elly, XM8 carbine with grenade attachment, HK USP tactical handguns
ammo for each (say, ten main mags for Elly, eight for Scarlett, four mags for pistols each)
short range tac radios
boots, gloves, holster belt, camelback and backpack
bunch of ration/meal supplement bars
small personal med kit (bandages, gauze, iodine and maybe a morpha one-shot or two)
a good solid maglite-style flashlight each, with a backup battery
a pair of signal flares each
their matched pairs of elven swords (similar in size to a typical katana, quite light overall)
self-contained gas masks

Elly has a simple magnetic compass
Scarlett has about a bandolier's worth of explosive grenades for her launcher, however many that may be. She also has four tear gas canisters in her backpack.

Anything I missed? Reasonable? Over the top?

FINAL POST FOR EQ

Roughly 10 lbs of med supplies such as thus. (http://www.afmo.com/Adventure_Medical_Mountain_Medic_II_0100_0502_p/210-00065.htm) Likely stuffed into her backpack.
Something like this (http://www.bulletproofme.com/TACTICAL_Body_Armor.shtml#Blackhawk-Vest) as best I can figure for some body armor. 12lbs
Something like this (http://www.blackarmor.com/Vest/Helmet.htm) for her head if available - another 3.5lbs.
Camelback, approx 3L so another 6.5lbs
EDIT: FN P90 8x50 magazines = 400 rounds of ammunition - 13lbs.
9lbs - 3 days - of the First Strike type rations.

Again, might want to consider food items.

two points
1) exit/ entances etc. I was originally under the impression that there would be holes in the gym for egress entrance etc. but with (someones sorry not sure who) map it became clear that waqlls were intact etc. at that point I had assumed that people would just interpret my original post as having Hawk exit out the back rather than through the non-existant hole in the wall.
this was entirely my fault. Sorry for the confusion. um as to the tank you stated it was "patrolling" and with a spotlight too.

2) the pack is just a bag to carry ammo in etc. food supplies would be limited too MREs in the bottom of the pack if at all (this is just clarifying)

also thank you for the timeline and also for other ooc stuff. Again to the tank it was clearly stated that it was patrolling around the building with a guy on the Coax. a couple of things im not sure on. the straffing was aimed at the door towards the third wall? (just to clairfy). And knowing there's only one pont of egress is your whole platoon situated there now or what?

Things to do with Hawk
-He's been shot at but hasn't actually returned fire yet
-when he does its gonna give his position away (obviously) but he's under cover, not alot but . . .
-he's situated just to the left of the rear door but might as well be cut off from it. (trying to move back into the hall would result in pain . . .probably terminal pain lol)

Marcus
-is still in the hall (at least acroding to my post, hope you don't mind FUS)
-just opened fire
-shouldn't have been taken under fire yet (that'll change with And's next post I'd assume.)

just realized, i sorta inserted marcus' brother as an npc...would foreign nationals be exempt from the invader's attack...? or...do we just not touch on this subject?

(fyi, depending on the number of us...we could all fit on the Vogel they have...)

The consulate area of the city (a city the size of Hibernia would have one) would be exempt from attack. Foreign nationals not inside their consulates are in no way safe, though. Vehicles moving about would be prime targets, anything airborne especially so.

From what I can tell, there are roughly 15-20 NPC student survivors, plus the player characters.

We're thirty one minutes into the surprise attack as of my last IC post. Not all of the cruise missiles I launched will have even hit their targets yet. The PD military is probably still waking up and trying to recall people who were on weekend liberty passes. I'm sure the standby patrol fighters and such are getting airborne, but that's probably about it.

I would imagine for the PD military to intervene in any meaningful way will take hours, if not a day. A military just can't be kept on a constant state of full alert, after all.

FUS: Bringing a civilian aerospace asset into an active warzone is a very, very good way to end up very, very dead, very, very quickly.

I'm kind of guessing when they get to safety, it will be the end of the story. So, whether they head off in the Vogel or stay put is more for the 'this is how it ends for my character' post.

If the idea is for the Vogel to go in and rescue them, then I would have to say...no. Because where is the fun in that? (Along with countless other reasons that I can't be bothered to list right now).

DaWoad: NO.

1) A frag grenade going off that close to unprotected, unarmored body parts would've turned them into chile con carne. OOC, that grenade was purposely thrown in such a way as that he could duck. The soldiers are all looking away purposely so Hawk can run. Obviously, ICly, the soldiers messed up a little bit. There's no way he'd get out of there otherwise, at least, not without a black plastic-cloth wrapper. Hawk's head is less than three feet from that explosion if he's looking out from cover - he'd possibly catch on fire, assuming he wasn't torn to pieces. Lethal radius on an M67 should be around 5-15 feet for an unarmored subject not behind cover with an uncontained explosion. Hawk's head and hands would meet that qualification.

2) Assuming Hawk immediately moved into the school after the grenade went off, Sentient Peoples' Charles should still be waiting there. He described Charles as giving Hawk about thirty seconds to get inside. If Hawk took longer, he would undoubtedly be able to hear them moving down the hallway. If he took a lot longer, he would have no idea where they went. It's a high school. There's probably two dozen exits, of which the library fire door is very low on the obviousness list unless you're aware of the plan to head to the university hospital - which Hawk isn't, having never been around when it was discussed.

3) Have you ever had a dislocated shoulder? While I know it is in theory possible to pop it back in yourself, it's also the most painful experience I've ever had - and I'm including both a broken wrist and a leg broken in two places. I could hardly move while the shoulder was out.

4) While I'm okay with you RPing my guys continuing to fire, don't say they're moving when I've specifically stated they won't move until their backup arrives. I realize you didn't, but you came close.

5) Concussion grenades work much better inside than out. The air has places to go outside, meaning that the overpressure generation is small. C-grenades are more or less pretty explosions if used outside. If Hawk's behind a barrier, the pressure wave wouldn't hardly do anything to him. If they were tossed so that he wasn't behind a barrier relative to the grenades, at 5 feet he'd probably catch on fire. Again.

6) If he runs flat out into the school for thirty seconds, there would be a half dozen walls between him and the doors he came in. The C4 wouldn't throw him, he'd probably catch up to the people leaving (assuming he turned the correct way), and he would have to work his way back to the armory.

Everyone: Remember that everything you do takes time. Time is the key to writing believably. Running from cover to the door - 3-4 seconds. Running down a flight of stairs? 10 seconds. Walking down that same flight of stairs? 25 seconds. Crossing the street while running and ducking? 15 seconds if you don't stop. Setting an explosives trap? 15-30 seconds depending on your proficiency and the device.

For example, at a minimum, Hawk's actions cover as much as five minutes of time. During that time, absolutely no one and no thing can interact with him because of the way the post is written. Which, in turn, makes him invulnerable and unassailable for five minutes. Do you see the problem here?

I will always provide a way out of a bad situation. It may not be obvious, but it will be there. If you have too much problem spotting it, let someone else take a crack at posting first. If no one sees it, ask me in this thread or on IRC. I'm not actively trying to kill you, but I will place you in situations where a less than optimal response will kill you. So don't be stupid. I need to be able to see the logic of how what you do prevents bad things from occurring.

Now, DaWoad, I'm gonna give you a chance to fix this. I would really rather not have to call people dead because they aren't thinking OOC, particularly before everyone's even escaped from the school.

Alright, I'm glad to see everyone's thinking things through. Now, DaWoad, my recommendation is that you carefully reread my last IC and OOC posts and see if you can spot the way out. It's only a brief window, but it should be enough.

FUS: I'm not seeing a logical way Marcus could go outside to intervene in Hawk escaping without getting dead. But if you remember that we're in a school, there should be plenty of other options. Also, try to recall that too much fire support from inside could result in the application of heavy air support. They're not going to try and take a 'bunker' when it's hardly vital to their operation.

Point 2 would only be a problem if Fall can plant them all in a matter of seconds. Keep in mind that Marcus is doing what he's doing at the same time Fall is doing what he's doing.

Also, would Fall not warn Marcus as he went by? Worth also keeping in mind.

you read the post ?

Marcus noticed Natti's friend walk by, and grimly realized how alone he'd be in his quest. He knew that going the direct way was suicide, but he had no idea what else to do. Perhaps there was some system connecting the two buildings below ground, Marcus thought, though he had no clue whether or not that was true, and he'd simply waste time searching. Getting on his belly, Marcus crawled the rest of the way to the entrance, trying to be as concealed as possible as he snuck a peek outside. He scanned the area, wondering what else to do...

ooc: i know this is horrible of me, but did someone make an 'official' map? did it show the outside?
Dread Lady Nathicana
16-04-2009, 08:51
Hawk isn't in or outside another building - its all connected, hence why the rest of us on the INSIDE are now trying to get OUT. Hawk is outside the hallway we were in, just upstairs from the armory/locker rooms and such. Its a simple matter of just going back to where we were, opening the door, and telling him to get the frack inside because he's just outside of it, not too far off at least.

FUS: Might want to give him a chance to repost before you go too far - remember, moments, not many minutes at a whack. :mp:

Dread Lady Nathicana
16-04-2009, 14:15
Yes, there is more than one way out - which would also mean, more than one way in, hence silly to be laying traps behind us as the forces out there could get in any way they liked.

Hawk isn't the only one who takes off and does his own thing - most of us aren't sure what you're doing or where half the time because you tend to not transition, just post 'Ok, here doing this sorta now' types of posts, and then get crabby with us when we ask. DaWoad at least shows movement - and he wasn't 'just running off'. He had been with Marcus, and then sent him back inside.

The point is, if we're leaving, and there may be good people behind, laying traps is silly and a waste of time, and explosives that might come in handy in a more tactically sound situation.

But what do I know. I'm no soldier.

Rather than explain why Fall is doing something in the OOC thread, why not add it to the IC post you write, then it would make more sense. Because your line made it appear that you were unhappy that everyone was laying the blame on all the soldier trained students rather than just Hawk.

How about I continue to pretend you're not even there so I don't have to keep reading this crap or deal with your idiocy in or out of thread? Can't understand you half the time anyway.

Yeah. That works for me.

Seriously, get a grip.

Hazarding a guess? Its that time of year for a lot of folks - finals. Hell month. Loads of study, lack of sleep, need for focus on things not involving silly online games not matter how fun they can be.

Patience, Grasshoppah. He will post in due time. http://forums.nzgamer.com/style_emoticons/default/karate.gif

Man, I feel sorry for anyone still in school. And yet - I miss it. All I have left is the chaos that is Elementary School Recess. Oi. Can those kids give you a run for your money.

Oi. I'm not dead. Completely. Just jet-lagged. Though not so much now. I'll say hi to Gehenna for you all.

Sorry it's been so long. Shit got busy and got real, and well, life sucked for a time. Plus, I wasn't sure where to interact, but you seemed to need some prodding along, or at least confirmation there weren't two dozen paratroopers outside the library door waiting on you all.

Is there any reason this has frozen? Who are we waiting on? Is it me, to describe what's going on over by the hospital, cause I was waiting for everyone to get out of the school at least before posting again. But I can post if need be.
