The Starblaydi Football Association presents:

The Eighth Di Bradini Cup
or:
A blatantly obvious attempt at tacking this self-made, two-bit tinpot tournament on to some real footballing history by pretending (and hopefully getting away with) the pretense that it's actually really a continuation of something longstanding that makes this edition the:
29th Under-21 World Cup

After the successes that were the Inaugural (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=537637), Second (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=540605), Third (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=546766), Fourth (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=550328), Fifth (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=555514), Sixth (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=560638) - and most importantly, - Seventh (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=573393) Di Bradini Cups - and a massive 'thank-you' to everyone who has actively got involved in them, especially C&M for taking over while I was sans internet - the Starblaydi Football Association presents the latest edition of its own Under-21 international tournament. I think we can go far enough to say that this is also the 29th Under-21 World Cup, as if the DBC can continue without Starblaydi hosting, then the U21WC can continue without TnUI hosting it.

This tournament is named after Starblaydia's most-famous player, the first person to score for Starblaydia's own Under-21s, the current fourth-highest goalscorer in Starblaydia's history, member of the World Cup Hall of Fame and one President of the World Cup Committee. For the late Simeone Di Bradini (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/simeone_di_bradini.html), who passed away during World Cup 40's Qualifiers, we present, for your participation: The Eighth Di Bradini Cup, a.k.a. The 29th Under-21 World Cup!

OOC: A few points about this: Finishing positions in the previous tournaments will play a very minor role in this, but this tournament is very much influenced by RP. RP no longer automatically equals a win, but its a good way to get going.

Time-wise, this tournament is designed to be precisely between the WC44 and WC45 tournaments.

I'll be using an even-more modified version of my old Rugby Union scorinator, which has a quite high RP Bonus, but still lots of randomness.

I will be scorinating all results and I will be participating fully. I'm not desperate enough to win my own cup by cheating during the scorination, if I wanted that I'd just RP my own cup with just my puppets. If you don't like it that way, don't enter, 'cos you'll only complain later if I happen to do well :)
