Overall View:
While Arroza has been more impressive in its wins than Qazox, Qazox has faced a slightly tougher road to the WORLD BOWL, and have played closer games though out. If Arroza can get out to an early two-score lead (10-0, 1-0), they can dictate the defensive struggle to follow. If Qazox gets out to an early two-score lead, then the Arrozans will be in for a long day. This game will be close thoughout, and that has favored Qazox in this tourney so far, But Arroza does have a good offense, and they can score quickly if need be. But in the end, Qazox will take home its 2nd trophy, while Arroza tries to figure out why they can't get a WORLD BOWL title.

OUR PREDICTION:

Arroza 21
Qazox 24

MILLIONAIRES FALL IN 3RD PLACE BATTLE

In the football version of the “Penthoria River War”, Secristan was defeated in Loudon by the host nation of Newmanistan by the score of 20-10. The defense, which had played very well to this point, struggled at the start of the game, giving up 10 points to the Rockets as the home team converted their first two possessions of the game. The closest the Millionaires got in this game was 10-7 after a 41-yard touchdown pass from Tom Mitchell to Stacie Johnson in the second quarter, but that would be all the excitement they could generate. Newmanistan extended to 20-7, and only allowed a field goal to our team to get the third place distinction. Normally, not a lot of attention is paid to the third place game, and that was probably true for the rest of the world, but this was an important game for both of these nations.

Despite the loss, the Secristan Department of Sports is thrilled with the results of the tournament. It was clearly the most profitable World Bowl for the team, and it will build optimism for World Bowl 6.

Panic Sets In As Team May Actually Win For Once.

Atalanta, Arroza - In the weeks leading to the World Bowl Final between the Arroza Tar Hornets and the Qazox Phoenix, the Tar hornets have been forced to face the fact that they may be the first sporting team in the country's history to win a tournament not restricted to newcomers. Psychologists call a thing like this, "Fear of Success". The fear that when you get to the pinnacle of the world, you get to look down and see just how meaningless it all is.

Coach Tahlequah has brought in numerous sports mentalists in order to assess the state of his teams thinking, and has interspersed his practices with a meeting from notable winners in Arrozan sporting history. So far that list has included Baptism of Fire winning manager, and Sorthern Northland Assistant Manager Ross Gaynor, and Chris Mahaffey who won a soccer championship at Pocono City. When asked about the team's new focus on their mental health, Tahlequah responded,

"Well it's always a great idea to get guys head into the game, especially when there's so much time between games. We need to be able to focus, not just on what has to happen on the field, but what has to happen off the field as well. It's not a surprise to say that winning the World Bowl would probably be the biggest event to happen in Arroza since our arrival on the international scene a decade ago, so we have to take care that we do everything possible to maximise our chances. Now the Phoenix aren't slouches, so we don't just have to get right mentally we have to make sure we practice hard, and I've thrown some plays in the book that use all of our offensive weapons to the best of their ability. This isn't going to be Secristan - Taeshan. It's going to be closer to the shootout at the O.K. Corral than the "Cold War".

When pressed on the new offensive formations, Tahlequah declined to comment except to say that they would definitely be spreading the field out more and stopping Qazox's ability to put men in the box and stop the run game. He also said to possibly look out for 3 back sets with Chadwick, Hailey, and Major. The only difficulty with that set would be deciding who gets the ball.

In lieu of actually RPing, I'll leave you with a couple of interesting photos I did when I was intending to play the Brutes in the second round. Enjoy.
