EARTH PRESIDENT UNDERWOOD UNDER PRESSURE FROM LEADERS REGARDING AUSTRAILIAN CIVIL WAR

FITZGERALD HALL, NEW YORK: Earth President Charles Underwood is facing increasing pressure from the International Congress to intervene in the Austrailian Civil War. Sidney Burbank, Ausrailias INC Representative called on Underwood to aid his nation during a INC summit meeting yesterday. However, the President was adament in his refusal stating that 'while Austrailias plight is upsetting it remains an affair of the nation of Austrailia. The UNE Protocal here is very clear on this : The International Security Force shall only involve itelf in the affairs of a UNE nation if said affairs threaten neighbouring nations and/or the UNE itself.'' who seized power of Austrailia in a violent coup in March 2155 has since cut off Austrailia from the outside world, blocking communication in or out of the country. He also issued a dire waning to the UNE stating that there would be retaliations against any nation who tries to intervene. Jack Evans the former PM is rumoured to have been smuggled out of the capital a few hours before McGarfield's troop stormed the government building, sent a recording filmed at an undisclosed location. In it he begged President Underwood not to let Democracy in Australia die. He also said that if McGarfield was to suceed Austrailia would return to the dark days of the Rudd Era over a century ago.
