Time to Turn over a New Flag

After 8 years in the dark the people of the world were about to find out what happened to Kose and The Turkomans. After the Royal family abdicated the country spiraled out of control resulting in separatist sentiments from the Christians and Mongolians the Turkish majority looked doomed without a leader. Several tried and failed to unite the Turks to their cause until the ex-Crown Prince stepped in. A popular footballer during the old age the people joined him and the Mongolians were "Dealt" with and the Christians offered a place in his new Federation of Kosenic Republics.
Sinan Kose settled into his new home known as the Freedom House, an old office building in Kose Sehir turned into the new office for the Chairman of the Federation for at least the next 7 years. All of the old Turkomans were made into Republics and after 8 years of reconstructing Sinan Kose was ready to open up to the outside world by opening diplomatic channels with his old neighbors.
Sinan Kose awaited any response from the outside world.
Sorthern Northland

It had been nearly a month now since Kirsty McDonnell had surprisingly won the Presidential election and become Sorthern Northland's first non-Workers' Party President and first female President. As she sat in her office, she considered what she'd done in that first month. ASSBO's (Anti Social Swan Behaviour Orders), had been the main thing, it was after all on the back of the Swangate controversy at the Di Bradini Cup and after pledging to fight anti-social behaviour by swans that she had been elected. The ASSBO scheme she'd bought in to restrict the movement of violent swans largely seemed to be working and now she just needed to wait for the next thing to come along and busy here. It wouldn't be long, this was Sorthern Northland after all, a nation that always seemed to be on the verge of conflict for some reason or another. As if on cue, one of her aides burst into the room.
“Ma'am! They're back, the Kosenics are back.”
“The Kosenics? You mean Kose and the Turkomans?”
“Yes, well not quite. I mean it is essentially Kose and the Turbofans, but the nation that was once Kose and the Turbofans seems to have come back as a federation of Kosenic republics.”
McDonnell didn't reply straight away, instead she cast her mind back nearly six years ago. Then she'd been in Little Greece with her family for a “friendly” match between Sorthern Northland and Kose and the Turkomans. The match of course wasn't friendly and turned from a riot into near full out war as Kosenics ran amok throughout the streets destroying shops, burning cars, destroying the local airport, and in an incident that to do this day still annoyed McDonnell, stole her daughters favourite teddy bear. Ever since that incident she had remained suspecious of Kosenics, and wasn't to saddened to see Kose and the Turkomans disappear off the face of Atlantian Oceania. Now though they were back, and even if it was in a different guise she would need to keep a watchful eye upon them. Her aide was by now getting tired of the President staring into space.
“Ma'am? How should we deal with this situation?”
“Eh? Er, oh sorry. Well they are a bunch we will need to keep an eye on. Let me see that announcement from them. Hmm Sinan Kose is ready and willing to open up diplomatic channels with their neighbours. In that case we, by which I of course mean you will do for me, write to Mr Kose, welcoming him and his nation back and offer them an embassy exchange. Should they accept we should be able to sneak a couple of Secret Service staff in as diplomats to keep on eye on things over there.”
“An excellent plan Mrs President. I shall do that right away.”
TO: The Chairman of the Federation of Koseli Cumhuriyetler
An official communication from the office of the President of Sorthern Northland,
Dear Crown Prince Sinan Kose,
I was very much overjoyed to hear the news that Kose and the Turkomans is back on the map so to speak, under the guise of the newly formed federation of Kosenic republics that shall be known as Koseli Cumhuriyetler. Relations between Sorthern Northland and the former nation Kose and the Turkomans were of course at times quite strained. However we in Sorthern Northland believe that with the recent change in government here, and the newly founded Federation of Koseli Cumhiriyetler there is no better time to now to usher in a new era of friendlier relations between our nations. As such we propose opening diplomatic relations between our nations through the means of embassies. If you wish to accept this proposal then I'm delighted to tell you that we have an embassy building ready and waiting for you at 9 Revolution Square in the heart of Beningrad. The building is opposite the embassy for Candelaria And Marquez who are an absolutely lovely bunch, and I'm reliably informed that thanks to their relatively high number of Candelarian Turks working in the building have one of the finest kebab vans in Sorthern Northland parked regularly outside of their offices.
Yours sincerely,
Kirsty McDonnell,
President of the Eastern Westlands of Sorthern Northland

Sinan Kose sat in his office looking out of his window, he had so much to deal with. Such as the want away Christians constantly bothering him. Just as all this was forming in his mind his errand boy walked in with a message from the Sortherners. He read it and thought on it.
"Ok well I guess we could use the embassy. Have to visit this Kebab Van."
Dear President Kirsty McDonnell,
We are pleased to hear that you are willing to allow us to have an embassy on your land and accept your offer. I would like to establish friendlier relations after the infamous little Greece incident.
Yours Sincerely
Chairman Sinan Omer Kose
Chairman of the Federation of Koseli Cumhuriyetler (Kosenic Republics)
Nethertopia

From the desk of Pieter van Delta, Prime Minister of Nethertopia.
Dear Crown Prince Sinan Kose,
It is good to see that a nation like yours has returned to the international limelights again. Although not really being a neighbour of you, Rushmori nations (well, only Candelaria And Marquez and Nethertopia, frankly, because we seem to be the only Rushmori nations active in the internetional society, but that on a side note), tend to have close relationships with Atlantian Oceania nations. We still remember our jolly good time at the twenty-seventh instalment of the Baptism of Fire and are wondering if you still have our nice little 'Sinasapple Kose' banner.
Erm. Anyway, we are hereby contacting you to estabish an embassy in Koseli Cumhuriyetler (which I personally think of as a brilliant name), and vice-versa, if you would like this. Rob Kietecs, nowadays manager of Tenderville United, performing in Candelaria And Marquez' CMSC1, also wondering if your nation has any potential good defenders, because they're quite lacking them. He'll probably contact you about this in a telegram, most likely.
I can't think clearly at this time, so 'scuse me if this letter is a bit informal. I should lessen on the bourbon.
I hope to hearing from you soon.
Yours truly,
Pieter van Delta
Prime Minister of Nethertopia

Dear Prime Minister Pieter van Delta,
I beleive you will be pleased to hear that despite 8 years of campaigning on the battlefield I have you banner in top condition, a fair few jokes were made in my camp because of that. We also would like to arrange embassies. On the football matters your coach will have to contact the KCFF in terms of a player for your team.
Yours Sincerely
Sinan Omer Kose

Cafundeu

Dear Sinan Kose,
After hearing the news of your new political position in your country, we became worried about your future in our team. After playing for us in the last three seasons of the league, we expect you to not abandon A.F.F., as we have a contract with you, signed many years ago. We'd be happy to receive an answer, and expecting that you'll say that you aren't planning to break your contract with A.F.F., as we surely aren't interested in releasing you. Should you decide to continue in our team, the date for you to return to Cafundéu for the pre-season trainings is the 10th of January.
But, if you decide to terminate your contract with us, then you'll have to pay the fee, which is of V$5,000,000. This price, of course, doesn't include the taxes that are involved in this kind of move. You are free to do this if you want and, as soon as you pay the price for the contract termination, you'll be free to sign with another team or to retire.
We are really enjoying your performances in our team so far. Ignore the news that link you with weaker teams of the league.
Best regards,
Sir Antônio Barbugli
President of the A.F.F. football team

Dear Sir Antônio Barbugli,
I have no intention of breaking our contract and will be happy to carry on with the squad however I must put the needs of my country first and hope you understand that if my country needs me I will have to leave for a time. I will be rejoining the squad for preseason training on the 10th January.
Yours Sincerely
Sinan Omer Kose
