Official Statement
Around October 26th, 2008, an infected tourist entered the nation from an unknown area, bringing the "zombie virus" Solanum into our nation. He succumbed from his wounds at 17:00 hours on the 27th, and reanimated at 18:43 that day. It is unclear what events followed this, but the city of Davrix was overrun in less than 36 hours.
Outbreak Details
The total "zombie" count is now at approximately 2,300 undead, and possibly 300 more infected but still alive citizens throughout the rest of the country. The horde has been sweeping across the eastern portion of the nation and is quickly approaching the capital(10/28/08).
Government Response
The Arachnidus military has been taken under control of the Arachnidus Department of Disease and Quarantine, with all soldiers being re-armed with semi-automatic weaponry and Kevlar arm/leg guards. To slow the further spread of infection, the airforce has been alerted to destroy all bridges connecting the infected regions to others if the total undead count goes past 10,000. To prevent the undead from spreading to other nations, the Government has enacted a voluntary quarantine, and is sealing the outer wall that covers the borders.
Recommended Action to protect against global spread
All other nations should be aware that infected might cross their borders.
If such a thing should occur, a military force(black ops if the infection is small) should be deployed to take out or quarantine the infected.
