The Free Terrans

The colony was founded several months ago by Imperial Terrans fleeing there home-systems after a ruthless invasion by the Terran Republic. This small colony and nation are currently in no shape to fight.

Imperial Terra
The world is a slightly less habitable Earth like planet, it's young eco-system fragile to collapse from even the slightest error. Slowly native earth species are being introduced and cities have to be carefully planned out to not affect the local environment.
It might seem hypocritical but they hope by introducing these species it will slowly streghen the Eco-System to remeble Earths. The Empire spends much of it's funding on such projects on called 'Garden of Eden' and most of the Earth fauna can be found on designated 'Eden' zones
~ History ~
When the Terran Rebellion finally re-claimed Earth and re-conquered most of the territory of the old Terran Empire they were quick to split into 3 different factions.
The Terran Federation - the 'government' of the Terrans yet held no real power, in fact they were split by the next two factions.
The Terran Republic - Mostly lead by the old Rebellion leaders the Republic was greedy and corrupt. The capital of Tekor Nor was completely under there control which angered the Terran Empire.
The Terran Empire - These were the admirals and war-hero's who fought for the belief in the old ways, the Terran Empire had the veterans of Starfleet on there side and had there own Emperor who controlled his vast Empire from terraformed Mars.
Naturally the Terran Republic was jealous of the Empires wealth and power, war was inevitable when Emperor Peasus decided that enough was enough and gave up on trying to appease the Federation by handing over Imperial land and simply claimed that the Federation was a republican puppet and that the Terran Empire was leaving to form it's own nation.
For the first 2 years the war went well the for Empire, they lost Mars but managed to cut off the Sol System from reinforcements. But when the large attack to take Earth failed it went badly.
The next 3 years was a lost after another, without the large shipyards they could not repair and get ships back fighting fast enough when there Throne world Regulus fell to Republican slaughter they decided to use what they had left of resources to create several colony ships and send them out.
The original convoy was to have 7 Colony ships and 3 warships but a strike by the Republic made the ships have to run for it and only the Eternity survived the fight. Emperor Peasus was not at the battle but weird enough was claimed missing, nobody knows what happened to the Original Terran Empire but what can be guessed is it collapsed or is just holding pockets of resistance.
Now the Colony is trying to build up and get ready to expand again, there new home world is open for attack with it's defence being a single Excelsior class vessel. They have recently completed a small shipyard where they hope to construct a NX-02 class vessel which they can use to start exploring and conquering the systems around them.
~ Economy ~
Replicators can now be created but they are still in shrt supply, the Imperial Assembly is slowly making rations larger and hope that they can get rid of rations in the next 15 years. The Government had to spend 60% of it's rations in getting the material to build the shipyard in orbit.
~ Population ~
Imperial Terran's - 80%
Vulcan - 10%
Andorians - 5%
Other races - 5%
Terrans as always dominate the population and thats how they like it, even if most of the old Conservative ways have been struck out there is still elements of the old Xeno-Phobia.

The Imperial assembly was recently put together by Emperor Regent and they control all matters on the planet, the seperate colonies are now under control of the assembly and all local councils must report to the assembly if they with to make a major change.
The Assembly has about 400 members who represent Cities, Races, Military, Civilian, Corporations and everything that directly impacts the Empire.
Imperial Starfleet
Recently the Emperor has started the Terra Imperial Starfleet project, where they have organized things like Renegade fighter patrols and the final organization of the Garrisons into the Terran Legion. They have there Head-Quarters in New Berlin.

ISS Eternity, Excelsior Class and Personal ship of the Emperor.

New-NX project, to be finished in 9 months
Imperial Renegade Fighter
Renegade fighters (http://members.fortunecity.com/sfcspacedock/fftbefore.jpg) were mostly used during the Terran rebellion but were adopted by the Empire to booast there small numbers. Armed with a photon torpedo launcher and 4 phaster banks the Renegade is a fierce force in numbers.
