OOC: A few points about this: Finishing positions in the previous tournaments will play a very minor role in this, but this tournament is very much influenced by RP, unless the scorinator decides to come down harshly on you, RP = teh win.

Time-wise, this tournament is designed to be a Pre-WC43 tournament, 4 years after the last Di Bradini Cup.

I'll be using a modified version of my old Rugby Union scorinator, which has a massive RP Bonus - if you've posted 3 great RPs and your opponent none at all, you'll probably win 6- or 7-0. 3 Great RPs each, and it might be 1-0 or 2-1. Simple, it's the difference between the two teams' RP bonuses that counts.

I will be scorinating all results and I will be participating fully. I'm not desperate enough to win my own cup by cheating during the scorination, if I wanted that I'd just RP my own cup with just my puppets. If you don't like it that way, don't enter, 'cos you'll only complain later if I happen to do well :)

We go live now to Land de Wood FA Headquarters where Andrew Wood has just returned following the Cup of Harmony and made this following announcement:

I am proud to announce that Land de Wood will again be sending a team to the Di Bradini Cup this being the seventh one and the number seven being an important number in our religion (Protestant to keep things simple) we trust it will bring us success.

Why is seven important?
Seven is the number of completeness.
Well God created the world in SEVEN days.
In the book of Revelation there are SEVEN churches.
There are prophesied SEVEN years of tribulation.
During which there are SEVEN seals, SEVEN trumpets, SEVEN vials poured out.
Where else in the Bible is SEVEN mentioned well to name but a few:
Noah took SEVEN of the clean animals on to the ark.
During Joseph's time there were SEVEN good years and SEVEN bad years.
On the day of atonement, the mercy seat was to be sprinkled SEVEN times.
There are SEVEN feasts of Jehovah in the Old Testament.
Jesus said SEVEN sayings from the cross.

So it is into the SEVEN Di Bradini Cup (our second but we won't go into the number two in the Bible for now)

According to the hosts there have been four years since the last Di Bradini Cup, and yet there has only been one in the Land de Wood, due to the Wood busy time continium thingy. So while everyone else's players may have aged by four years ours seem only to have aged by one, one presumes the hosts will be happy with this explanation as to why most of our team are still eligible.

Sixteen teams? I believe we have a nice, even, four groups of four - hurrah!

Sign-ups are now closed.

The RP/Scores/Rosters thread will be up either today or tonight

I was about to say that I haven't forgotten about Myedvedeya's kit, but it seems you've deleted that request so there are no hold-ups - bar me!

Absolutely nothing personal about the kit request deletion. I found a kitmaker with only 2 or 3 national teams to their name, and thought they could probably use the business. Does ediraf do U-21 kits, because I could do a completely different design for this tournament.

Land de Wood Sports international news

Land de Wood today announced an investigation to try and find out what has happened to the 7th Di Bradini cup. Are the organisers waiting for more sign ups or has there been a problem with the stadia or have we just completely missed something.
