While we don't have a league of our own several of our players have been linked with big money moves to Newmanistan's league:
Adelio Acosta has been offered a sensation 6 year deal reportedly worth 6 million woods a year with a signing on fee of over 1/2 million woods by Loudon which we can exclusively reveal he has accepted whilst rejecting a deal worth a similiar amount a year but only for 4 years by Olympia. Courtenay Egger has been offered by Tundra Falls a deal worth over 5 million woods a year for the next 4 years, but he is holding out for a 5 year contract.
Meanwhile Centralia have offered an amazing deal to teenager Deverick Brand. The 7 year deal will be worth nearly 50 million woods when it is complete. It starts of at 4 million woods a year for the first 2 years, then goes up to 6 million woods a year for the
next 2 years, before hitting 10 million woods a year for the final 3 years. However, he has stated that he will not be signing any deals until the World Championships are over.
Perhaps the surprise is that Declan Basile who was apparently man of the match again in the last game (though we neglected to mention it) has yet to be made an offer, though we only news from Newmanistan clubs has been made public, other nations' clubs may be conducting behind the scenes negotiations with our players. We would not be surprised to see over half of our national team move abroad as a result of the World Championships.
For our international readers 1 wood is appoximately $0.75

News just reaching us
Declan Basile, recently named man of the match in Land de Wood's repechage game, has just put pen to paper on a deal worth nearly 20 million woods over 4 years with Newmanistan side Olympia. It seems Newmanistan club sides have a lot of faith in the Land de Wood players, but no other nation's clubs seem keen to take a risk on them.
Bumpage. By the way is anyone interested in a second WLC in a couple of weeks. Middle of September to early october

In a couple weeks? Not really.
Then again I think that may just be because of this case of RP burnout I am fighting. I'm hoping it's more a hosting burnout (its been pretty nonstop since CoH33), but right now I'm kinda taking my foot off the gas with the exception of the World Cup where I must RP!
