PopularFreedom teams requesting exhibition friendly against international teams...

PopularFreedom

Greetings,

All teams involved have now booked their schedules (OOC: real life is crazy busy again) so for now new teams cannot be scheduled (those who request tour dates after BANKS FC will have to wait a few real life months until I get another break to add in your teams - they will be added just out of time to do it now, sorry). We look forward to arranging more exhibitions in the near future using the following form (in case you wish to organize this ahead of time (OOC: so I can remember the template so I can be more organized next time I do this)):

Team name:
Team logo:
Domestic Prestige: (out of 20)
International Prestige: (out of 20) - note international events you have participated in and how you have placed as proof
Team Chemistry: (out of 100) - if you had any transfers or movement in the last season it is below 90
Primary Language:
Home nation:
Home region:
Roster: (max 25, min 14), include positions
Team level: (1-5, 1=lowest, 5=highest, unless you are submitting the national all-star team for your nation do not expect to get above 4/5)
Formation:
Attack Tactics: Counter, Wing, 3rd man release, box overload (choose 2)
Defensive Tactics: zone, pressing, offside trap, flat back (choose 2)
Team Mentality: offensive, neutral, defensive
Captain:
Who takes: penalties, free kicks, corners
Above average players on your team, their positions, and how good are they when compared to the rest (on the 1-5 scale again, realize that if everyone on your team is 50 in everything, your team will have 1.5/5 stars for overall skill)
Away team colours: (OOC: if you have a team logo it is based on from real life note which team as I prefer to just use that logo as a base)

Sincerely, Roland Miramik
Minister of Athletics
PopularFreedom

OOC: I can always make team names, logos etc if you need, I use Fifa 07 and Creation Master 07 for this. The majority of players need to be male (Fifa 07 has ZERO female faces) and approx 18-40 age range

PS: A map of PopularFreedom has been included below to help with travel plans. Pearson Cliffs and Loyalty Bay only have domestic airports, while Corresa's airport is even smaller so if flying into those jurisdictions from out of country you will need to go through Victory Union, Camelot, or Workers Point. If coming via spaceport, you will have to go through Locke Harbour.
PPS: Brunstone is located 40 kilometres east of Pearson Cliffs, Corresa is located off the southwest coast of the nation of PopularFreedom close to Vicanga.

In order to give the D-League some needed international exposure, as well as help our own club promote itself both inside and outside Dancougar, Shuukyuu Kishin announces its intention to accept the challenge of playing friendlies in PopularFreedom.

Team name: Shuukyuu Kishin
Nickname: Red Dragons
Team logo: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh106/newtypezaku/shuukyuukishin.gif
Domestic Prestige: 19 - The municipality of Kishin is located just outside of the Yuki City limits, and was referred to as the capital's "third team" when it was founded. But Shuukyuu Kishin have outperformed the others, Athletic and King's Eleven, finishing second, first, and first in the league's three seasons.
International Prestige: 6 - Kishin's overseas exploits have not seen much success: a second-round elimination in the 2148 TakilQuip Champions' Cup, a third-round loss in the 2150 edition, and an appearance in the group stage of the 2150 Globe Cup. Kishin's real international splash was the signing of Jeruselem forward Jennifer Sloan.
Team Chemistry: 70
Primary Language: English/Japanese - Although Dancougar's primary ethnicity is English and it is the de facto operating language of the nation, Kishin is one of several clubs which openly embraces the country's Japanese roots.
Home nation: Dancougar
Home region: Atlantian Oceania
Team level: 2.5
Formation: 4-4-2
Attack Tactics: wing, 3rd man release
Defensive Tactics: offside trap, flat back
Team Mentality: offensive
Away team colours: red with black stripes

Roster
Starting XI
GK Kenji Sato
D Joseph Cecilia (R)
D Terrance Dominica
D Norman Langoni (penalty #1)
D Ed Tayler
M Vince Dittmann (left corner)
M Ichiro Ikubo (penalty #5)
M Kazuki Midorikawa (captain, free kicks, penalty #3)(***): Trying to play his way onto the national team is Kazuki Midorikawa, who has worked hard on his crosses and free kicks, bringing them nearer to his high standards for passing on the ground. Midorikawa displays excellent leadership, although his offensive leaning is one of the reasons the team isn't as cohesive on defense.
M Kondo Tanaka (right corner, penalty #2)(** 1/2): A hard worker on the right side, often making long runs to chase down balls and provide service into the box. Not as polished on the little things, so his challenges are sometimes more physical that the ref might like.
F Paul Dismoor
F Jennifer Sloan (spot free kicks, penalty #4)(*****): The Jeruselem forward wowed everyone at Turtle Cup 1 as a 14-year-old black belt / striker, and while she's forever in the shadow of the Sallads and Dallases due to her, shall we say, lower profile, she still looks as good off the field as she is on it. Sloan is the Beckham of the young D-League, and led the league in scoring this past season with thirty goals in thirty four games.

OOC: To be expected; I suppose it is possible to make a new model, but that's far more trouble than it's worth, and I'm certainly not going to bother ^_^ In terms of ages, 22-35 is more realistic for the kinds of guys that are in the D-League, but since I haven't bothered to come up with ages myself, you have free reign.

Also, I used AC Milan uniforms for your team as they are red with black stripes (hope that is okay, making kits is the only thing I have found extremely cumbersome to do so I just permanently borrow the ones already on file and put the names of my players (or yours in this case) to that

Now i remember, there was something about you or some thing you did in WC 26 involoving something or another that seemed to tick everyone off.

Greetings,

Yeah, would prefer to talk about that elsewhere and not clutter up this board but yeah basically I figured out that whoever was doing the scores was not doing it fairly in WC26...

Was actually proven that I was right but how I handled it (pulling my team from the WC) was a tick off for most (though I honestly felt how I RPd it was cool but anyhow)

Anyhow supposedly they fixed the WC...they set my point total to minus 180 or something like that in it (then again I had noted that I was boycotting the WC so oh well, lol), and did not penalize the one or two that had ran the scoreinator until they got the results they wanted...

Figure a number of them are still around so tell them I say hi. No hard feelings (never was hard feelings on my end to be honest, I had fun RPing the boycott as I dig writing newspaper articles the most, always have), still not sure why they got all angry at me as I was the team that got screwed by the intial results and all I cared was that the thing was done fairly (since I am honest), but oh well, lol

Cheers, Eagle Scream
PS: The interesting part in the whole thing was when I found out who the guy was who had boycotted the WC in WC 16 as he turned out to be a guy I use to RP political wars between our two nations in the Sunbelt region, lol

Greetings,

Thanks and yes I might return. It has been I believe 2 or 3 real life years now since WC 26 so right now would be a good time to return though real life is the only issue now, lol (since I was last at the world cup I have gotten married in real life and had a kid, lol)

If I do return though expect the Brunstone Grizzlies to make another return to WC (just in case they get hammered or I am put at -180 or lower, lol) - they were PF's representative at the WC in WC 25 and actually did okay

Cheers, Eagle Scream
PS: Oh and in case you do remember some of my WC RPing, it is interesting, as Johan Jodoski just returned to the North Beach Sharks within the last week or two - money talks and North Beach has not won a BFL (championship league in PopularFreedom) since 2004 (not sure if you remember my RPing on Jodoski or not, if not will try and find the links to those posts as they were quite amusing IMO) :)

Sounds good to me, each team will defiantly be up for playing any games on top of the original two. Well within reason of what you want to sim anyway and what would be a reasonable amount for such a tour.

Also, I'm looking to bring a few foreign players into my league if any clubs in PopularFreedom would be willing to sell and if there's any players interested. Little Greece and Beningrad being First Division teams are more likely to be interested than An Blascaod Mór (a Third Division side) although if the right player was available ABM may be interested. The league is fairly new but already has teams in international cups such as the Champions Cup and the Globe Cup and the international side is now fairly established in the world so the of a decent standard although not yet up amongst the best. If you are interested then let us know and we'll see if we can come to any agreement.

PS: I'll include squads for Beningrad and Little Greece later.

Greetings,

I am unsure the skill level you require/request so I include the information below that is readily available from the BFLFA (Bay Football League Free Agent association). Teams in the PFA and BFL are about to begin their seasons so anyone on their roster I doubt they would be interested in selling though they might loan players if interested so let me know. The players below however are available and actively looking for a new team outside of the nation:

Analysis: Taylor was recently dropped by the Ravens prior to the 2008 promotion draft in order to make room for other players. In the last few seasons Taylor's abilities have decreased. An integral part of the Ravens 96,97,& 99 BFL championship seasons, he sat on the bench for basically the entire 06, and 07 championships. An injury during the off season has further limited his playing abilities, specifically his speed and therefore the Ravens choose to drop him this season. He recognizes his diminishing abilities however still wishes to play professional for a B level club or lower.

Analysis: Taylor was recently dropped by the Grizzlies prior to the 2008 promotion draft in order to make room for other players. This player was never that good and spent basically his entire time on the bench with Brunstone. Known for his lack of composure, he is expected to land in the Extreme Soccer League (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/popularfreedom_extreme_soccer_league.html) next season unless some B level team or lower picks him up from abroad.

Analysis: The recent announcement that the Harbour Sharks (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/harbour_sharks.html) had filed for bankruptcy has left Post without a squad for the 2008 season. Extremely loyal to his hometown neighbourhood of Harbourview, he refuses to play for any other team in Pearson Cliffs and in PopularFreedom for that matter. He wishes to play soccer internationally but only if the price is right. It is believed he has still yet to reach his full potential (despite he being the key reason why the Sharks won the 2006 Pearson Cliffs Football Association championship) though he only has probably another 5 or so years left in him.

Shuukyuu Kishin would be happy to extend their stay to help promote association football in Dancougar and PopularFreedom, as well as help all parties to prepare for their respective seasons.

Also, I used AC Milan uniforms for your team as they are red with black stripes (hope that is okay, making kits is the only thing I have found extremely cumbersome to do so I just permanently borrow the ones already on file and put the names of my players (or yours in this case) to that

I had AC Milan in mind when thinking of colors, so that's perfect.

Greetings,

The exhibition schedule has now been updated on the first page. All international teams were alloted a minimum of 2 games. As of August 1, 2008 only the Brunstone Grizzlies will be available for exhibition games however as the Pearson Football Association Season starts on the third. However the Corresa Town Crusaders http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/6239/bflcorresabx6.png (http://imageshack.us) have also noted an interest in having international teams play at their home stadium. Corresa is an island located off the southwest coast of PopularFreedom. There are no commercial direct flights from Pearson Cliffs to Corresa so expect to have to stopover in either Victory Union or Camelot.

OOC: Have added squads now, if you've already done your own names then the only players that should be put in that I have are the ones marked with the (*)'s.

IC:

As for the free agents available a number of them are of interest to Sorthern teams.

Beningrad are interested in securing the services of Oswald Roysmith to challenge current keeper Adam Federluchi for the first team place and to take some pressure off the young Ian Lewis. Cameron Post's mix of experience and potential sounds like just the player Beningrad are looking for up front.

Faddei Rijac and Edward Taylor meanwhile are of interest to Hillaton Downs. A Sorthern Second Division side who will be looking to gain promotion to the First Division.

OOC: I used their values in FIFA 07 to use as their salaries claims for the record

IC:

Greetings,

The agents of Roysmith and Post have noted the interest in their clients possibly joining Beningrad and are wondering what compensation package (salary per year plus bonuses) are you willing to grant them and for how many seasons

The agent of Taylor has noted an extreme interest from his client to join Hillaton Downs and wishes to know the compensation package (salary per year plus bonsues) and how long it would last for.

The agent of Faddei Rijac sounded to be honest unimpressed though again requested details on the compensation package amount and length. His client is primarily interested in joining a top division club and he wishes to start for that club. He sees more of an opportunity in the Extreme Soccer League then he sees from Hillaton Downs so he wants to know what guarantees (if any) he can get that he would start a certain amount of games.

(OOC: The ESL is currently in playoff run mode so recognize that right now realistically Rijac can only be talking with the bottom level ESL teams if that (as the top level teams need top level players which Rijac is not - this includes the Pearson Cliffs Cougars of the ESL), also if Hillaton Downs gives Brunstone a call they will find out that from their perspective he is horrible on defense...basically I am trying to RP this guy is playing hardball cause he is pushing himself to be in demand when in actuality he KINDA (note the kinda here) isn't, feel free to RP in relation to this as you wish) :)

You shouldn't have to do that. If the simulator decrees the teams are even, so be it. The Dancougar league is not nearly that strong that the champions should be able to show up and mop the floor with your guys...

Greetings,

Thx but I just want to make sure it is fair to everyone who participates against my B level teams
(dont worry only tweaked your team up a bit). I have had a level 1 star beat a 3 star in my own league exhibitions recently so still trying to figure out the specifics of how the sim works, lol

This international exhibition will help a ton with that as will help me see how the setup of others does against what is suppose to be my B level teams

Eventually I want to run a tourney where everyone is on an even level and goes from there however right now I do not mind losing (though glad I finally am scoring, lol)

Cheers, ES
PS: Cresthenge and Ridgeway (Ridgeway especially) so you know are MADE that they are suppose to be the worst (have RPd them to be the worst for years so might as well). Cliffstone and Westview are made better (though all are 0.5 stars outta 5 anyhow - though I suspect Westview is the closest to being at 1/5) so will be interesting to see how they fair against each team

Well, Dancougar's pretty B level, too, so...

It seems like this is the same debate that always comes up during the World Cup, what's the right balance between rankings and randomness. To me, there's no reason why a 1 star shouldn't be able to beat a 3 star, or even a 5 star. It's a giant killer scenario, and there's no denying it happens. If it was given that 3 stars always beats 1 star, what's the point of trying? The simulator, like the scorinator, is doing its best to keep things interesting.

OOC: I used their values in FIFA 07 to use as their salaries claims for the record

OOC: Sorry for the delay, haven't had the time to get round to this lately.

IC:
Greetings,

The agents of Roysmith and Post have noted the interest in their clients possibly joining Beningrad and are wondering what compensation package (salary per year plus bonuses) are you willing to grant them and for how many seasons

The week wage for both players will likely be low in comparison with what they could receive elsewhere at the equivalent of around £15,000 a week. This will be inline with the typical wage for a footballer at a top team in the Sorthern First Division. Beningrad wish to offer Roysmith a two year contract, with the option of an extra year should the player wish. Post meanwhile is being offered a three year contract. Bonuses are given depending on the teams performance if each competition with 50% of the clubs prize money shared amongst the players on an equal basis. Therefore bonuses will depend on how the team does.

However as well as their weekly wage, both players will be provided with a house for the duration of their stay in Sorthern Northland. The houses are equipped with standard living items such as a fully kitchen, fully fitted bathroom, a basic cable television/phone/internet package as well as running water, electricity and gas, the players and their families will also have access to the nations free health service.

The agent of Taylor has noted an extreme interest from his client to join Hillaton Downs and wishes to know the compensation package (salary per year plus bonsues) and how long it would last for.

Taylor will receive the equivalent of around £5000 a week should he wish to join Hilaton. Bonuses are again dependent on how well the team does with the players receiving 50% of the clubs prize money to share amongst themselves. Hilaton are offering a one year contract with the option of another year come the end of it.

Again the player w ill be provided with a home, and have access to the nations healthcare system should it be needed.

Rijac is being offered the same wage deal as Taylor, although Hillaton are offering a three year contract with a 15% wage rise should the team win promotion with a 5% yearly wage increase on top of that. The coaches at the club see him as one of the key players in the clubs short and long term goals should he join.

Again off the pitch a home will be provided for him as well as access to the national health service.

The clubs in question hope that these terms are acceptable for the players and look forward to hearing their responses.

Sincerely, Adam Choopwei

Well, Dancougar's pretty B level, too, so...

It seems like this is the same debate that always comes up during the World Cup, what's the right balance between rankings and randomness. To me, there's no reason why a 1 star shouldn't be able to beat a 3 star, or even a 5 star. It's a giant killer scenario, and there's no denying it happens. If it was given that 3 stars always beats 1 star, what's the point of trying? The simulator, like the scorinator, is doing its best to keep things interesting.

OOC:
Greetings,

True though here a 1 star team has the capacity to beat a 3 star team (seen it happen already in my A league quite a few times actually). I just want to make sure that is the exception instead of the norm (yes I know so far not the norm but that is not including my A league stuff which has been quite unusual).

Also realize, though the teams are 0.5 stars, I still am unclear as to what that defines and the international teams I just press superstar, or very good, or good, and it randomly comes up with the stats for the players and I leave it at that. The teams you are playing have had their stats personally tailored to fit their character (as they have become over the years of me simming them).

Basically what I am saying is I want to make sure the 1 star team beating or earning a draw with a 3 star team is indeed an exception and not the norm (which is this tourney so far is the exception however so far with me doing the sim on both this tourney and my A side is in actuality the norm). I should not have to alter any of the other teams from henceforth I hope (cept for the 4 new ones that I still have yet to do of course)

Cheers, ES
PS: Already simmed the games for tomorrow, rather amusing the score of one of the games (aka BLOWOUT, lol)

Secretary of the Sorthern Northland Football Association

Greetings,

All four agents of the players have noted their concern over the amount of their contracts in light of the current exchange rate between PopularFreedom and Sorthern Northland.

At last check the current exchange rate is:
2.0764 PF Euros = 231.3335 SN Rubles = $1 (Appendix A)

This would mean that for every SN Ruble, the players would be earning 0.0089... PF Euros. (Appendix B)

This would mean that based on the highest contract offered, they would be earning (15000 week*52 weeks in a year) = 780,000 SN Rubles annually. This translates into 7001.11 PF Euros using the conversion rate as noted in Appendix B, far below the market values of all four players.

The agents for Mr. Roysmith, Mr. Taylor, and Mr. Post have also expressed their concern that the information provided on the now outdated Galatic encyclopedia (Appendix C) shows that in 2007 the exchange rate in your nation of Sorthern Northland was 5.8941 SN Ruble = $1. This would seem to indicate that the nation of Sorthern Northland is currently economically unstable.

The agents for Mr. Roysmith, and Mr. Taylor are still interested but a bit concerned by the economic situation in the nation they would be moving into and need additional information in regards to their new homeland.

The agent for Mr. Post notes his client is, in light of the exchange rate, insulted by the contract offer and is no longer interested in speaking with Beningrad FC.

The agent for Mr. Rijac has noted his client is incredibly disappointed by the contract offer in light of the exchange rate, however in light of the perks including the:
-15% wage rise should the team win promotion + 5% annually wage rise on top of that
-a home fully paid for by Hillaton Downs as well as access to the national health service
-the possibility of being a major asset to the club

Faddei Rijac has chosen to sign with Hillaton Downs and was wondering when he could travel to his new home and team.

Not got the energy to do the economic calculations at the moment on what that would translate to though I'm afraid. Will have a look at it later.

Greetings,

I have notified the agents of Mr. Roysmith, and Mr. Taylor that the prices were in United Kingdom Pounds. They have both responded with cautious optimism though are unclear as to how these teams are able to generate such funds with such a floundering national economy

Currently the exchange rate you noted is 1.00 GBP = 1.98170 USD for the record

I have not notified the agent for Mr. Rijac since he already signed, I assume Hillaton Downs will not mind paying him in SN Rubles since that is what he agreed to.

The agent for Mr. Post unfortunately has noted that his client is not interested and has already signed with a Lomo Saltado club for 1 year which will be announced to the press at a press conference in Mar Y Vida, Lomo Saltado tomorrow.*

PS: The agent for Mr. Taylor has also noted that these negotiations are time sensitive as his client is close to reaching a deal with a Lomo Saltado club as well. Note: although you said that the team level shouldn't be above 4 unless the team was an all-star from a nation, I think that Petardos S/A must be an exception. They are currently the "best team of the world" in the rankings, and known for their economical strength that attract top players from different nations. This team is a very strong one in a strong league too, and they are surely better than all-star teams from some leagues, so I ask you to consider this, please.

PS: Another reason why I wish to limit teams to 4/5 is the teams you will be playing are B division teams (or teams that probably should be in the B division - Brunstone). Already had one blowout yesterday (simmed the games today and had another semi blowout) so the sentiments are going to be against playing Petardos if they are truly so good (at least the B level teams will be against it). That said there is one team (Corresa) who probably will want to play against them but just one exhibition is a little unusual for a touring side (the A level teams would be against playing Petardos for pride (in the even they lose) and injury concerns prior to the A level season starting in September). That said the better teams would definetly be interested in playing Petardos AFTER the BFL season (but that is Jan 09). Also I might be able to get one of the teams involved in the exhibitions to play against your side (or maybe even get one of your own teams to play them). Again, let me know how you want to RP this out, I just want you to know how I am RPing all this (in terms of news etc) and the rational etc. :)

As Petardos S/A is a team from my domestic league (a club team), it doesn't play the World Cup of the Baptism of Fire, of course (as it's my country - Cafundéu - that plays in the World Cup). The TQCC is the major international competition for domestic teams, being the Globe Cup the second. If you're asking about the performance of my country in these competitions, the info is below (about Cafundéu's performance):

WC32 - runner-ups in the Baptism of Fire; qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in group stage (1 pt)
WC33 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in group stage (3 pts)
WC34 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in round of 16 (5 pts)
WC35 - not qualified for the World Cup; Cup of Harmony champions
WC36 - co-hosted the World Cup; eliminated in quarterfinals (9 pts)
WC37 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in quarterfinals (6 pts)
WC38 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in second round (9 pts)
WC39 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in group stage (6 pts)
WC40 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in group stage (3 pts)
WC41 - qualified for the World Cup; eliminated in second round (5 pts)
WC42 - will co-host the competition

The thing that makes Petardos S/A strong is the fact that most of its players play in National Teams of higher-ranked nations than Cafundéu, especially Valanora, currently #1. I give you freedom to adjust their strength if you think that they don't deserve the ranking I gave them, you're free for it (if you do it, please weaken Atlético Jutense too, making Atlético a 3.5 and Petardos a 4).

I'd like to see my teams, even Petardos, playing against yours (or just playing). As I said, you can change their rating if you want, to make things more equal. I see these games as friendlies where the teams will start their preparation for the next season. If they lose, that's not a problem, this would only be a surprise. Maybe I could even say that their are in pre-season or that the team was a mixed one of starters and subs, but that is not necessary... they can lose just because they didn't play well.

That said, you're free in arranging the friendlies the way you prefer.

Greetings,

Cool. I will set up Petardos against my own teams. Fifa 07 (what I use to sim the games) has Man U at 4.5/5 for the record (I use them as a benchmark for all other teams) so will probably set Petardos at 4.5, and Jutense at 3.5 as requested.*

The teams that your teams would be playing are 0.5/5 or 1/5 so I highly doubt you will come close to losing. I suspect it will look more like the following where your team would be in the place of Beningrad in this example: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13880302&postcount=8

Realistically expect a match against Brunstone, your other opponents I am unsure at the moment though suspect it could be a new team based out of my city of Athens I am thinking of creating to play in the PFA next season

Cheers, Eagle Scream

About this, I think that the ratings that I provided about the players are more for comparison between themselves (comparing a key player with a common regular starter) than to be used strictly in the game. This way, you could make something like this:

- the three Petardos S/A key players are really special players (of course they have flaws)
- the others listed as 5 are world class players, but a bit weaker than the main 3
- the ones listed as 4.5 are very good players (at the level of a regular NT player in a strong nation)

Greetings,

Based on the information provided, the best I can get this team is 3/5. In order to get it to 3.5/5 I have to tweak a number of the players which I will do though based on how fifa 07 calculates things it is quite difficult to get a team above 3 stars if there are any flawed players (players at 2.5 for instance)

Cheers, ES
PS: Based on the info from your last post however, I will tweak them until I get it to 3.5/5

I understand, but don't worry if the team doesn't get the predicted rating. After all, it this is because the 2.5 - 2 players (that aren't even bench players - they are just backup players or recently promoted youngsters), they wouldn't affect the team's quality in the end, as they probably wouldn't play the games.

Greetings,

Done. Will post their schedule in a bit. Note that in order to get them at 4.5/5 I had to do a TON of tickering so a few players might be higher then others (compared to their initial rankings) however I tried to keep them level with each other based on what you told me so for the most part you should not notice much if any changes based on that. I also made sure your star 3 players were top 3 on your squad

Cheers, ES

Above Average Players:
H. Zeke-Tau, Center Striker, he is an outstanding player, and scores 2/3 of the team's goals. He is an enormous presence, and weaves his way through any defense. Considered best player in the region, he is only 19, and continues to perform at extremely high standards. He is respected by the team, and is a role model.
Above average players on your team, their positions, and how good are they when compared to the rest.

G. Monk, Center Mid, a moral leader on the team, he always is an outstading creater of plays, and cheers on the team and gets them up and running. His ability to create good position for the team has earned him the spot of Captain, he is a veteran, and is going on 25 years old.

S. Lotti, Goalkeeper, an Import from Imperial Overlord, East Ying's border nation, has prooved the team good. He doesn't break under pressure, and saves most goals, but his sole weakness is his kick. He has been known to kick the ball to high, or to wide. He compares to substitute goal keepers excellently.

Lanagau Sip, Center Defense, a East Ying national team veteran, and a veteran of the team, he is called the brick wall. No matter the condition of his wingers, he always manages to stop the ball and kick it upfield to awaiting feet. He is considered the best Defender in the nation, and earns his place in the teams hall of fame, which he will be added to when he retires sometime in the next 5 years.

Greetings,

At present the teams in the Bay Football League and Pearson Football Association are unavailable to schedule matches until after August 2008 (OOC: I am super busy in real life until September and maybe later so will have to upload your team info when I can).

We will contact you when we are able to arrange this.

PS: Let me know what team kit you would prefer to use as I do NOT create these, I just use a national or club uniform for teams (as my artistic skills are not the best in regards to creating these)
PPS: No INTERNATIONAL experience would put that at 0/20 in that area for the record. My best teams (North Beach Sharks & Pleasantview Ravens) who have participated in a ton of regional competitions but only a few international competitions are noted as 3/20 despite them doing very well in regional competitions for the record.

OOC: That I gave the wages in Pound Sterling rather than SN Rubles. ;)
Not got the energy to do the economic calculations at the moment on what that would translate to though I'm afraid. Will have a look at it later.

IC: Faddei Rijac is welcome to move into his property as soon as he wishes as his work permit and visa has already been cleared. Hillaton Downs will officially unveil him as soon he passes his medical which will be undertaken when he arrives in Hillaton.

Greetings,

Mr. Taylor has signed with Athens United (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13883571&postcount=68), Mr. Roysmith is signing today with the Locke Harbour Wolves. The agents of both clients thank your teams their interest in their clients

OOC: Did not hear back from you and wanted to wrap this up as normally if a player gets released in my nation they go to a B league in another country nearby, especially someone as adequate and known as Roysmith. Out of curiousity what is the official name of the league Hillaton Downs is in (so I can follow on the career of Mr. Rijac) :)
Sorthern Northland

IC:

Whilst the two clubs interested in signing Taylor and Roysmith are disappointed to see the players go elsewhere and that negotiations between the parties ended in a breakdown of communications from the Sorthern clubs, they would like to wish the two players well at their new clubs and for their careers.

OOC: Hillaton Down compete in the second division in Sorthern Northland. It is known as either, The Second Division, or Division Two. Will be scoring the league in the next few days so it shouldn't be too long before Rijac's first season is up.

Out of curiousity, do you use real time when doing your seasons. Just so I know how to RP it in my news stories as I use real time (meaning I have in my records that Rijac will be with your team until 2011 in real life, lol)

Anyhow if you don't all good I can figure out something, just asking so I know :)

Greetings,

Cool so basically 3 years in Sorthern Northland is 1.5 years real time?

If that is the case then can RP that on the planet your nation is on (hey figure the region you are in is on a different planet from The Heartland region) rotation around your star is different and therefore the year where you are is faster then it is in my nation/region :)

Cheers, ES
PS: Confirm with me this is okay and therefore will expect Rijac back in 2009 (beginning or end?) unless he renegotiates his contract (you interested in that or depends on how he does I assume)?

Well it all depends how quickly the World Cups pass. ;)

But I imagine I'll do three seasons (and therefore three Sorthern years) in less than one and a half real life years. In fact should we get WC 34 in before the end of the year, Rijac's contract will probably be up before the end of the year (in real life). The different star theory for the difference in years is fine by me, and as for renegotiation unless his club have become a top side in the top division there is a good chance the club will want to keep him.

Part-OOC, part-IC: Sorry I didn't get back to you about the kit business.
The kit you've suggested (Kaizer Chiefs, if I've read the badge correctly?) is absolutely fine for Banks. The colours are the same, and that's all I can ask.

I''m looking forward to seeing how the Riversiders do on Wednesday.

Cool, if possible if you are able to keep him until 2011 (whether on the same team or not) that would be cool. Else keep me up to date and I will RP something for him to come home whenever that is needed (though would prefer he is in your nation playing football until 2011 if at all possible (if not for the same team maybe he is traded?))

Should be able to work that, there's a chance that if he does leave it'll be to a Third Division team, but I'm sure they'll be Sorthern League clubs interested in him. Also his first season will almost certainly be up tomorrow, done the files for the league, now just need to do the cup.

OOC Analysis: Watched the second half of the Athens/Petardos match. Athens played okay though some midfield miscues led to both 2nd half goals.

Watched the Corresa/Banks match in its entirety. Great game! Corresa defender scored the first goal trying to stop the ball from going past the goalie off a rebound so not really his fault. Banks got the lead but Corresa tied it up in the 82nd off a gaff by defender Brad Fearn who stopped a Corresa cross from getting through then hung onto the ball for too long until Smith stole it and scored. Off the restart Banks roared down the field and off a corner scored the winner courtesy a header by midfielder Lee Pritchard.
