WELCOME

TO THE
ZACTARN PRIME GOLF ASSOCIATION TOUR

This is a golf tour obviously and this is the sign up thread (obviously) I'm going to host a a PGA Tour of sorts and I want people to RP in the Tourny's. No country affiliations are nessecary, I just want people to create characters (up to 3 per person) I need:

Name:
Height:
Weight
Age:
Sex:
Skill (I.E. what are they best at, Driving, Putting, Approach, Lucky):
Weakness (Ok no Tigers here everyone's gotta be weak at something):
Caddy Name:
Caddy Sex:
Caddy Skill (Same as Golfer except thi cats are Motivation, Intelligence, Club Selection):
Other (Anything you may want to note):

These Golfers will play a season of however many tournaments I feel like coming up with :D. But the tournies will be point based and not money based. At the end of the season the winner will get a handsome check of 18 Million Dollars *GASP* and the runner up will receive 9 Million, and so on until the last place person on the list. Each tournament will follow a similar track, with Points being awarded in the same way, 23 for the top spot 11 for the second and so on. There will be a tournament thread where I'll post each tournament with holes and details, and there will be another for Role Play (Like caddy Switches Game plans and such), weather will also be on the tournament thread, and Scores will probably be on another. If this causes too much confusion i'll combine them.

Caddy Name: Quentin da Vincho
Caddy Sex: Male
Caddy Skill: Intelligence
Other (Anything you may want to note): The Poiuy Group would like to sponsor a tournament, possibly two, to take place in Kenavt. Like, the golf course would be in Kenavt, but you would score. Because I can't. I suck. Bad.

I'm so glad there's a PGA now... thank you so much ZP.

-- How are scores/results going to be calculated?

-- Is it a single TOURNAMENT? or an actual TOUR? (it appears as though you intend it to be a tour, but the way you worded a couple things I am not 100% sure)

-- If its a tour, will it go to all nations participating?

-- If it is a tour, can it have a better name to reflect it being an international tour and not something within your nation exclusively? Unless you intend for all tournaments to be in your country, which would be a major turn off.

Please don't be offended by this next question.....
If I join, can you be trusted to play out the competition to its conclusion? I have to ask because I don't know you on these boards, in terms of sports RP. The last two competitions I signed up for with a not as recognizable host never made it to the end.

First, I will definately RP it to the end. I'm also trying very hard for antoher sport of mine http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=560782 but that's not the point (advert teehee). I was going to just have this go around in my nation to different golf courses, but if that would really be a turn off then I suppose I could go to other nations to hold tournaments, but I would like to know if the other players would get mad over me creating a course or if they'll create one, so I hope that covers everything.

ZP, what your doing by having every tournament in your country is really creating a domestic tour for yourself that's asking for foreign players. There's nothing wrong with that, persay, and it goes on all the time in the Domestic Soccer newswire thread.

But if that's the case, then what benefit does the Newmanistanian golfer have to go there, and what interest will the Newmanistanian public have in the tour, considering that Newmanistan would have one of its own. I don't run one, but given our history it's a safe assumption that one would exist. Newmanistan, with a frighteningly good economy would also, if I actually played out a domestic golf tour could award the same the kind of prize money. Sure I could give you a couple names just to help you out, but there really wouldn't be an interest on my part for further RP.

Now, if its a tour that hopped around the world, then automatically, when looking at the big picture, this would be something more prestigious then winning your domestic tour at home. That in turn would create interest in our country and across the world. I don't mind if you did a cosmetic thing like create a course. It's the big picture thing here that I'm referencing.

Also, please answer the question of how the scores will be determined!

Ok, I see what your saying, I'll place a tourny (or more pending if any interest develops here) in all countries interested in having one. I'll create a tournament to be played in every country, with the Inagural Tournament and the Tour ending tournament in Zactarn Prime. And I'll offer up the first tourny to be played in Newmanistan if you wish to submit any golfers.

Oh and as far as scoring here's a list of scoring per tourny:

1st Place - 23 Points
2nd Place - 15 Points
3rd Place - 13 Points
4th Place - 10 Points
5th Place - 9 Points
6th Place - 8 Points
7th Place - 5 Points
8th Place - 4 Points
9th Place - 3 Points
10th Place - 2 Points
11 / 15 - 1 Point

Scores are determined by a scorinator that I have set-up, and will be edited for each players Strategy/Strengths/Weaknesses/Caddy Strengths/Weaknesses/Weather/Course (Tees,Holes,Rough)

Point Setup will be edited if by some chance more than 15 People join
