It seems a while since anyone's really discussed scorinators especially for domestic leagues.
I am in the process of building my own one, working out how complicated/not complicated to make it and would appreciate ideas of what you would like to see in it?
Do you just want something simple whereby you assign each team a skill level or rank. Or do you want something more complicated? Skill levels for goalie/defence/midfield/strikers? Even for individual players?
As a website programmer I am going to make this available online including the ability to create leagues. Combined with my name generator, it could also generate random skill levels for each player.
The next level would be to add managers with preferred formations, possibly with skills of their own.
I plan for this to be a work in progress, start simple and make it more complicated.
Of course then I've got to work out the scoring system, which I'm slowly developing the maths for.
One thing on the international scorinators that strikes me is that the managers have no way of changing their style, for example if I'm playing attackive and go 1 or 2 up, I may well want to switch to a more defensive system.
Ideas are most welcome on this.
