This is the official signup thread for World Bowl II, the competition for American Football/Gridiron. World Bowl I was won by Dancougar, but are you ready to try and top them in the second version?

Sign up and take on the world! Perhaps there is an Arroza out there, a nation we're not as familiar with now, but will soon make a great big impression and eventually use it as a catalyst for other sports.

Sign ups will stay open for a couple weeks, and the competition will begin around the end of the month, as NFL training camps open up. It definitely will not start until the Cup of Harmony has concluded, I can tell you that much right now!

Newmanistan is more then willing and prepared to host this event again. However if you do have an interest in bringing it to your nation to host, you are more the welcome to place a bid to host the event.

I do not object to puppets (max of one, though) if they are RPed as a completely separate entity then your main nation, and that you do intend to RP with them as well and not just have them take up a spot.

The Kingdom of Dancougar will certainly be back, although let's try to not be another football team that wins it all and misses the playoffs the following season ^_^

I'm disappointed that, for the last one, I stopped RPing to try and get more involved with the F1 RP... and we all know how THAT ended.

So hopefully I can give this one my all.

The Arrows are back! Ready for more last-gasp victories and crushing defeats.

The Bluth Corporation national team will be back, of course! Been waiting for this one for awhile now!

The world's worst bunch on Gridiron players will be back.

This time I won't have a holiday getting in the way of taking part either.

The United States of Am3ricans would love to participate in killing everyone in the league.

the commanding presence that is the Taeshan Fitin' Falcons football team will of course be back to crush opposition and perhaps take another trophy in the sport we love the second most.(after baseball)

I am going to close signups on Friday, July 25th.
Group Draw will be the morning of Sunday the 27th.
Gameplay will begin on Wednesday the 30th. (I have a couple real-life busy days on the 28th & 29th).

Until the 25th, signups are open. If you sign up prior to the 25th, you're in. So prepared to start on the above dates!

Last Year, the team dominated the divisional play, but came up a few seconds short of a title.

This year, they are back, meaner, hungrier and with more trick plays.

Will Qazox win the Gridiron championship, finally, or will they fall short again?

There are rankings based on the World Bowl I results. However, these rankings will play a very, very small role when compared to RP. So those #1 and 2 seeds will still have to earn it, and someone who didn't play in World Bowl I, or did not do well in it, can still win the World Bowl.
