Alliance of International Drum & Bugle Corps Associates World Tour III Registration

This is the registration thread for the Alliance of International Drum & Bugle Corps Associates World Tour III.
If you wish to participate, please read the Performance Rules (http://wikistates.outwardhosting.com/wiki/AIDBCA_World_Tour_Performance_Rules) and Tour Rules (http://wikistates.outwardhosting.com/wiki/AIDBCA_World_Tour_Tour_Rules), then post in this thread with the following information, for each corps you submit:
Corps name
Corps home city
Show title and description
Rank the five general captions (Auxiliary, Battery Percussion, Bugles, Marching & Maneuvering, Sideline Percussion) in order from strongest to weakest.
Registration will close midnight July 11, 2008. At that point, I will ask you to provide venues for contest sites for the tour, as outlined in the Tour Rules.
Remember: you can submit up to three corps.
Competitions will begin on July15, and run every night for ten nights. Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals will run the next three nights after that, with the exact format to be determined at the close of registration, based on the level of participation.
Scorination will be done with a relatively jury-rigged system of Gnumeric spreadsheets, PHP scripts, and mySQL databases I have set up. I've made some changes to make it easier to post all the results (with 11 corps last time, World Tour II was quite a bear), but the backend should be essentially the same.
You can, as always, RP your corps' performances for a bonus based on the quality of your roleplay.
Although it's not really IC to use real-world music and artists, we go ahead and do so anyway just to make it easier to visualize the program.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

(I would attempt to create drill charts, but it might be too little too late. Also, might be missing due to some IRL activity. Corps are alive in the Southeast, even without Magic of Orlando. </3)

No need to...the way it works is that each corps is assigned a score within a certain range at random, and the results for each night are then generated based on previous night's scores, but with enough flex room that placements can change, your score can occasionally drop, etc. When the scores are posted, you can role-play any aspect of your corps' performance (rehearsals, trip to the show, the quality of the housing site, warm-up, the performance itself, retreat, comments in the parking lot afterwards, etc.) and how well you do this can give you a bonus that is factored into the next night's score.
Taeshan: you still need to post caption rankings for Tangles of My Heart.

Heh...I write enough drill as it is for real groups...don't need to be doing it for fake ones too.

Corps registration is now closed.
It's now time to let us know which stadiums you'll be using. Since there are ten corps, and there can be no more than eight corps at a show, a total of twenty venues will be needed (two for each of the ten nights of the tour). Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals will continue to be held at Vanguard Stadium in Solzhenitsyn.
You must provide one stadium for each of the corps you have entered, in the city in which that corps is based (or a city relatively close to it, if no sufficient venue is available in that city), as that corps's "home show"--and you must state it as such when you post your stadium list. There are ten corps, so of the twenty venues, ten will be for home shows.
That means we need ten additional venues; I have split the number required among each of the participating countries based on the number of corps they have entered.
Bluth Corporation - 3 extra (6 total)
Taeshan - 3 extra (6 total)
Zwangzug - 3 extra (6 total)
Alliance Star - 1 extra (2 total)
The deadline for your stadium list will be midnight July 15, 2008.

So everyone knows ahead of time, finals format will be the same as last time: top eight by medal count advance to quarterfinals, top six scores from quarterfinals advance to semifinals, and top four scores from semifinals advance to finals.
