So, anyone up for some rugby? I've made a spreadsheet-based scorinator that I'll use to host if there's no one else up for hosting, but as far as taking part goes, fire away.

Scorination Spreadsheet-based. Results from RWC 8, the last properly completed edition, will be factored in for returning teams. Cumulative RP bonus, subjectively awarded on quality - no bona fide effort at RP will go entirely unrewarded, however.

Competition format
Group stage followed by single-elimination playoffs.

For the group stage:
Win - 4 points.
Draw - 2 points
Loss - 0 points
Bonus point awarded for losing by 7 points or less, and for winning by 14 points or more.

Venues
tba, depending on signups.

While the Candelarias Rugby Union Union would merrily sign up and support a Kelssekkian hosting bid, they would strenuously oppose what would amount to the wiping of the abortive ninth tournament from the record books.

We still have rugby players and fans over in the Tieshanese capital waiting for the next round of games in the manner of Japanese holdouts. This move would just confuse them furthur.

I think debating whether union or league is better should be in a different thread but...

Union is better, it is more established world-wide and it's definately not a pussys sport.

I know it's a small number but once there's a successful tournament going on that keeps getting sign ups people will bandwagon on. That's what always happens with baseball.
