Jeffrey Saturday #63, Team Captain of the Bluth Corporation Police Department, and Wayne Jarvis, spokesman for Fünke Law Enforcement Systems, announced today in a joint press conference that the two organizations have finalized a contract to make Fünke Law Enforcement Systems the sole supplier of law-enforcement equipment, including vehicles and weapons, to the police forces of Bluth Corporation.

One of the more salient terms of the agreement is that if FLES wishes to sell for export any equipment it sells to the Bluth Corporation Police Department, it must do so at 110% of the price at which it sells to the BCPD, and must remit the difference between the prices to the Bluth Corporation Treasury. Said Saturday, "Export sales have historically been a lucrative source of income for other countries, but in order to benefit from it ourselves in a manner compatible with our country's free-market foundation, we had to negotiate a clause into our supply contract. We couldn't just pass legislation for it." Saturday was careful to emphasize that, as a simply term of the contract between the BCPD and FLES, this clause would have no effect on the myriad of other domestic law enforcement suppliers that produce for export sales. "They're free to make their own export agreements however they wish, just like always," Saturday remarked.
