Anarchy?

Miltonera

Oh well, my nation, Miltonera, was just labeled as an anarchy. I have been leading my state in a libertarian way, still preserving an army, as well as health, prisons and such. How can I be labeled as an anarchy?

The last thing I want to be is an anarchist. I know there is an ideology mainly based on what is called capitalistic anarchy, where there is absolutely no state. However, this is not the state i have created. I have created a state of equal oportunity, low taxes, liberty(both economically and socially), and safety. How can this be an anarchy when i have a solid state?

Anarchy is the top position on all the freedoms levels.

15 hours ago: Miltonera was reclassified from "Capitalizt" to "Anarchy".
15 hours ago: Following new legislation in Miltonera, anti-government political posters adorn every building like wallpaper.

Just a few too many Miltoneran freedoms seems to have crossed the line from corporate state to complete chaos.

The NationStates rankings are highly exaggerated anyway, as are the events - the site was created as something of a joke to accompany a book where nations are run by companies, as companies. Falastur is supposed to be a benevolent Monarchy where the Government does what is best for the people, but it periodically alternates between psychotic dictatorship and iron fist consumerist and has a 100% tax rate (as do a lot of nations on NS). Note that most of the issues don't have a right answer ;) Don't let it bother you, it doesn't really mean anything, and it doesn't affect your RP if you choose to RP unless you decide to follow it.

Although Romanar is classified as a "Corporate Police State", it is legally a Representative Republic with a strongly capitalist economy. Though there have been allegations of corruption in government, which is probaby why we are mis-categorized. But nobody has proved those allegations.

I wouldn't put much stock in those rankings. Just like population figures, the political ratings are meaningless.
