The Starblaydi Football Association presents:

The Fifth Di Bradini Cup

An Under-21 International Tournament

After the successes that were the Inaugural (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=537637), Second (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=540605), Third (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=546766) and Fourth (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=550328) Di Bradini Cups - and a massive 'thank-you' to everyone who has actively got involved in them, particularly the 18/20 rosters from last cup - the Starblaydi Football Association presents the latest edition of its own Under-21 international tournament.

This tournament will be the first Di Bradini Cup in Memorial of the legend it is named after. Starblaydia's most-famous player, the first person to score for Starblaydia's own Under-21s, the fourth-highest goalscorer in Starblaydia's history, member of the World Cup Hall of Fame and one President of the World Cup Committee. For the late Simeone Di Bradini (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/simeone_di_bradini.html), who passed away during World Cup 40's Qualifiers, we present, for your participation: The Fifth Di Bradini Cup!.

OOC: A few points about this: Finishing positions in the previous tournaments will play a very minor role in this, but this tournament is very much influenced by RP, unless the scorinator decides to come down harshly on you, RP = teh win.

Time-wise, this tournament is designed to be a Pre-WC41 tournament, 4 years after the last Di Bradini Cup.

I'll be using a modified version of my old Rugby Union scorinator, which has a massive RP Bonus - if you've posted 3 great RPs and your opponent none at all, you'll probably win 6- or 7-0. 3 Great RPs each, and it might be 1-0 or 2-1. Simple, it's the difference between the two teams' RP bonuses that counts.

I will be scorinating all results and I will be participating fully. I'm not desperate enough to win my own cup by cheating during the scorination, if I wanted that I'd just RP my own cup with just my puppets. If you don't like it that way, don't enter, 'cos you'll only complain later if I happen to do well :)

Or check through the links to the Inaugural (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=537637), Second (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=540605), Third (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=546766) and Fourth (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=550328) Di Bradini Cups, to see what's gone on precisely in the last four tournaments.

Glad to have you here, Gwaine!

Agroprom would love to sign up.
The Gupta Dynasty
23-04-2008, 16:05
The Silver Wolves of Yafor 2 sign up. Because they can. And because they have a ton of U21 players on the Golden Wolves, so they won't have to think of names and bios.
United Hetzel
23-04-2008, 16:09
The Islandrs U-21 Team will participate

Woah, nearly missed this one.

Did I forget to mention it? T'was in the #nssport topic and everything!

As an aside, we have 20 teams ready to go, though I'd prefer to wait until *after* the World Cup has finished, I think it'd be too long a gap. Starblaydia (along with most teams) will surely be eliminated in the Group Stage, so I'll look to post a thread a little after that.

Do bear in mind, though no doubt you are doing I just thought I'd mention it, that the Cup of Harmony looks set to drag on at the current rate until early 2009... You'll be at risk of giving Newmanistan a heart attack if she has to post four RPs a day... :D

Better get her eliminated as soon as possible, then! :D
Newmanistan

This will be a challenge! :D
Plus it'll probably be right when World Bowl I is heating up, making even more RPs needed!

Ah well, Star and I have a good history of matching up our "busy" days so far. Like yesterday, me very busy = no CoH scores. ;)
Lovisa
27-04-2008, 17:50
if is free spot then Lovisa start one more time
kenavt

One more team is required for a nice, easy-to-group 24 (four groups of six), then we can begin. Should any international team require team kits, please find the ediraf (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=555065) storefront for all your shopping needs.

This is not a sign up ...

This is certainly 100% not a sign up...

Any intepretation of this as a sign up is totally wrong!

(P.S. We Sign up)
The Macabees
28-04-2008, 14:37
The Macabees has never funded the gathering of a team for an under-21 football competition, but with the recent surge in interest in international relations - including the extension of its sports team in the international world, The Macabees has decided to fund a team for the Di Bradini Cup.
Starblaydia
28-04-2008, 14:40
OK, that was easy.

The Macabees replaces Taehsan's puppet of Kosovoe, as 'main' nations get sign-up preferences over puppets.

Look for an RP/Rosters/Scores thread up tonight, which will be linked from this thread, too.

SIGN-UPS ARE NOW CLOSED AT 24 NATIONS
