Okay, So I've been Watching Gladiators on the telly and have been inspired to do something similiar here on NS.

Each nation would submit a gladiator name, preferably in the same style but something different. References to greek/roman/norse gods are encouraged as well as any name that could be reference to the gladiators strengths.

Gladiators should have a type of personality in relation to respect of the rules, the competitors and the hosts/referee's

If there is enough interest I'll start on a scorinator and we'll get going.

We certainly have enough people interested to make a go of this...

However there are alot of different events... I doubt I'd be able to do them all in a reasonably amount of time.

The following 5 events are certainly in...

Some form of all of these apart from the eliminator has some form of scorinator for them.

If you want help with scorination I might be able to provide them.
Each event should pretty much be one of two things: either a variation on a sports scorinator (Powerball, Atlaspheres, Swingshot) or a simulation that gives a given probability of 10/5pts (most of the rest). So it shouldn't be that hard. Just need to know about how contestant/Gladiator attributes might be...

One thing we need to work on is the structure and format of the Eliminator

The Current Australian Gladiators has this structure to it...

Over & Unders (2 high and 2 low beam where you go over the high and under the low)
Rope Climb
Monkey Bars
Quarter-pipe (Where you have to run up it)
Rope Ladder Climb
Zip-line
Balance Beam
Travelator
Rope-swing

This list is from memory so it may not be complete... if it isn't i'll post a correction as soon as I am certain.

Should we adopt this format for the eliminator or should we make some changes? (Travelator and Rope-swing are non-negotiable)

Here's what I've worked out so far...

Contestants have...

Agility, Strength and Tactics - 15 points to spread among them they basically at the moment result in a bonus that is added to a random number to determine the result.

Gladiators have....

Agilty, Strength, Tactics and Fairness - 20 points to spread amung them Fairness tops at 5. Fairness applies to most events that the galdiator is in... as a percentage chance that a foul rule-breaking occurs giving the contestant 10 pts. a 100% fair gladiator (full 5 points) is equivalent to a contestant.

I'm really in need of some help with the actual scorinators for most of the events. I'm not really sure how I could do them.
