Abolish Dictatorship.

The Empire of Latone, believe that the abolishment of dictatorships, would bring the social justice to an improvement. Also, not only will it improve justice globally, it would improve international security. As democracies, I believe that it is our international and political duty to uphold and preserve democracy, in order to not only create a more safe, and enjoyable world but also in order to protect and secure those nations that are unable to defend themselves. A global defense unit should be put into action by the WA, to keep this democracy and ultimately PREVENT ALL DICTATORSHIPS.

Before we get into the impracticalities of your actual proposition, you need to find your way over to the WA Specific forum.

The Hallowed Empire of Sagittarya, would like to point out to the Empire of Latone that democracies can in fact be authoritarian shitholes as well. :)

"Oh dear. Another one?" Nathicana asked idly as she and her ministerial staff went over the latest news of the day.
"Well, you have to admit, it has been some time," Calabrese replied, chuckling and shaking his head as he read over the statement again.
"Do you think it's worth bothering to 'enlighten' them?" A leisurely sip from her ever-present ice water was accompanied with an amused raising of her brows.
"Perhaps a simple statement and a direction of their attention to our alliance declaration?" Evangelista suggested. "It does sum things up rather nicely."
"Capital idea. Would you mind terribly doing the honors?"
"I'll get right on it."
"Excellent. Next order of business - these 'Scientologists' who've recently been trying to set up shop in Devras. I don't think I'm entirely keen on the idea, given what I've read," Nathi mused, directing her gaze to her Minister of Religion.
"I don't think they've quite realized there is no tax exempt status in the Dominion," Giraldi smirked. "Nor that while we tend to allow people their personal beliefs, so long as they do not interfere with the state, we do have our limits."
"Soldati?" Nathicana asked simply.
"I've a better idea," Giraldi replied with an oily smile. "Tip off La Famiglia that there is a group in need of their ah ... 'protection'. Once they grasp that they'll have to pay taxes as well as additional fees, we'll see how enthusiastic they are about remaining."
"You are a horrible, horrible man, Nicco," Nathi grinned.
"Flattery," he dismissed with a casual wave of his hand. "Next?"

To: Whomever it May Concern in the Empire of Latone
From:Taccino Consulenza, Public Relations Officer
It has come to our attention that you feel our method of governing ought to be abolished. While this causes us no real concern, we felt it might be appropriate to attempt to enlighten you somewhat as to the realities of your somewhat naive proposal, an reiterate our stance on our right to govern as we see fit.
If I might direct your attention to the Non-Democratic Alliance Manifesto (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=277559) (see attachments), we feel that it may assist in the betterment of your understanding our methods and rather firm stance on said rights.
In the meanwhile, please know that we intend to show other nations the same courtesy they show us in allowing us to proceed with our internal business without outside interference, and would encourage your nation to adopt a similar stance, regardless of your biases towards various forms of governance.

*YAAAAWN*
I do terribly love the notion that ten million idiots can effectively manage themselves better than one truly brilliant military dictator. Hell, they couldn't even "democratically" decide how to order pizza, how on earth could they run a country?

Gwljdodnfyglijjijip believes that all nations have a right to their own system of governance, and dictatorships that conduct themselves with honour and justice are as viable as democracies of the same mien. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I'm an absolute despot. Slaves, fetch me my slippers!

Are you implying that dictatorships cannot allow their people to have the same freedoms as dictatorships? My people are granted superb civil rights, what's the point in giving them the right to vote?

If this were a WA Proposal, it would be in the unenviable position of being an ideological ban, a branding violation, and a WA Army proposal, and thus thrice in violation of the WA Proposal rules (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=420465). Please don't submit it as a Proposal.

Across the Orion Sector, snickers could be heard upon learning of Latone's existence, much less their current proclaimation. A comedian even jested that Latone would be far more likely "abolished" than "all dictatorships." The event passed by local news sources unnoticed. The Orion Star Empire has no official comment.
