anyone interest can submit a character profile. listed below is synopis of the RP.

Intergalactic treasure hunting can be a dangerous, but profitable venture. No one knows that better the Dante, when it comes to treasure he has seen it all from government agents to pirates, there is no prize to big or dangerous to go after.

When the a set ruins are discovered on remote mining colony by an old friend, Dante sees an opportunity to make some quick and easy cash. He is joined by his co pilot Tom, one of the best pilots in the sector, but still needs a crew to help make the trip. In an act of desperation he pulls in to an international ship station hoping to find a crew.

However, once in the ruins the team finds discover an ancient prophacy and that there is more here then what anyone could have imagined, and that they are caught in the middle of something that one could have expected. Only together will together will the they find the truth, that may save the live of everyone in the sector.


ok I've been sitting on this idea for a awhile. I just sat down and wrote the outline for the story. I am looking for a small crew of people of verying background to join in on this adventure. It is Future tech but please keep any weapons reasonable. Just post character background of anyone that you want to enter, but keep it to one character. Please remember that this a character RP. Also I do not want to many people, cause I find that the RP just gets hyjacked then. I will invite some, but this will be open to the public

Could you possibly throw one up for Dante and Tom so I have something to base mine off of?

Dante:

Age: 36
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Occupation: Ship Captain/Treasure Hunter/Pirate
Motto: Live for today and die tomorrow
Weapon/ Combat Proficiency: Pistol, Pulse Rifle, Basic Hand to hand

Background:
Dante got his start and the Tappee Naval academy, and was ranked at the top of his class until accident caused him to be expelled. Despite the set back Dante quickly found work as a ship hand on a merchant ship. However, he quickly discovered that there was more money and adventure in working in the black market.

He quickly learned the ways of the illegal underground making his way up the ranks until he was able to get his own ship and crew. After the death of a close friend Dante decided to shift his income to the slightly more legitimate world of treasure hunting.

When he does not have a lead Dante can often be found in bars at various space station, drinking gambling, and looking for information. For the most part he runs a lose ship, but when things get tough, it is his way or the highway.

Tom:
Age:26
Sex: Male
Race Human
Occupation: Pilot
Motto: I am a leaf in the wind
Weapon/ Combat Proficiency: Pistol, Street fighting

Background:

Tom comes from a long line of space traders. Get grew up on merchant ship, and knew how to handle the controls of a freighter also most before he knew how to walk. He has land ship of almost every design on every imaginable planet in every condition, and has a uncanny understanding of ship system. He can patch together any flight and engine system using almost nothing.

However, Tom quickly grew tired of the mundane life aboard merchant freighter, and set off looking for adventure. He took a few odd jobs here there until he met with Dante. Dante could see Tom’s talent as pilot and the use that it would be in landing on remote planet, and eventually asked Tom to become a permanent member of his crew.

Unlike Dante, Tom prefers to stay out of trouble whenever possible, he will go out his way to avoid a fight. He prefers to stay out of sight as much as possible, and doesn’t like those people who he calls land dwellers.




if you want steel your character can already be a member of the crew, or sign on later. I also think that I will be adding a another character.

Name: Nicole Leigh
Height: 5’3”
Weight: 105 lbs.
Age: 25
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Weapon/Combat Proficiency: Pistol/Minimal at Best
Background:
Nicole has quite a history of running away and never being happy. Her father and mother were born and raised working class, and so she became a doctor to escape their mediocrity. Only a few years later, Nicole abandoned her license, seeking excitement on the outer rim of the Orion Sector.

Emotionally detached with a hard outer shell, Nicole tries her hardest to stay tough and not act “girlish” regardless of certainly looking the part. Numerous guys have been shut down numerous times during unsuccessfully come-on attempts. Still, her abrasive personality has left her with few friends.

Obviously out of place treasure hunting, Nicole seems lost but too stubborn and determined to admit it. However, she is an apt Science Officer with a quick wit, and has shown an early nack of getting out of sticky situations along with Dante’s crew.

Race: Juraian
Age: appears to be in his early 20-ties
Occupation: Space Traveller (ocassionally doing odd jobs for the living)
Combat skills: superior close-combat skills, most notably swordsmanship and skill with staff staff and martial arts, but he is also trained to use various objects as weapons.
Very strong, much stronger then he looks (Juraians are generally much stronger then humans) and can be very fast when necessary, to the point of dodging and/or parrying shots.
Not skilled in using pistols, rifles or any similar weapons.
Other skills: very good at piloting, decent skill in spaceship combat.

Not a part of Dante's crew to begin with, Sagami offers to sign up with them for this mission. He can either join them aboard their spaceship or come in his own speaceship, whatever is more convenient.

Adrian:

Age: 20
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Occupation: Mercenary/Pirate
Weapon/ Combat Proficiency: Expert in most light and medium weaponry. Has a high degree of proficiency in most heavy weapons. Has extensive training in hand to hand combat, and can deal with multiple targets unarmed.

Background:
Was raised in a mercenary nation. He was born to fight an trained to kill. He has seen extensive combat around the universe, and he has been assigned to high risk, no support missions.

He lost his right eye on one such mission where he was assigned to infiltrate a nations embassy. He ended up in a brawl against four men, and one got a lucky shot to his eye with a knife.

He is currently waiting for a promising job offer, while mourning the loss of his eye in a spaceport.

Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Hazel
History: Atticus's history is sketchy at best. He became a trader in both the legal and illegal markets. After several years, he cultivated numerous contacts throughout the sector and can get just about anything. He enjoys the freedom of his line of work as well as the danger.

Each person can decide if they already want to be a crew member, or if they would like to sign up at the station. Just let me know. I will be post the bio for my last character that will join up at the station here soon, there are just a few details for me to work out first.

I'd like for Nicole to already be a crewmember, but to only have been one for a short period of time. Basically, they know her and have went out on expeditions with her a few times, but they aren't "old pals" or anything.

Background:
Efira is a member of the Order of Gnosis, a Calnuxian religious sect, that is looking for enlightenment through meditation. They are generally known for the reclusive nature, fearing that the outside world may taint their efforts. However, Efira had decided to break, and pursue her own personal pilgrimage seeking her own answers. She refuses to speak about her past before she joined the Order of Gnosis, or the true reason why she actually had joined in the Order.

I have to second that. Saw the update on this thread only now, sorry, and it will take me some time to read and reply to your posts. (I am a pretty busy person overall, so I hope you will bear with me :( )

And writing guys when situation doesn't involve combat or standard-issue diplomacy is likewise somewhat complicated for me.

Tappee, I do owe you an apology. I think I'm going to have to drop this RP before I get started and then leave you out to dry. It appears I have stretched myself too thin. I knew it was going to happen, but I didn't want to pass up a chance to RP with you. However, since we are both together in Clairmont's RP, this one just gets forced to the cutting block. I'm having trouble keeping up with everything, and I don't feel I could give this RP the time and quality it, and you, deserve. I'm not about to lower my standards to keep up, especially not for one of my best NS friends. Sorry man. I'll see you in Clairmont's RP.

Tuikor Joined Dante’s crew years ago few ago, escape persecution on his native home of Octabius. He is calm, and reserved, and tries to stay out of sight, fearing that humans might be afraid of his appearance.
