Opening Theme Tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH0hHZA0U5c)
A quiet night in a small English village. An ordinary English village with an ordinary village hall and an ordinary village green. However on this night extraordinary events will occur and it all starts with an extraordinary man and his machine.
The village silence is broken by a strange sound. The sound of the universe. (Tardis Landing Sound (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bb_J5hTTnjw&feature=related)) A blue police box appears on the formerly empty village green. As one may have gathered, this is no ordinary police box. This is the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space) a machine and yet so much more than a machine. The TARDIS sits on the green without any activity for what seems like hours yet is only a few minutes. Then the door opens and out steps what appears to be a young man ( Image of Dr Who (http://uktv.co.uk/images/standarditem/EX1/2860.jpg)) with a slightly confused expression on his face. He surveys his surroundings, getting his bearings before an expression of recognition appears on his face.
"Earth hey? And little old England no doubt." he says smiling. Earth is one of his favourite planets.
" I wonder what mischief I can get upto here.", he ponders.

The inside of the room is still and silent. The place is a clutter with stacks of papers, paintings adorn the walls, and various other items are strewn about. The flat is an organized mess that only the occupant of this flat could ever hope to decypher this secret organizational structure. Anyone else would be left sad and frustrated. Anyways, that's besides the point. In the dining room, which is nothing more than a weakly appearing table that si rather quaint in size which could accomadate no more than two people at either end. It's cramped next to the kitchen with a small dividing wall with an open space that allows one to easily move between.
At this table, a mess of red hair rests on the table, attached to that hair is a head crooked to the right and a bit of drool on a napkin. The rest of the body is slumped in the chair. On the table, three burnt out candles which long since extinguished. Plates of food sit scattered. Some sort of lamb with accompanying side dishes. The meal speaks of hard work coming from a woman who's life is less than easy. As she slumbers, a cup of tea rattles against it's saucer. The cold tea sloshes onto a pile of papers which are fighting for space on the cluttered table. Books fall from a bookcase and pound against the groud, alerting the woman who gasps up from her sleep. She looks at the tea and begins to cuss at the sight of spilled tea on already graded English papers she worked hard on finishing.
"Dammit!" She cusses and tries to dry off the papers. As she enters the kitchen, she looks back at the table and sighs at what could've been a quaint yet romantic evening.
There's a flash of light that sparks from outside, glowing through the fraile curtains. The woman walks over and parts the curtains but all falls dark and the ground stops shaking. Frustrated, she opens the window and sticks her head outside and listens to the now silent still night. Her blue eyes flicker from side to side, unable to see anything.
"What was that, Winston?" she asks a rather plump and less than lively cat that simply fixes her a groggy look of "Why are you talking to a cat?"
"It sure is strange happenings this evening. First, Dwight seems to forget about our dinner and fails to call!" her arms move wildly, frustrated with the previously said incident, "Now we have Earthquakes and light shows here! I'm going to investigate this nonsense" she convinces herself to grab her coat, a flashlight and enough courage to seek out what is happening.
As she descends down the stairs, Mrs.Jenkins emerges from her door in a night gown and a face full of that green stuff.
"What's going on Hannah?" Mrs.Jenkins asks, worring that something else is happening.
"Go back to bed Mrs.Jenkins" Hannah places a hand on each of her shoulders and bends down to eye level, "I'll go check on it"
"Do be careful, dear" Mrs.Jenkins warns and returns to her flat. Hanah walks out onto the side street where one of the lamps has gone out. She moves quietly out onto the main street and walks a block down and sees a wisp of smoke, albeit brief, waft into the air from the village green. seeing this clue, she turnson the flashlight and the beam sweeps from side to side, illuminating the green.

OOC: How exactly should I portray the vampire? Do I give an explicit accounting of all his acts, or what? I'll try that for now. Also, he doesn't have a name yet. i want someone else to give him one somehow.
The creature woke up, clawing through the rotting floorboards. He pulled himself up to find himself in a church.
What was he? He couldn't remember. Than something clicked in his head.
Revenge! He would have revenge on the descendants of those villagers who had locked him up for so long that he had forgotten his memory, that...
But he was forgetting again. he had already been through the fuming. he had already visited the village, already recruited two weak-minded lackeys. He really ought to visit one of them, the one called Eddie, to see if he could get any blood. the fool lived with two women, he recalled. It was a shame, he felt, that he could remember the lackey's name but not his own, though some blood should help him remember. But as he tried to exit the church, he reeled and collapsed. Too weak, he had to wait and be fed...

OOC; The TARDIS enters an area in a subtle way. No ground shaking and the like. However I'll let it slide for this time as it can be worked into the story.
IC: The man looks at the TARDIS. It didn't usually make all that commotion when materialising somewhere. There must've been a fault.
"Oh well. That'll wake up some of the villagers.", he says amusedly, "It appears to be the case." He continues as he spots a beam of light coming towards him and before long shining in his face.

Hannah nearly stumbles over a rock and manages to catch herself just as the light hit what she takes to be the figure of a young man. It is a brief snapshot before she stumbles again, awkwardly. A voice echoes in the darkness which causes her to jump up and yelp quietly. Hannah fumbles for the flashlight and it strikes the figure again.
"W-Who are you? What are you doing out here at this hour?" Hannah nervously asks, the light shakes a little. She stops and realizes her rudness after determining that its just a young man muttering about on the village green. "I'm sorry, my name is Hannah Jones" she offers a nervous smile, flicking some locks of hair from in front of her eye.

He groped around, wheezing, until he grabbed hold of something small. A rat! he quickly drained it and felt somewhat invigorated, enabling him to think. What should he do...
That infernal device! The "sell fone"! The one Eddie had left that emitted the horrible jingle and spoke with the disembodied voice of the one you wanted to talk to. Now, what was the number?
He dialed it and waited to hear Eddie.
"Please leave a message after the beep."
well, that never happened before. he might as well say something, though.
"Eddie, unless you want to say goodbye to any chance you ever had of living forever, get over he-"
He collapsed again.

"Are you one of those back-packing Americans?" Hannah inquires. She hates and admires this peculiar breed of travelers. For one, they are a stereotype and cause trouble wherever they go. Again, she also admires their wunderlust of sorts for wanting to experience Europe. Mrs.Jenkins holds nothing but contempt for them, a seeding hatred. The man appears handsome, his accent isn't American though.
"Well, yes...I mean no. Uh-I was kinda asleep" Hannah struggles to think of a clear answer.

"A back packer....I suppose I could be one of them, but certainly not American. Though the Americans are a funny lot aren't they? Very patriotic lot. Remind me of a few other peoples I've met....I myself have no true nationality. I live outside the norm as it were. I'm sorry to have woken you Hannah. I'm sure you'd like to go back to bed. Eddie had been woken by that sound- an earth tremor?- that caused his sister, Hannah to leave. He had been so preoccupied wondering what it was that he failed to hear his cell phone ringing. He had checked the phone and found that the master needed him, that creature that had enthralled him that night in the old church. This was the creature he stood before now.
"Your bidding my master?"

Eddie rushed home. He wasn't prepared for this. Usually he didn't have such short notice to find food for his master. As he entered the house, he noticed that Hannah was still out. He had to find someone fast, only not many villagers were on the streets at this time of night. A thought suddenly came to his mind, and he rushed down to that old bat Mrs Jenkins flat and strode through the door.
"Eddie" She said "What are you-"
She said no more as Eddie quickly knocked her unconscious. He swung the woman over his powerful shoulders and hurried back towards the church.
He stood before his master again and lay Mrs Jenkins at his feet.
"I am sorry master, this most unworthy sacrifice was all I could obtain tonight."

Hannah gazes over to the blue police box and scratches her ehad briefly. It seems rather strange that a police box be in the middle of a village green. Rewinding her memories, she can't remember a time when there was a police box at this current location.

He pounced on his victim and drank deeply, feeling invigorated with every swallow. By the end of his repast he could walk around without having to rest.
Now to get rid of the body. Last time he started, people grew suspicious when their cousins started biting them. he would not make the same mistake of putting another vampire on his turf.
"Dispose of the body," he commanded. "Make sure nobody finds it."

"Well...some people seem to think so. Is it crazy to travel and witness history? Crazy to change things for the better? Nope, it's just common sense and my purpose. I've seen the past, present and future....by the way avoid London in 2012, a lot of strange goings on. This is the TARDIS, both a vehicle and a companion. More powerful than anything on Earth...at this point in time anyway..."

"It'll take too long to explain everything about the TARDIS. It's so much more than a police box...well it's stuck as a police box, a kink I haven't been able to fix for quite some time. Not just time but the universe. I do love the humans way of trying to rationalise what they deem the irrational.
I know it looks small on the outside but amazing what technlogy can come up with isn't it?"

'What else would a police box be?" the question seems simple enough to her mind. A mysterious man referring himself as simply 'The Doctor' rambles on about a traveling police box. The night is certainly off by anyone's perspective. What am I doing out here in the middle of the night arguing about a police box?
Now he's talking about it being more than just a police box. Anyone can understand Hannah's skepticism on the notion. She casually and nonchalantly steps up to the door expecting to seeing nothing at all.
"W-What..." Hannah trails off, gaping into the interior of a police box that was by any definition a 'normal police box'. She jolts back, a shiver running up her spin and exploding her rationale, "What's going on here?!"
"I usually get that kind of reception. Confuses a lot of people a lot of the time. What you are witnessing is Time Lord technology and you are speaking to a being who has seen so much in his life, things that haven't even happened yet. Your brain tells you this is impossible but really anything is possible."
The Doctor loved his little philosophical speeches. Now he wondered how Hannah would take all this in. Some would accept, others would go mad with all the thought it took to accept such an explanation.

It's impossible! It's not real, tis isn't happening! She's still asleep in her dinning room, hopelessly waiting for Dwight to show up. There's no way she's standing here in the village green with a stranger and his even stranger police box which he claims is a traveling machine. Time Lord? What's a Time Lord? Some New Wave rock band? There must be some reasonable explanation for these freakish events.
"You write science fiction?" Hannah finally asks, having dropped the flashlight without even noticing, "I-I fancy myself a writer, this is some good stuff" Is she insane? Why isn't she running for the hills and crying for the bobbies?
He tried but the human mind can only take so much strain before it snaps like a twig and this one was on the verge of snapping. Humans always looked for a rational explanation even when they came face to face with something extraordinary....
"Yes very good stuff. Not the biggest fan of Sci Fi novels myself...actually I rarely have time to read anything...well on the occasion when I'm not doing other things which happens to be all the time.

IC: The vampire was happy. Undeath was good.
He felt that he ought to visit his old manor. Frrom what he had heard, it was still standing. But first he had to test his abilities and see if they were up to par.
First he morphed himself into a large wolflike creature. Surrendering to his impulses, he howled. Then he bounded away, not wanting to be found.
He morphed into a bat successfully. He then flew into the village to prepare for future activities.
He pulled out a map Eddie had drawn for him of the village. So far, he had only been invited into one house. He needed more.

The vampire was now pleased. A large party was being held by a local wealthy family, and, posing as the owner of the catering company, he had received permission to enter the house. Yes, it was officially only to deliver the food, but technically it still counted as an eternal invitation. He had to share this trick with the Union, when he made contact again.

The vampire settled down to rest in his old manor. Apparently it had become a tourist destination that had recently been shut down due to budget problems, making it uninhabited with his old stuff still in it. Perfect.
He went to the small graveyard, dug up the newest coffin he could see, evicted the owner and dumped him in the grave again, smoothed over the ground, and went back to his manor. He had planned to sleep in the chapel, as per the tradition of noble vampires, but nobody had desecrated it yet, and the holy symbols there drove him out. Apparently he wouldn't be benefiting from this whole "Protestant" phenomenon Eddie had mentioned a while ago, when he asked why the church was covered in dust.
Instead, he moved his coffin to the dungeon.

The vampire's dreams were replaying his last few centuries of pain. He couldn't stop them- they had done this for days. Fought in the Third Crusade, buried, betrayed by his people, locked in the coffin with a crucifix and tossed in the sea, paining and hungry for so long...
He snarled and woke up, putting his head clear through the lid of his coffin. Maybe he should stay up for a while.
He toured his castle, looking at the tourist information. "The Vampire Legend", one paper read. He grabbed and read it, intrigued. So people didn't believe anymore? That would make quietly controlling them easier. Well, some still believed, but they were ignored. The various explanations for his apparent "madness" angered him, though.
Then, as he went to a tower to fume, he realized something. Eddie had a sister. However, when he had waltzed into Eddie' house at the hour which was early for him but late for humans, there was no one home. Where had she been? This warranted looking into.
Eddie crept as silently as he could behind the pair. They had moved through the village green and were now approaching the church where his master lived. His heart raced. What if they discovered the master? They could ruin everything. Raising himself up to his full height he tried to look as intimidating as he could as he called "Hey!, you've got no business in there!"
"Well well well. This whole situation is becoming quite weird. Who are you? The last time I checked, this was a public space which means anyone can come here at anytime. It'll be a couple of centuries until a Big Brother government is fully installed in the UK and then you'll be controlled on where you may visit. I'm just at the church for a midnight prayer....though I don't believe in a God...Hmm.."

"So to sum up this night is quite strange.
1) A wolf howl is heard. That sound is out of place in Modern Day Britain especially near a small village.
2) A woman goes missing on this very night that a wolf howl is heard.
I've had a similar experience to this. Queen Victoria became the target of a werewolf in Scotland in her later years. So we're looking for a living myth, at this moment in time that could be a werewolf. Tell me Eddie, why were you hiding in that bush?"

Something was quite wrong, the vampire knew. He was going to put off investigation but the last time he did that, the mistake had cost him several centuries of his time.
Turning into a bat, he flew over to the church. He saw an angry Eddie talking to his sister, who seemed to have learned about the woman, and a strange man. Taking care to stay behind their heads and hiding behind clouds, he silently flew away. He let no one see him, not even Eddie. He had not yet established himself well enough in this town to be able to resist an attack perfectly. Maybe he could seek sanctuary with the Union in Eastern Europe and call Eddie on the "sell phone" to deliver orders. Anyway, he would remain at the castle for now, and call Eddie for a full report later.
Lucifer save him, he already loved that infernal device...

"Hiding?"
How did he know that! There's more to this man than he fist thought. The master would want to know of this as soon as possible. Something about the way this man was staring at made him feel uncomfortable, as if he knew what Eddie was thinking.
"Look, I don't know anything about that damn wolf, you hear?!" Eddie turned and strode away as as fast as he could. That stranger scared him.

The vampire searched the castle again, this time scrounging for old armor and weapons. He found plenty, but then the sun rose, and he retreated to the dungeon. He called Eddie's "sell phone", praying that the it was set to vibrate again.

Had to do some homework for this one. Thank goodness for youtube! I just got done watching the old Hartnell Episode in which the Daleks follow the Doctor (John Hartnell), Ian and Vickie (and one other companion) around through time trying to kill them. From this, I learned enough about Dalek Time Machines to be able to write about one that was bodged together so that it almost worked. Hopefully, the description will seem familiar and yet not so. The sound of this Time Machine appearing is the precise reverse of the one used in the episode. It started low and went high; this one starts high and gets lower. (It's still annoying either way, though--typical Daleks!) :) :) :)
------------------------------------
IC:
Not far from the Doctor, a rather unusual thing happened. First, there was a strange sound--it was rather high pitched in general, but it started really high and got quickly lower. It came literally out of nowhere--there was nothing to make it. It echoed once, and then a strange, round little ship just fazed into existence. It was an insubstantial little thing--shaped sort of like a giant pinwheel, with a round top and bottom and four walls, set in the shape of a cross, that stretched between them. There was a door on one of the walls. Though it seemed physically impossible, the door opened inward--right, it seemed, through the other side of the wall--and smoke poured out. There was a loud coughing noise coming from inside.
"Ohhh, get me out of there!" said a man's voice. "I can't stand another breath!"
"A-no-ther fine mess you've made," said a thin, synthesized, mechanical-sounding voice, also from inisde. "Here--let me help you."
In a moment, two figures emerged. One was obviously humanoid. He was of average height and medium build--there seemed to be very little interesting about him at all. It was his companion that would garner all the attention.
It stood about the same height as he did--but it was not humanoid. Rather, a stalk-like, mechanical eye poked out of a round head with a light sticking out the top on either side of it. Its dome-like "head" ended in a torso--if you could call it that, because the thing had no neck--that held what appeared to be a large stick and on one side and a plunger on the other--both pointing forward. Beneath that, what looked like a metal skirt, peppered with bubbles of some other metal, reached to the ground, where a dark base served to give it motion.
The man unwrapped his arms from the metal monstrosity, turned and, not noticing the others, regarded his companion warmly.
"El'breth," he said, "sometimes I don't know what I'd do without you." He reached down and gently kissed its "forehead."
"YUCK!" it exclaimed in its flat sort of voice, squirming until he backed away. "Hu-man germs! Now I will have to spend an en-tire day cleaning just to get rid of the stain!"
The Doctor heard the noise and watched as something came into view. His eyed opened wider in disbelief as he took in the scene in front of him.
"Another TARDIS?! A Dalek?! And another.....Time Lord? This is impossible! All the other Time Lords died in the Time War against the Daleks! I only survived through sheer luck! What the hell is going on?!"
The thought that another Time Lord was alive was hard enough to take in, a Time Lord working with a Dalek, was almost impossible to take in.

Eddie didn't respond. Bad things were coming, the vampire knew. It was time to flee. And so he did. He turned into a bat and left for London. So what if he were breaking the tradition of sleeping during the day. Things were getting desperate, and he would be away before something too dangerous happened. He texted a message to Eddie saying where he was going. It was time to flee for asylum in Eastern Europe, the ancient stronghold. If Eddie were smart, he would come too. And even if he were a traitor, the vampire wouldn't be around for the backlash anyway.

* The "Dalek" not only saved a humanoid from death (the Dalek urge to kill is too strong for this to happen), but THEN allowed the self-same humanoid to kiss it. The humanoid didn't instantly catch on fire.

Jordan snapped to attention. He had been so busy thinking about the smoke in his time machine that he hadn't even noticed that there were people there right behind him!
"T-time Lord?" he stammered. "What's that? Some guild of some sort? Sound like a humble lot, they do. I'm just a truly humble Intergalactic Engineer, sir! If I have to do something to get certified, just let me know and I'll file the papers forthwith." He turned to regard the man who had spoken. "Of course, if they all died in this war of yours, --."
"Jordan, please be quiet," said the Dalek. It turned, and as it did, it became obvious that what should have been its Dalek gun was, in fact, a metal claw hand. It became obvious because this "hand" came gently to rest on Jordan's shoulder. "The Time Lords are a race of humanoid time/space travelers."
It turned to the Doctor. "I am El'breth and this is Jordan," it said. "Can you tell us where and when we are?"

"Vladmir Bathory."

The vampire touched down on Notre Dame. He then swooped over to a dingy side alley which was definitely not in the Marais. Knocking on a door, he received an answer.
"Who is it?"
The old password would have to do. "A disowned son."
He heard whispering, which included the words "centuries old", "outdated, and "hunter or spy". Hearing footsteps behind him, he turned but was struck a human lackey with a crucifix and a gun and fell to the ground. A vampire then stood over him, holding a dagger.
"Back off," he said to the lackey. Then, "who are you?" Before he could answer, his interrogator gasped. "Satan below, it's that knight! The former underboss of England! His picture is under 'Presumed Truly Dead' in the archives." He struck the lackey. "Idiot, why did you attack him?"
"I just want to see Vladmir Bathory and get a safe job- any position- outside of England," said the English vampire. "I'm being pursued."
The head of Paris then asked for descriptions of his attackers. The lackey drew pictures of them and put them on their members-only website, www.eurocabal.net.
