Rotovia-

OOC: I have decided to revive On The Issues because of its previous popularity as an on-going roleplay. OTI is a panel-commentary news program set in Rotovia, that focuses on international news (it is assumed that the show enjoys significant overseas syndication). News will be drawn from stories in the top pages of II and NS, and nations involved will be invited to nominate guest panelists (a link will be provided to the thread covered). OTN has previously proven a great tool to expand the depth of roleplaying, as well as promote roleplays featured.

Resident Panelists:
Name: Countess Angela Bacchus-Wright (Dr Wright)
Political Affiliation: Conservative
Bio: A rising star in the conservative movement (the Rotovian Conservative Party which was thought to have a stranglehold of politics during the 1980s & 1990s has been relegated to a minor third party), former lecturer of political science, member of same House as former President, Emperor Bacchus and author of "How the Liberals Poisoned Athens"
Name: Baroness Sarah Hours (Dr Hours)
Political Affiliation: Liberal
Bio: Hailed as a patriot during the Rotovian Civil Conflict (which forced the Emperor, then President, into exile for a number of months), though heavily criticised during her single term as President. Dr Hours represents social liberal faction of the party which challenged the "blue guard" faction of classical liberals
Name: Sir Peter Arthington
Political Affiliation: Republican
Bio: Popular radio personality, and militant secularist, Mr Arthington is an outspoken critic of all forms of Rotovian establishment and famously spent four months in prison for refusing the draft.
