Background:
Arcadia Nova was founded fifty years ago under the auspices of the Arcadian Foundation, a corporation descended from North American lobby groups. Over the next fifty years the continent was colonized by a range of settlers from around the world, attracted by Arcadia Nova's libertarian principles and a chance for a new life. The economy is expanding rapidly in all sectors, although agriculture and resource extraction remain predominant.
