Still think that its too early, and besides, you might scare away some of the heavier drinkers with the AA talk... ;)

(EDIT: Damn you Prux and your timewarps!!!!!)

Following its successful bid for World Cup 37, the Football Federation of Ad'ihan would like to announce the AA bid for the 32nd Cup of Harmony, to take place following World Cup 40. Our bid partners will be from the nation of Acapais.

Let's run through the details:
Scorination and RP bonus
Scorination will take place daily, using whichever edition of NationStates FootySim happens to be the most stable at the time of the start of the tournament.

RP bonus will be calculated through the spreadsheet made by my World Cup 37 co-host, Novapsolu/Legalese, for that tournament. It is cumulative and will take into account every matchday that has already been played, with older RPs earning less bonus as time wears on.

Format
We will be happy to work with 16 (4 x 4), 24 (4 x 6) or 32 (8 x 4) teams, although adjustments can be made to deal with difficult numbers. In the prior two scenarios, the top two teams from each group would move on to the quarter finals; in the latter scenario the top two teams from each group qualify for the last sixteen. From this point onwards it will be a straight knockout to the final.

Team modifiers
Teams will be allowed to select a modifier to suit their IC style of play, within the NSFS-recommended ranges of -5 (very defensive) to +5 (very attacking). Teams will include this modifier with their roster post; if one is not provided, it will be taken as 0 (neutral).

Past hosting experience (aka why you should vote for us)
Ad'ihan (and the user behind this nation) has hosted/scorinated World Cups 22 and 37, as well as various BoFs, CoHs, side invitationals, club tournaments and non-football related tournaments.

Acapais, meanwhile, has not hosted any major tournament of note. However, the Cup of Harmony has traditionally, along with the Baptism of Fire, been a starting point for new hosts looking for some experience before handling the big one, the World Cup. Daehanjeiguk is a good example of this, hosting CoH 31 as his first major tournament. It provides a good learning opportunity for potential future hosts.

As such, I would encourage everyone to give Acapais this chance and support the AA bid for the 32nd Cup of Harmony.

Thank you.
