The Head Sultan has allowed for the third most powerful position and all ministers to be democraticly chosen. The grand Vizer would rule for seven years. Initial polls show that the Heir to The Throne Sinan Kose is the most popular candidate as the leader of the Royal Party and at the Age of 15 he will be the youngest Grand Vizer ever in the position. also as 200 Seats are availible a Party needs only 5% of a Provinces (20 Seats Each) to be put into the Vizer Race.

3 Main Candidates:
Royal Party: Prince Sinan Kose
Total Support: 85%

Christian Independance party: Father Kommenus
Total support: 5%
Quote: "I want Doovde... and Independence for Konzantine"

Turkoman Nationalist Party: Alp Arslan

the Minor parties and Independants will be looking to break this initial poll. So the Island takes One step towards Democracy.

Major losses for Prince
In a recent shock anouncement Sinan Kose has said that he will shift power away from Kose towards the 8 Turkomans and grant more autonomy to Konzantine and so has formed a new Coalition party but has lost alot of support of the Kosenic Turkish Majority and it is now a 5 candidate race for example the polls from the Bulutbey province:

Coalition: 55%
Nationalist: 5%
Comuinist: 20%
Democratics: 10%
Army: 10%

and with all the Parties looking for foreign endorsement however most people are unconcerned with the affairs of a large Island Hybrid empire democracy with a large army

Kose Votes confidence in Prince
with the first provincial voting finished and tallied Sinan Kose has made his first political victory Results broken down:
Coalition: 45% (9 seats)
Nationalists: 15% (3)
Army 15% (3)
Commuinist: 10% (2)
Other: 10% (2)

at this time it apears Sinan will hold a large majority over other parties however the divisions of votes could hinder his campaign for Grand Vizer as he needs parliaments approval.

Mehmetbey provice says NO! to Sinan
The results from Mehmetbey have resulted in "Comrade" Ibrahim in gaining a majority seat for the comuinists as only 3 parties got voted:

Coalition: 40% (8)
Green: 5% (1)
And the culmative seats are:
Coalition: 17
Comuinist: 13
Nationalist: 3
Army: 3
Green: 2
Kuraybi: 1
and with 8 more provinces to go if things continue like this the Comuinists may well have very chance of removing the monarchy, whereas if Sinan wins he will be the most powerful man in the nation and would be able to overule any laws made by his father the Sultan.
