O-to-the-O-to-the-C:

Hey guys, cheers for stopping by. Have a brownie, I baked them fresh!

Anyway, yeah, I know this idea has been done before - I believe there have been 3 or 4 reincarnations of the NSF1 event, starting about 2003. I ran one in 2005 which went quite well, but required way too much effort on my part and ran on way too long. I was basically hoping to organise and run another season.

First off, do I do it F1 or Sportscars? I amn't sure, and wan't to make this as popular as possible.

And probably the most important bit is the scorinator. I would need serious help with this - I'm probably going to telegraph some of the more prominent sports organisers on NS to see if I can get some help. Is there anyone that can help me with this? My old scorinator took way too long to get calculate.

And finally, can I have a roll call of interested parties?

Thanks guys.

I'd be interested. There were a couple of working seasons under the title "World Grand Prix Championships" run by Casari, then myself and Bostopia, but it's been dead a while. Casari should still have his racinator, you should ask him about that.

I, ironically enough, just rebuilt said scorinator in a fashion that isn't entirely confusing in the hopes of restarting some kind of motorsports event, the only question being whether it would be an open wheels, sportscars, bikes, or some kind of bizzare multi-format stuff.

I love motorsports, so I'd participate with Estive Formoso as a driver again. For me any kind of motorsports would interest me, although I'd prefer F1 or motorbikes.

I'd be good on most anything other than stock cars, myself- most any format, too, although long-distance motorcycle enduros probably are less interesting to everyone else than the potentially are for me. :p

I participated in the one which has been dead for over half a year. I liked it although I was disappointed that it died. I think it was stock cars although I don't know for sure.

Well, Casari, is there any chance I could get my hands on the scorinator?

I'd love to run some form of F1 event, just to get the wheels off the ground as it were. However, if I amn't yet trusted or you'd rather do it yourself, thats fine - I'm happy as long as theres some form of motorsport!

Thanks guys. By the way, I think F1 would be the most universally popular, though we could poll it if you want.

It could still use a bit of hammering on testingwise, it's based on the 3-statistic system used in the previous F1GP/WGPC series, and is written in excel, but if you'd like to play around it a bit, just send me a TG saying where to send it.

I just don't like F1 lately, to be honest, which makes me a bit averse to it. That and I have a natural attraction to all the weird events and odd, obscure rules.

Well, I'd certainly be interested. I'm pretty much open for a lot of motorsports, but F1 or something like touring cars/DTM or even Le Mans 24H would interest me most.

Expect my Monteluci Squadra Forze Sportive team to join, anyways. There's been a new F1 engine laying around on their shelves for a while, and I can't wait to use it.

EDIT: And expect my safety cars and medical vehicles to be offered to the organisation again, too.

I'd be interested in an F1-type competition. I'm not a big fan, but I do enjoy and try to watch most of the races.

Being a strong fan and follower of F1 for many years I would be interested in participating in this both as a team and as a host to at least one of the races.

Hmmm.

Theres considerable support for both Le Mans style races and F1. I'd probably go with F1 I'm afraid, just due to overall worldwide popularity and the fact I know more about that than F1.

After discussion with Casari it looks like I'll be hosting this one. I'll TG him to get the racinator, and when I get something going, I'll be sure to text you all.

Thanks.

I'd be joining the F1.

Just so you know, the scorinator won't be providing political BS, so you'll have to generate that yourself. :p

That's sad though- despite my desire to do some kind of racing series, basing something on F1 was more or less my second-to-last choice. That being said, my awesome sports-car inspired models shall rule the day.

Don't get too confident, Cas... :p

Monteluci will be powerful enough to sneak up from behind and let you fight for that win ;)

It really should be based on A1

It really should be based on A1

No, why should it? Different countries have different tech specifications and this will affect a team's car and RP. To make everyone's car the same will only hamper RP in this aspect.

I can see the logic in A1, but it would make playability even more random than normal. Anyhoo, I'd be interested.

I'll be interested in anything single-seater, TBH.
