WorldVision 5 Signups (open to all)

So, once again this is baisically like eurovision. Same basic structure, although this is on NS, and nations of any region can join. If you do not know what Eurovision is, you can find info on it here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision).
How does this work: Everyone signs up in this thread, like you do for a world cup (simple "we sign up" post, or an intricate RP if you really must). Then we will have 2 RP threads, the national finals and the contest. In the national finals, posts shold give a description of the national final, and show the title of the nation's song and its artist. In the contest, everyone posts their show. This should include what happens on the stage and that kind of stuff, and must include the lyrics, unless you post a video, wich gives you the ultimate nerd award, or post an MP3, which will put you close to getting the ultimate nerd award. Do not use artists/songs that exist in RL (parodies are okay, as long as enough is changed). Voting will be done IC, so you shoulld post your votes in the thread at that time, the way its done in eurovision ( giving the best songs (in your opinion) points, the best 12, second best 10, then next 8, then 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1.

If this bid is successful, WorldVision will be held in the 40,000 seater National Stadium. The stadium is located on the outskirts of the city, with a new motorway designed specifically to handle all stadium traffic, and public transport and hotels are due to be completed soon. The stadium is also a ten minute walk from the Quinntan Valley shopping centre. Any facilities (within reason) will be made available for the competition.
The Democratic Republic wishes to enter the WorldVision Song Contest
If we are chosen to host the contest, We will do so in Khenas National Stadium, a newly built stadium in Khenas City. Located in the city centre, the stadium is only a short walk away from the city's central station, and reaching the stadium from the airport is also not expected to be a problem. The stadium's normal capacity is 65000 people, although placing the stage will lower the capacity for the contest.
The contest itself will most likely be a one-round competition, but a two-round structure may be used if more than 25 nations are signed up. It will be held on a stage designed for visibility, representation of Khenas, and inclusion of many electionic features (Lights, Screens, etc), and will have popular Khenian songs presented between selected entries. However, we do not plan to include any plays, movie scenes, or anything in that category.

On consideration, Cachette de Lions has decided to launch a host bid. This might be our first WorldVision, but it seems as good a time as any for the city of Jeansité-sur-Blanche to show the world the revamped Riverside Arena, now capable of seating 50,000. Whilst not the national capital, Jeansité-sur-Blanche is most assuredly the cultural capital of the nation and already has a vibrant music scene which, astoundingly, seems to have gone totally unnoticed by the rest of the world. This is our chance to show the world its hidden musical gems have been found, all in one place. The arena will be the host for the national final so will already be more than well-equipped. Add that to the fantastic cosmopolitan aspects of the city, with great hotels, restaurants, and boutiques within close distance of Riverside Arena and great music of all genres found everywhere you look, Jeansité-sur-Blanche is the obvious choice for host of WorldVision 5.

The arena is packed with fans of Cachettian band Freelance Scientist

Yes, if you take Swilatia seriously you will feel upset, but if you do not then you will laugh very hard.
Or at least I do.

"Probably wise sir because no one has ever told you this before because they were drunk... but you can't sing..."
