ONCE AGAIN

It is time for Baseball to hold the World Baseball Classic.

Az-cz's three year reign finally ended at the bats of Vephrall in the Quarterfinals, but in the end Milchama took home it's first WBC Championship beating Corneliu 3-1 in the final.

So can Milchama begin a run to match Az-cz's? Will the Gnomes bounce back and take home a 4th title? Or will some other team jump up and bring home the gold? Only one way to find out, and that's to sign-up...NOW!

since this is your 1st appearance in the WBC, you do not have a rank availble. So your starting value is less than the ranked teams. It's primarily used for the scorinator, which determines the scores of the matches you'll play.

Please do not take this the wrong way, but we've had a couple of newbies try to host this before (WBC's 1 and 4) and I had to take over due to the previous hosts lack of enthusiasm. Scorination is not all just posting random numbers (like i think the last host probably did), it's more complicated than that and unless you have hosted sporting events here before, I'm not going to accept a host bid from them. Sorry.

On to other things... I would like to get at least 1 more team (for a total of 16). but if needed i can get by with 15. I'm going to contact some people who've participated before and see if they'll sign up.

I now have a mininum number of teams to make this tourney viable. So the Sign-up cutoff will be on Sunday, Jan 20th at 11:00pm EST.

I am interest in WBC! I'm new at this kind of thing but I have played baseball and have extreme knowledge in it.

The Commonweath of Tazford would like in, with its best players playing as the Tazford Tabby Cats.

Not a problem. My guess is that sometime in Late Feb/Early March will be the next one (as not to conflict with the NS World Cup)

Using video games to come up with scores is highly frowned upon.

Zwang You misunderstood me. WBC 6 probably won't start until after the next World Cup. WBC 5 is going to start BEFORE World Cup 39. (And probably will be done just before it starts.. hopefully)
