Inya Government Overthrown
Official Press Release from the Inya Ministry of Information
Today the supreme oligarch of Inya, Princess Verita, and her cabinet have been overthrown by the Sakura Revolutionary Force (SRF) and abdicated at 13:17 this afternoon (Inya East Time). The SRF position is that the policy of strict pacifism propagated by Verita and her predecessors, Princess Mandie and Prince Natos have placed the nation in severe danger of losing the rights we hold dear. An incident under the rule of Princess Mandie calling for the disarmament of all nations nearly caused the nation to be invaded by four others until another nation declared they would stand in to protect Inya. The SRF will not sit idly watching our people become lazy and then slaves.
The new government will be headed by Comrade Protector Mitsuki Narita, who has led the revolution for the past 2 years since the death of her brother Hiroshi from the forces of the oligarchy. The chosen cabinet will be:
Information Minister - Hitten Taraxen
War Minister - Ryuji Sakamoto
Economics Minister - Yin Li
Environment Minister - Tara Malakov
Foreign Affairs Minister - Lily Aida
Transport Minister - Demetze Lun
In addition, the upcoming elections will be postponed indefinitely until the new government establishes order. The office of Comrade Protector and all sub-departments will not be elected, however, but chosen on merit and dedication rather than the hereditary rule seen previously. Regional prefecture governors will continue to be elected as before once elections are resumed.
We are committed to continuing our nation's great tradition of economic equality, and plan to support a culture of involvement rather than isolation and end the reactive pacifism with increased military production, so that the dictatorship of the proletariat may reach worldwide and bring true peace.
Sakura susume! Hail Inya!

Speaking in Qazox the Sorthern Northlandish President, The Dear Comrade President Ben O'Bagels released this statement:
I welcome the news that revolutionary forces in The Sakura Socialist Republic of Inya have recently seized power from the previous regime of hereditary leaders. To hear that the proletariat are now in power there is especially pleasing, and although we ourselves prefer a form of democratic rule, we understand that sometimes you must have a dictatorship of the proletariat before you can bring true democracy to the people. As a socialist nation we support and look forward to the success of Inya. However this success can not be bought apart without help from other nations. Imperialism is simply too big a foe to take on without joining with other socialists. It is for that reason then that I, as President of Sorthern Northland and on the behalf of the Sorthern Northland people would like to invite our comrades in Inya to our land for discussion and looking into what we can do, as socialist nations to spread socialism and bring justice to the working people of the world.
His Imperial Majesty Alexi Stravoski, Zhar of Benuhal went on record today saying:
I am shocked an appalled by the brutality shown by the Sakura Revolutionary Force. If diplomatic talks had taken place I am sure, no certain Princess Verita and her cabinet would have found a peaceful resolution to their problems. Instead I hear tales of children being ripped from their bed, babies stolen from their mother's arms and men being gunned down in the street.
Although Beunhal will continue diplomatic talks with the new Inya government it will be keeping an eye on it's activities. I also announce that Benuhal will be opening it's borders for those seeking sanctuary from this new regime.

Official Statement of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Syndicalist Union of Okanaman Unity (SUOU)
The Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune of Okanama City supports the overthrow of the feudal regime of Princess Verita by the workers, students and farmers of Inya, and, wishes to immediately give recognition to this new government.
Also, the Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune of Okanama City is willing to provide economic assistance to this new government, to the extent that it is possible, if it can prove that it meets this requirement; All properties and the means of production must be put in the hands of the Inyan working class, otherwise, we must say, the term, "Dictatorship of the Proletariat (Working Class)", would be meaningless.
Should this be proven, the Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune of Okanama City would like begin the necessary steps to make the economic assistance that it is willing to give, practically, in accordance with Inya's current economic conditions.
Sincerely,
The Delegates of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Syndicalist Union of Okanaman Unity.

The Dear Comrade President Ben O'Bagels, had just finnished a training session with the Sorthern Northland football team, and walked into his hotel room. He took a moment to get himself comfortable and then looked up at his aide.
"Any news on the Inya situation?" he asked.
The aide replied, "Yes Sir, The Anarcho-Syndicalist Commune of Okanama City have come out in support of the revolutuion,"
"Excellent." commented the President.
"But I'm afraid that The Rogue Nation of Benuhal have been less supporting, here's a transcript of a statement released by their head of state." The aide said whilst handing over a piece of paper.
"Hmm, these are some very serious claims what do you know of them?"
"Imperialist lies sir."
"Doesn't surprise me at all. Well I'm going to write down a counter statement, could you give it to a spokesman to read out for me?"
"Of course, Sir."
So he sat down and the desk in the room, grabbed a pen and wrote;
Dear Working People of the world.
I'm sure you are all aware of and celebrating the revolutionary victory of the working peoples in Inya just a few days ago. I am delighted to say that along with ourselves, another nation, Okanama City have pledged their support to the revolutionary forces. However it has also come to my attention that the monarch of Benuhal, appears to be rather confused about the situation. In a statement he released he said he was concerned about reports of, and I quote, "I am shocked an appalled by the brutality shown by the Sakura Revolutionary Force. I hear tales of children being ripped from their bed, babies stolen from their mother's arms and men being gunned down in the street."
Shocking reports indeed. I would like to remind Alexi Stravoski that this was a revolution of the Proletariat, which was administered by the Sakura Revolutionary Force and not the Imperialist armies. If anyone was to rip children from their beds or shoot done innocents in the street then it would be the Imperialists and not the Proletariat. The new regime in Inya is one for the people, by the people, not one for the greedy by the greedy. I would like to remind my counterpart in Benuhal that these Imperialist lies of his are unacceptable and should he pursue his current stance, we, the government of Sorthern Northland, shall be looking into what action we can take against these aggressors. However we would like to thank the government of Benuhal for recognising the new regime as the legitimate government of Inya and for continuing to pursue diplomatic relations.
Workers of the world, unite.
Ben O'Bagels, President of The Eastern Westlands of Sorthern Northland.
Telos-Peragus

The Ruler of Telos-Peragus, Dino Telon, addressed his people on this issue today.
It is sad that some governments treat their people so sadly that they must rebel. I am announcing that we will recognize the new regime immediately, and insure that the entire nation backs the government in whatever way. We wish for the best.
Upon reading the papers that were handed him, Alexi could not help but grimace.
"They are really try really trying to rattle our cage," he said to himself scanning the statement once more,"doubting our credibility at such a tense time."
Lifting himself from his chair he turned and said to his secretary,"I need to address the world, make the arrangements as soon as is humanly possible."
-later that morning-
Today outside the palace His Imperial Imperial Majesty addressed his subjects along with TV crews from around the known world.
Dear citizens of the world,
I am here to address the accusations made by Comrade President Ben O'Bagels of The Eastern Westlands of Sorthern Northland. My last remarks about the brutality of the SRF were comments referring to the treatment of loyalists' families an supporters but, such is war, and I find my anger misplaced.
I have found the new Government treats its citizens with the utmost respect and honor. Even so I propose a unit of soldiers be sent form each of our countries to support the stabilization of the countries infrastructure.
Benuhal, also the requests the withdrawal of of the statement "Imperialist lies" be struck from the official records. Benuhal is in no way Imperialistic. In fact, Benuhal's Zhar or Zharzina is elected by a council of members who are elected officials of the seven recognized tribes of Benuhal. He/She is in office for their life or are deemed unsuitable by the council.
Sorthern Northland
28-12-2007, 22:31
It was a cool, balmy day in Beningrad. The square outside the Palace of the Workers was filled with thousands of people. Possibly even hundreds of thousands. They were there to see the President give his latest speech. He had returned early from the OXEN Cup to deal with the Inya situation, and to no ones surprise that is what the speech dealt with much.
"People of Sorthern Northland, Good Morning.
First of all, I would like to issue an apology to the people and government of Benuhal. It has come to my attention that the description I gave of Benuhal being imperialistic was wrong and I can only apologise for any offence my statement may have caused. However I am arfraid I cannot comply with their request that the "Imperialist lies" statement be removed from official records. However we will edit the records to show that I have apologised for the remark and that we recognise that this was an inaccurate discription. It is imperative though that we do make sure the truth is reported around the world, whether that be in a socialist state, an imperialistic state or any other state.
Speaking on the issue of the alleged brutality of the SRF, my sources assure me they have not taken any action against any random citizens. However they cannot confirm whether any possibly brutal action has been taken against the former rulers families or loyalists to the previous regime. It has to be accepted that some skirmishes will take place between the SRF and them but I hope that the necessary action has been taken against them. Only form of brutality or torture is strongly condemned by our government and we will seek to make sure it does not happen.
The final issue of which I wish to speak of on this topic today is that of the joint task force to be sent to Benuhal to make sure the changeover is a stable and smooth one. We agree that sending a small unit of soldiers from our two nations may well be one of the ways in which we can help Inya progress. However we must make sure that this is what Inya wants otherwise we will effectively be entering in a hostile manner. Should the government of Inya agree that this will be a helpful track to follow then we will be more than happy to support and join Benuhal in such an operation."
Foreign Minister Lily Aida arrived at the podium for the press conference as scheduled at 12:47 Inya West Time to address concerns regarding the new government and report on recent progress since the announcement.
"After three days of fighting, the armies of the SRF have been able to quell most of the resistance and have restored order in the majority of our major cities. There is still some violence occuring in Valancia Prefecture, near our Western border, however, we expect this to be resolved soon, hopefully within the next week."
Linchom Sa, a reporter from the independent Intasia News Agency, notably asked during the conference "Why are elections currently suspended, and when can we expect for them to resume? And why aren't the highest offices elected at all? My concern is that the new government has become nothing more than a dictatorship that will ignore the voice of the public."
"To secure the future peace and prosperity of our people," Ms Aida responded, "it may be necessary to reduce political freedoms at times. For too long we as a nation have become complacent, allowing corrupt government officials to manipulate the government for their own means, sending off our wealth to appease foreign powers, and secure a life of luxury for themselves at the expense of the working class. In addition, our military continues to be severly underfunded, placing our great nation in danger. Had we simply gone through the democratic process, it is likely this cycle would have continued for many more years without resolution. Our goals are to allow self-detemination of the people, and over time we hope to restore more offices to democratic control. As for a specific time frame, however, we can not and will not promise anything."
"How do you address concerns of bloodshed caused by the SRF personnel?" asked Sa.
"With any revolution, you can expect there to be death and violence. It is inevitable, because many are reactionary and resist change. However, our sources indicate that the death toll of civilians only stands at two hundred twelve at the moment, far less than we had expected. While we hope for a peaceful solution, sometimes the worst can not be avoided."
The conference wrapped up after about an hour of questions, primarily about arms manufacturing and foreign treaties, at 13:52. While he was leaving, Sa was approached by two stone-faced men in dark uniforms, who warned him not to ask too many questions that may be counterrevolutionary in nature. He answered with a simple affirmative "yes" and walked away, shaking a bit from fear.
The Minister of Defense, Dalons Traalspoke, answered questions about the current state of The Sakura Socialist Republic of Inya after the re-opening of the St. Marlis bridge.
Currently we are waiting for the ok to be given by the leaders of Inya to our allied military to enter the country.
A reporter of the Miccan Times asked: Sir? Is it true the loyalists have established a base in Valancia Prefecture and are are currently holding position against the SRF
No comment was his response before being guided towards his personal car.
"What is taking so long it's been a week since the letter was sent.," Alexi said aloud to his secretary.
"Maybe they haven't received the offer yet sir," She responded
"My ambassador to Inya has also gone missing. How do you explain that one?" He replied.
They sat in silence for a couple of moments before Alexi said,"Send a letter to Comrade President Ben O'Bagels."
She turned to start typing
Dear, Comrade President Ben O'Bagels
I suggest a reconnaissance team of mixed alliegence be sent to the Valancia Prefecture in Inya. I hope to keep this mission of the official records because I fear that foul play is rampant in the new government. Two days past my ambassador disappeared in that area an I fear for her safety. I have received reports that a loyalist group still holds power in the area. The people of Benuhal and Sorthern Northland would like to hear the other side of this revolution.
Sincerely,
His Imperial Majesty Alexi Stravoski

The Comrade, President Ben O'Bagels, stood up from his desk, and looked out of the window, across, Beningrad, illuminated by the street lights.
"Something wrong Sir?", his PA asked him.
"Yes Laura. Inya.", he replied softly.
"What is it? You worried they may have killed more citizens than they admit?"
"No it's not that, I believe them when they say it's only just over two hundred."
"So what is it then?"
"Well, nothings happened really, has it? Well apart from that press conference but apart from that, nothing. I hoped to have from them personally by now."
"Yeah I can see that's frustrating... oh hold on, I'm getting a message."
"Who from?"
"It's from Benuhal Sir."
"Why does everyone call me Sir. This is a government of the people not the gentry. I wish people would just call me Ben or Comrade."
"Er right, well do you want to know what it says Si.. erm Comrade?"
Ah yes sorry, go on."
"Dear, Comrade President Ben O'Bagels
I suggest a reconnaissance team of mixed alliegence be sent to the Valancia Prefecture in Inya. I hope to keep this mission of the official records because I fear that foul play is rampant in the new government. Two days past my ambassador disappeared in that area an I fear for her safety. His Imperial Majesty Alexi Stravoski
Shall I write a reply then?"
"Yes of course."
"Ok so what should it say?"
"Dear, His Imperial Majesty, Alexi Stravoski
Thank you for getting in contact. Whilst I am not happy about sending in a reconnaissance team without the permission of Inya, the lack of communication with them gives me no other option. Although I do not agree with your fear of foul play in the new government, I do agree that this mission should be kept as secret as possible. So I am prepared to send a group of our top agents into the country on a mission to rescue your nations ambassador. I would also like to know what other purposes you have for the mission if any, as we may not be able to help with other any other goals. That leaves me with one final question, what are the numbers of personnel you would need from out two nations?
Yours Faithfully,
The Dear Comrade Ben O'Bagels, President of Sorthern Northland."
"Right well, I've got it typed up, so if you could just sign it, I'll make sure it gets to Benuhal."
"Excellent work, thanks Laura."
Alexi's long and boring with the Council representative of the Taal tribe was interrupted by the beeping of his personal computer.
"I'm sorry councilwoman, I must stop this riveting conversation for today."
The Taalian woman bowed and was escorted from the room by two Red Raven guardsmen.
Sitting back in his seat, Alexi looked at the official email sent by President O'Bagles. It read:
Dear, His Imperial Majesty, Alexi Stravoski
Thank you for getting in contact. Whilst I am not happy about sending in a reconnaissance team without the permission of Inya, the lack of communication with them gives me no other option. The Dear Comrade Ben O'Bagels, President of Sorthern Northland.
This response was exactly what Alexi had been expecting from O'Bangles.
To this response he wrote:
Dear, Comrade Ben O'Bagels
A team of six people is all that need be sent, any larger might be a risk to the security of this mission. Three of these members will be arriving a day after he arrival of this email by boat. Each of these members will be carrying the red raven sigel so you can identify them. I will also forward you their records.
The reconnaissance team's main goal is to find out what is happening within the country of Inya and to evacuate the loyalists still holding out in the Valancia Prefecture. A secondary mission though would to be to rescue my ambassador if she still lives.
I hope these terms are agreeable
Sincerely,
HIM Alexi Alexi Stravoski
"Now to attach the members files," Alexi said as he scanned the military's data bases.

Hitting the send button Alexi sighed. He leaned over to pick up the phone from his desk to start making the appropriate calls.

Sitting in his Presidential chair and slumped over his desk, President Ben O'Bagels let out a long yawn as a message popped up on his computer. It was nearly five in the morning and with his blood shot eyes he peered at the screen to see what he stayed up all night waiting for. "Message received from Alexi Stravoski" it read.
"Ah finally," the President half yawned.
He opened the message and read it, three or four times.
After a couple of minutes, he looked around the room.
"Ah Laura, you've arrived just in time," he said to his personnel assistant who had just walked into the room.
"God, you look terrible President, I told you, that you should gueet some sleep."
"I know, I know but this Inya thing is desperately important. Anyway I'm going to sleep soon, I just need to do one more thing."
"Good. What can I do to help then?"
"If you could get me through to the head of the Secret Service please Laura. These damn Skype things are so damn confusing."
Laura let out a laugh, "I told you to stick with a normal phone you know, here you go it's ringing now."
O'Bagels put the phone to his ear, and a loud voice boomed, "General Lee, whose speaking?"
"Ah General Lee, sorry to disturb you this morning, it's President O'Bagels."
"Ah Mr President, how may I help you?"
"I trust you got the details of the Inya mission?"
"I have indeed, President."
"Good well I want three of our best agents in there as soon as possible, and I want them to get information on, the loyalist forces, the revolutionary forces and what Benuhal's intentions are, hopefully they are what they say they are."
"Right Sir any other instructions for my men?"
"Yes one more thing, they are not there to protect the loyalists, they are there to protect the law abiding citizens ok?"
"Right well I'll be right on to it"
General Lee wasn't at all bothered at having his phone ring at five in the morning. Every day at the crack of dawn he would be up and today was no different. He quickly finished his breakfast and sat down with a cup of coffee at his computer and set about sending a message to Benuhal to confirm his men's presence on the mission.

"Dammit!" Navel Commander Francesco Aburn swore as he sat up in bed," Can't get any sleep in my own bed these days." Putting on a shirt he walked to the door to answer it. A small male Ilan stood on the other side dressed in black.
"Who are you and what are you doing-"
The man flashed a badge which had the red raven embossed upon it.
"What do you want?" Franceso asked coldly.
"The council requests that you signal any incoming crafts from Sorthern Northland to dock or land on your air craft carrier." the man replied brushing the white hair from his eyes.
"but why-"
"No questions," The man said turning on his heel and walking dock the metal corridor.
Franceso grumbled to himself as he shut the door,"Damn imperial agents, they flash that badge of theirs and expect you to jump for them."
"Innes," He said into the speaking tube,"Alert the signal man to tell any Sorthern Northland craft to land or dock."
"At once sir," a voice from the tube responded.
"Oh and treat the arrivals with the utmost respect."
"Done sir" the voice responded again.
Franceso climbed back into bed and tried to get some shut eye for once.

The new year may already have been some ten days old but that didn't bother the staff at the Sorthern Northland Secret Service. In fact it was President O'Bagels that had insisted the party last this long. And they weren't going to disagree with him. Ten days of partying however does take a lot out of you, in fact the numbers had started falling some three days ago. General Lee was one of those who had ended his party in the last few days. After a couple of days of work he had come in, to find that everyone who had remained had fallen. Among those was O'Bagels, who was slouched over a sofa in the common room. Lee woke him up.
"President, sorry to bother you, but shall we still send our agents over to Inya?"
"Bucket! Pass a bucket!"
Lee scrambled round and quickly found a bucket and handed it to the President. He waited as the bucket was filled by the President with much of the food and drink consumed over the last couple of days hurled out of his stomach and into it.
"Oh God, I feel terrible, got any paracetamol General?"
"Yeah we should have some in the first aid room, anyway.."
"Inya you say? Have you chosen the three agents?"
"Yes."
"Are they in a fit state to travel?"
"They are, I sent them home from the party a couple of days back."
"Ah excellent, how soon can they depart?"
"Within the hour."
"Then send them, now then I better be off, I'll see you when I've recovered in a couple of days."
General Lee, had already got a helicopter fuelled and equipped with everything his three agents would need in Inya. He made some calls and within half an hour was seeing the three agents off.
He sat back down at his desk and wrote:
TOP SECRET COMMUNICATION.
(IE: Don't let Royal Mail deliver it)
To Navel Commander Francesco Aburn
My three agents have just left Beningrad and I expect them to be at your location in a small amount of time.

*Command Room, USS Blackbird*
"Sir," A voice said over Navel Commander Francesco Aburn's personal com channel,"We have visual conformation of an incoming helicopter bearing the Sorthern Northland insignia."
Holding his hand to his ear he responded,"Perfect, Hove everyone on deck to greet our visitors. Also, please inform Mr. Delfon that they have arrived."
Removing his hat Francesco let our a delighted sigh. After this I can finally see my family.
*Main Deck, USS Blackbird*
The ship's crew and marines arranged themselves in two large lines beside the helicopter landing pad.
The Sorthern Northland moved in closer, stopping to hover over the marked helipad. Slowly, gingerly it touched down on the ships deck. The doors slid open.
As one every soldier on the deck knocked their boots together and placed their right arm across their chests, palm closed over their heart. The Benu salute.

As the agency's helicopter neared touchdown, the three agents peered out of the window and onto the decks of the ship below.
"Looks like we got ourselves a welcoming committee.", announced Hungarin.
The other two didn't say anything, just looked up quickly before looking back out of the window. They'd grown used to Hungarin stating the obvious.
The helicopter radio's then crackled into life.
"Shearwater one, do you read me over?"
"General Lee, we read you loud and clear, over."
"Ah Hungarin, what's your location? Over."
"We're just coming into landing on the ship. Over."
"Ah excellent, well then this will be the last you hear from me until the mission is over. Good luck men. Over and Out."
Just as the conversation ended the helicopter finally touched then. A minute later and the three men opened the door and jumped out to the Benu salute performed by the ships personal.
A seemingly high ranking official stepped up to greet the three men. Hungarin offered his hand and asked "Navel Commander Francesco Aburn, I presume?"
"Aye that would be me," Francesco grabbing the man's outstretched hand and giving this a good shake,"Now if you follow me, Corporal Delfon and the other team members are waiting below in the Briefing Chamber."
Releasing the man's hand he lead the group to the stairs that lead to Under
Deck 1. "After this I am to have no further contact with you until whatever assignment you are on is over," He said over his shoulder as he navigated the winding hallways of the ship's under deck. He stopped a large steel door with an id plate which said "Briefing Room #3."
Turning the handle and opening it to a Blank blue-walled room with a large metal table in it's center. A man with a brown beard was leaning in the corner staring at the new comers and another woman with long black hair was sitting cross legged, smoking a cigarette by the table.
Entering the room Francesco said,"Hello Ori, Zhanna. Would you please put that out and refrain from smoking while on my ship." Zhanna scowled dropping the cigarette to the floor and putting it out with the heel of her boot. "Thanks. Now, where's Delfon?"
A pistol loaded on his left. Turning Francesco saw Delfon pointing a loaded pistol towards his head. Delfon frowned and said,"Name and identification."
"Dammit Delfon you know who the hell I am! You've been shadowing me for the last couple of days! I had next to no sleep because of it!" Delfon seemed to take this as a positive answer and turned the pistol upon the group behind Francesco.

Al K'reanye, experienced as he may be in covert operations was a very paranoid man. Everyone else was against him he felt, he trusted no one, and certainly not anyone on ship, and whilst his two colleges may have been surprised to see a gun pointing at them, he was only surprised it had taken so long. He had been prepared for this situation though and had loaded and hid a silenced pistol up his jumper before disembarking from the helicopter. As soon as he saw the gun pointing at him, he took his out pointed it at Delfon and shouted "Put the gun down or I'll shot."
Delfon already seemed nervous about the meeting and this only made him even more so. Slowly he put his finger on the trigger, visibly shaking.
"For God's sake A, put the gun down!", shouted Ruri Al'leanga.
"No! He'll shot I know he will.", K'reanye muttered, as he made a move to pull the trigger, spotting this Yuri Hungarin quickly dived at his college and tackled him just in to send the bullet out of the room rather than into someone's head.
"For fuck's sake, Al we're supposed to be working with these people not shooting them", Hungarin said before turning towards the three Benuhal agents and telling them "I'm deeply sorry for my college's actions, I promise he won't be doing anything like that again."
After a life spent mostly alone, Ori Huntsman had developed a weired sense of humor. He refers to his work as more of a game, rather then a deadly job, he named his rifle "Liza" and finds the final looks of surprise of his victims to quite amusing enjoy able.
With the scene unfolding in front of him he couldn't help but smile. "Good ahead shoot him," He said taking steps the towards the scene, watching the man hold his gun in shaking hands making,"It won't do you much good though."
"Ori, I can handle this," Delfon said coldly not breaking eye contact with Al.
Placing a hand on both pistols, Ori pushed down slightly causing both men to bring their guns at their sides. "You've done enough," He said.
Delfon visibly relaxed re-holstering his pistol and retreating deeper into the room.
"Now gentlemen, please do come in," He said.
"Guess that's my cue to leave," Francesco said. He tipped his hat, turned and disappeared in the winding hallways again.

As cued the three Northlander's walked into the room at sat down at a round table in the middle of it. K'reanye pulled his chair pulled back, once he'd checked it for booby traps, and then sat down and stared at the floor. After around half a minute he looked up at Al'leanga and smiling spoke softly to him, "You really thought I was going to shoot him didn't you?"
Al'leanga let out a laugh before replying, "Nah not really, other agents have told me you'd do that. Interesting way to introduce yourself in my opinion."
Whilst his two colleagues were more light hearted in their approaches, Hungarin was more impaitiant to get one with the task in hand. He looked up at his counterparts from Benuhal and quickly asked, "How soon can we get into the theatre of action? Do you know the location of the ambassador? Who are they being held up by? What's the area like? And can I get a beer around here?"
As he asked that last question his two colleagues nodded approvingly whilst muttering comments like "Oh yeah, a beer would be good."
"My, my," Zhanna said resting her head in her hands,"we've got an eager one. Fair enough. Ori, dear would you hit the lights."
Ori did as he was beckoned and flipped a light switch near the door. The room was momentarily dark before a picture flicked into view on top of the table.
the image was that of a woman with light brown skin, long black hair and striking black eyes. She was dress modestly and was being guided by a pair of large men who were obviously security.
"This a picture of ambassador G'thenka Kai," Zhanna said clarifying the image, "It was taken the day after arrival. She was given an escort of 4 Benu soldiers and a Red Raven bodyguard, who we assume to be dead."
Tapping the table the image changed to a video clip. It showed the ambassador tied to chair and gaged. A man's voice off screen said,"Your ambassador is safe but, only if you do not involve yourself in Inya's affairs any further. After the conflict has settled you'll get her back. Anything you want to add ambassador?"
A woman wearing a black mask and carrying a rifle emerged from the side of the screen and removed the gag from the ambassador's mouth. "Help I'm in the-" She cried before being hit in the head by the woman's gun butt.
"Naughty, ambassidor, trying to give away our position," The voice said again. There was a muffled noise and the feed cut out.
Getting up from her chair, Zhanna said,"This video was delivered to the defense offices five days after her disappearance." She tapped the table again.
It switched to a picture of the package."No return address, no print or DNA pf any type could be found on it."

Dear vile, flesheating communists. Your wrongful and illegal takeover of the legitimate government has come to our attention. As per our current foreign policy we will not tolerate any form of communistic disease to spread any more, and will immediately take every measure possible to amputate the problem and strangle the infant while it is in the cradle.
As we cannot declare war as you are not a legitimate state, we will immediately start hostilities and destroy you foul monsters where you stand. May the coming battle be most glorious and may the blood of evil flow into the depths of this great and holy earth and rot away.

Hungarin bit his lip. "I'm gonna be honest with you, if she's not already dead then, I think by the time, we find her location she may well be. So we're gonna have to get started ASAP, there is no time to lose."
Al K'reanye, the teams espionage expert spoke next. "Seeing as we have nothing to go on it looks like we won't be able to track a suspect or anything like that. Our best bet I think will be try and get friendly with the normal people in that area, see if they know or have seen or heard anything. Other than that I'm guessing their will be some Gurellia fighters loyal or sponsored by the new regime, they will possibly now the Loyalists hideouts etcetera, only trouble is I suspect they will have Loyalist spies amongst their ranks, who could well blow our cover."
K'reanye sat back down and waited to see what the Benu's had to say next.
"We have anticipated this," Delfon said,"our government has bought the loyalties of some of the soldiers, effectively turning them into spies. Although not the most reliable, it's effective enough to keep our covers."
"Well then, moving on," Zhanna said hesitantly, "Through our network we have determined that the ambassador is somewhere in the Valancia Prefecture."
She tapped the the table changing the picture to a map of Inya. Tapping on the country's western western border the map changed to one of the Valancia Prefecture. It was shaded blue, red and yellow. A legend at the side identified red as the Inya government, the blue was Loyalist and the yellow marked as battle areas.
"Most of the Prefecture is mountainous with a few large towns located here and there. Most of the northern half is controlled by the new regime, although there is some resistance holding in the area. The southern half is totally under loyalist control. There has bee a couple of large skirmishes in the major towns of Togeko and Hiromi in the last couple of days. ," Zhanna said taking a breath, "Where do you think we should place ourselves Hungarin? K'reanye?"

"Bought the loyalty of their soldiers? Never been a fan off that myself, if they can be bought, then they can just as easily be bought back, but I digress it doesn't seem like we have any other option but to carefully trust them.", scoffed Al'leanga.
"Well," announced K'reanye, "we will have to be careful with these soldiers and I just hope they keep to their new found loyalty. As for us, I propose we spilt into two groups of three, one group going into the government controlled areas and building up some form of a small guerrilla outfit with which to attack the loyalists. The other group I propose go into the loyalist areas. Obviously they will have to be more discreet but may still be able to find some pockets of fighter loyal to the new regime. For this second group I propose that from us three I go and then Hungarin and Al'leanga go into the government controlled areas."
"Then I shall go to the government controlled area with Hungarin and Al'leanga," Zhanna said, "and Delfon and Ori will head with you to the loyalist camp. Agreed?"
Great she's paired me with the jumpy one, Delfon thought sarcastically as they waited for a reply.

"Excellent," said Hungarin, "I suggest we get our stuff ready then and set off at nightfall. What transport do we have to get to Valencia?"
"Team one,K'reanye, Delfon and Ori will be entering the country by boat and landing on the southern coast. Your contact is Mori Kanto," Zhanna said,"While my team team 2 will land in Guan Airbase with forged dispatch notices."

"Ah a boat?" K'reanye asked nervously.
Zhanna replied, "Yes, I trust that's fine?"
"Of course it is," Hungarin butted in, "Al K'reanye, top secret agent, can survive well all the stuff secret agents have to survive but has an irrational fear of boats. He'll be fine though, after half an hour or so, he'll have thrown everything in him overboard and be absolutely fine for the rest of the journey. Just don't give him anything to eat or drink."
K'reanye, smiled nervously and said "Erm well lets get going all this talk of b-b-boats isn't going to free the ambassador is it?"

"We're approaching Government territory be on you guard," Zhanna said over he head comm.
"Roger that," Hungarin replied
Guan airbase was coming into view. The helicopter's radio roared to life,"Unidentified aircraft, this is Guan Ground Control, please state your ID number and business."
Zhanna picked up the mike and replied,"Control, this is Down Hawk 07, ID number 209641. We are on a dispatch mission from the central government."
After a few minutes of static the traffic controller said,"Your ID checks out. Please land on helipad 08 marked by red guiding lights. After landing your dispatch papers will be checked."
"Roger that. Proceeding to land," Zhanna replied placing the mike back in it's holder.
"Make sure those Inyian uniforms are on before we land," She said as she guided the helicopter to the marked landing pad.

Al K'reanye pulled himself back over the side of the small boat, having to time managed to lean over the edge before throwing his lunch up. His two Benu colleague's with their feet in pools of sick certainly hadn't found themselves to endeared to him.
"I thought they said you'd be all right after half an hour?" Ori half snorted.
A pale K'reanye replied, "I usually am, but it's a very rough sea tonight."
"Well hopefully we'll be making land soon, I'm currently trying to contact Mori Kanto, our contact." Delfon interrupted, "If we're where I think we are, we'll be in smooth waters in a couple of minutes."
As the next few minutes the three sat in silence as the boat moved steadily into smoother waters.
Suddenly a piece of equipment that Delfon had crackled into life.
"Delfon is that you?"
"Who wants to know?"
"It's Mori Kanto."
"Yeah it's Delfon, I'm with two other agents, Ori and a Sorthern Northlander, Al K'reanye."
"I see the light on your boat, your nearby, I'll let off a flare, just follow that and I'll see you in a couple of minutes."
The three again fell silent until they landed at the pier and met with Kanto.
Kanto wasted no time with introductions and got straight to the point.
"Come on quick, let's get moving. Someone may have seen the flare. There's a cave just down from here, you can hide the boat in. Get all the stuff out and I'll take it down there."
The three did as they were told and waited for Kanto to return. They didn't have long to wait and soon he was back.
"Ok, we best move to our base under nightfall, it's too risky during the day. It'll probably take about two hours and we'll be going over some rough ground so be careful. Ok? Let's go."
And with that the three of them journeyed into the night and inland.

Loyalist General Ivan Zhou pounded furiously on the door to Princess Verita's makeshift office, at the Monarchy's headquarters in the village of Shenyan, about 20 kilometres to the East of Valancia City. "Madame! I need to speak with you at once!" he said in a hurried and anxious tone. A rather clean-shaven manservant of about 20 years of age opened the door to the room for him.
"What is it?", asked Verita, looking up from a pile of reports she was reading.
"Well..." Ivan took a deep breath and swallowed, feeling nervous. "I have reason to believe we're being spied on, not by the SRF, but by international agents."
"Do we know who?"
"No, I'm afraid. But there have been suspicious movements outside of our headquarters as of late, and judging from their accents, they are not Inyanese people."
Verita sighed heavily a few times, clutching her head in her hands. "That's the last thing we needed.", she said.
"Shall I then?"
"Permission granted."
Ivan walked slowly out of the room, and reached for his transceiver.
--------------------------------------------
An ambulance pulled up to the door of Tiantan-Kaminsky Hospital in Xian. SRF agents stood by as a figure was removed from the vehicle on a stretcher, and hurried inside.
"This is a very sensitive situation", said one of the agents to the check-in nurse, "so make sure all staff here are aware not to ask too many questions of the patient. We'll be watching. Everything you need to know about this person is written on the authorisation slip." The agent then handed the nurse a black envelope.
The nurse was a 28 year old woman with black hair and rather pale skin, who's staff name tag read "Ekatrina Liu", which she drew a small heart on. Ekatrina took and opened the envelope, and read the contents, which stated that the patient being admitted was a foreign woman who sustained a bullet wound to the left leg in Valancia Prefecture, was initially treated at Rui Jin Hospital in Valancia City, but was transferred here after her condition had stabilised due to continuing local violence. Ekatrina then placed the contents back into the envelope with a curious look on her face, entered some information on to the computer, and said to the agent, "All right. She will be staying in room 2019 on the 10th floor. Follow the two men to the right, who will bring her there now." Staff had transferred the patient into a wheelchair, which they then started to push towards the elevator. As the agent walked away to follow them, Ekatrina couldn't help but wonder the rest of the story.
