In your nation's mailbox:
Dear [INSERT NAME HERE],
The holiday season is fast apporaching, and I am sure that your nation is gleefuly preparing for it. However, as you have fun, you must remember about those less fortunate who work tirelessly to help make the NationStates world what it is: The United Nations.
The United Nations has always been a firm promoter of the goal of international unity and has been a bastion of sanity, promoting new ideas and making the world a better place. You [may/may not] be a member of the UN, but its assitance has helped your [INSERT GOVERNMENT TYPE HERE] out, creating such things as the Eon Convention on Genocide, the International Red Cross, and everyone's favorite, the Passport Standarization Act.
However, the UN needs money to fund all its endevors and plans. The Compliance Minstery has to spend lots of time heading to every single nation to help ensure laws are in compliance with UN resolutions, and all those Committees need to be staffed.
The "UN Funding Act" however was roundly rejected by members of the UN, meaning the UN is always short of cash and requires more money to ensure that it can continue to operate and provide the same level of service as it always have.
Therefore, we ask that during your holiday season, that your nation please donate money to the United Nations. Thank you for your support.
Signed,
UNVision, the Offical Charity of the United Nations
