The History, Culture and Politics of The Borderlands of Delmarva Jersey
By Susquehanna Emmanuel Carroll
Introduction by Franklin Kava, Temporary Interim Special Ambassador to the United Nations, former Commandant of the Chesapeake Naval Guards and Riverine Cutter Patrol, Military Historian

Introduction

Years ago my main interest in life was in the history of my homeland. Before I realized that there were no decicrabs to be made in the study of history and diverted into the service of this great nation, I devoted countless hours to books, classes, and extremely amateur archaeology.

All Delmarva Jerseyans know that, technically, our currency is the crab; and that it was superseded by the decicrab when inflation dropped its value to near nothing-- but how many know why that violent inflation was born from the collusion between the Appalachian-Atlantic Railroad and the New Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, which raised prices to high that everything else shot up with it? It is because of this conspiracy that, today, our decicrab is worth a little more than two and a half times the Roanokan dollar; while the crab is worth barely a quarter of that same dollar.

And who, among the general run of our people, know the crucial role the Messenger Corps of the Borderlands Army played in the unification of our oppressed, disparate counties in a unified, independent nation? That the Executive Postmaster overthrew the Commander in a bloody, silent mutiny, and protected our Constitutional Convention from the Capital Army, bow-carrying Messengers falling beside the hunters of the Appalachians, shredded by the guns of the Capital?

Do any remember the bloodless coup that led to the heroic defense of the Confederacy of Del-mar-va against the imperial dreams of the Armed Republic of the infamous Wehrmacht?

Or the revolution of oppressed citizens of the city of Washington, DC that freed the Sanctuary City from its domination by the destroyers of the fallen United States?

I have the distinction of knowing all this, and the honor of introducing you all to a man whose thirst for the history of the Borderlands is exceded only by his love for the nations that once straddled this continent. Sam, as he (for somewhat obvious reasons) prefers to be called, has delved for decades the field whose surface I only scratched. What he does not know of D-Jersey could be inscribed on the point of a needle, and still leave room for the entirety of the works of Banneker, Douglass, Dickens, Twain, Tolkien, Shakespeare, and Pratchett.

I pray that you will be able to ignore his dry, crappy writing style to enjoy the feast of knowledge contained within.
