Below is our militaries standard sidearm, the J45P. It is based on the Colt .45. It incorportates far superior safety features, however, such as the rear grip safety and a seperate thumb one. It is a double action weapon.
The J45P is a single-action, semiautomatic handgun chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. It is the standard-issue side arm for the Kingdom Of Jamesandluke armed forces from 1939 and uses the short recoil principle
It was widely used in World War II, the Korean War and the Gulf War. Over 6 million have been produced. The only problems are the hammer bite, its weight, the fact that the grips + safeties dont work for small hands, and the high recoil.
