In an unusual move, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Regent is attending the coronation of Grand Duke Mikhail II who will be crowned Vasilevs (Emperor) of the newly declared Taraskovyan Empire.

The Crown Prince Regent who has seldom left on international trips is attending the event with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Rt. Hon Danarth Kerson, and the Lord Privy Seal, the Rt. Hon Aedklen Umvar.

The coronation takes place in the Cathedral in the Taraskovyan capital of Vigvar. It is anticipated that numerous foreign leaders will attend the coronation.

The Crown Prince Regent's attendance at the coronation throws light on the controversy surrounding the Crown Prince's refusal to set an date for his own coronation.

An spokesperson at the Royal Palace stated that the Crown Prince Regent is attending the Taraskovyan Coronation as he felt it was an very important event and an opportunity to improve foreign relations with other nations.

CEO OF UVSTA BIOTECH FOUND STABBED TO DEATH IN PENTHOUSE

Fameroan Alsurt, President and CEO of Uvsta Biotech found stabbed to death Friday night

Fameroan Alsurt, President and CEO of Uvsta Biotech, was found dead Friday night from stab wounds in his penthouse apartment in Astevane’s Economic District. Police say that Alsurt’s butler had been sent out on an errand, and when he returned Alsurt laid stabbed to death in his living room.

An inside source says that the police suspect more than a simple crime of passion, and believe this to be an planned murder. Lack of evidence is impairing the investigation. Alsurt was notorious for his lack of corporate security, and not allowing surveillance cameras to be placed inside his penthouse or private elevators in Stameur Tower. This has been said to be to hide his extreme personal lifestyle which may come under scrutiny if proven related to his death.

When questioned, an inside source says, Alsurt’s butler stated that Alsurt had invited what he called friends over for an private visit. The butler stated he was frequently restricted to stay outside of the Master Suite when these private visits occurred. He stated that Alsurt often brought his guests through his private elevator which ran from his Master Suite to his private garage in the tower basement.

The butler remains detained for the time being for further questioning. Tower residents were also being questioned, but no other suspects were detained.

Police are seeking any witnesses for questioning who were around or inside the Stameur Tower around the time of 10:00 PM Friday. Uvsta Biotech Corporate Security has an A£20,000 award for any one who comes forward with information that leads to the capture of an suspect.

Industrial conglomerate GAPC's stock value hit a new low for this quarter largely due to investor concerns in the shutdown of GAPC West Ariddia. The company was forced to shut down West Ariddian operations after the socialist government imposed extensive regulations on GAPC's operations there.

Analysts often use GAPC as a predictor of Aerionian economic trends, however some analysts are saying this is an isolated incident that will affect primarily GAPC operations.

Over a hundred esteemed guests arrived at the Grand Ballroom in the Royal Palace's Grand Wing for the annual Winter Ball hosted by the Royal Family. Those from all sections of high society were there. Ministers of the Crown, CEOs, celebrities, authors, and artists. All gathered in black tie attire to celebrate Winterval. For the occasion seventy seven ice sculptures were carved for the courtyard, and ballroom. These grand ice sculptures by master artisan Vausy Ermw'e were lit in varying colors in the courtyard by unique lighting effects.

The Royal Winter Ball was a most splendid affair, however there was the notable absence of HRH Crown Prince Damoen Wasterin. A response from the Crown Prince's private secretary indicated that his absence was due to an private overseas trip

With the Royal Opera House facing declining interest, HRH Princess Ameria Wasterin was named chair of the Royal Opera House with the resignation of chairman Mr. Rlaiu Vax. Rlaiu Vax was a longstanding member of the board of the Royal Opera House, and was named chairman after his extensive hosting of sponsors. Mr. Rlaiu Vax is Executive Vice President of Marketing at Adinas Motors, and had been a long standing patron of the arts. In an official statement issued Monday Mr. Rlaiu stated that he resigned due to increased pressure in his corporate responsibilities.

Roven Alsi, Royal Governor of Veturos, passed away at the age of eighty-two of natural causes

Roven Alsi, Royal Governor of Veturos, passed away at the age of 82 at the Governor's Palace in the Veturos provincial capital of Veturoein. The Governor, whose family has been long-standing royalists since the first monarchy, is survived by his 35 year old son Pareiyth Alsi, 40 year old daughter Esteiura Alsi, and 29 year old daughter Poritia Alsi.

Governor Alsi had several familial connections to well-known Aerionian families, and was on the board of directors of two major corporations. His daughter, Esteiura Alsi, is married to the former CEO of Ilon-Madro Commercial Motors, and daughter Poritia Alsi is Vice-President of Marketing at The Loft hotels brand of Aerionian Hotels and Resorts.

Governor Alsi's son, Pareiyth Alsi, is slated to succeed the Royal Governorship from his father. If he does so, he will be the youngest currently serving Royal Governor. Though there has been some debate if the Crown Prince Regent will confirm his....
