Synopis
This story will introduce the Imperium, it culture and people, as well as present it recent history and current issues to the nation. Weakened by a two year recession and political infighting, the Imperium is at a crossroads. With elections fast approaching and number of foreign diplomats visiting the Imperium finds itself facing one crisis after another. Will the ancient nation be divided? Will it rise again to eclipse the Sun? It's future and fate is at your keyboard.

Sub-Plots
To keep things easily organized, I have compiled a list of the subplots and included some suggestions for participation.
Shinzo Golanus - When an explosion rocks Golan Heights, tensions in the Drakonian-occupied territory will rise. The senate election campaign in Shinzo Golanus threatens to reignite a regional liberation movement that could tear apart the Imperium. With the recession hurting the Golan people the worst, the region is open to instability for the first time in two decades.
International involvement in the region are a possibility, whether it be challenging the Drakonian policies or fomenting rebellion. Other options might include inquiries into the nature and history of the region and its past conflicts.
Diplomacy - Representatives from Aelosia, Xanthal, and Glorious Humanity have been invited to the Grand Praetorian Palace to casually meet and talk about future relations. The visit plans to include a cultural tour of Drakonia.
The Imperium is always open to diplomacy contact and relations. Whether it be first contact, the negotiation of treaties, or the establishment of an Embassy, this is a great option for involvement. Drakonia is always open to sharing it unique cultural heritage.
Election - The politic climate is tense in the Imperium. Shifting allegiances have made the six Senate elections a battleground for party superiority and influence throughout the nations. The winners of the election will likely strongly influence future Drakonian policy and shift power toward their party. The latest battleground for Drakonians is for the support of the electorate.
Elections in the Imperium are free party-based affairs, where even foriegn nations and individuals can involve themselves (although running for office is restricted to Drakonian citizens). Campaign and party contributions are welcome, as well as endorsements.
Investigation - Matthew "Cardinal" Messienus, a known criminal, has returned to the Imperium and the Drakonian Intelligence Agency is scrambling to discover why he has returned and who he is contacting in nation. They hope to blow open an international criminal cartel and destroy what little links organized crime has in the Imperium.
Messienus is an international criminal and part of a South/Central American Cartel. Opportunities for involvement include foriegn investigators following him to Drakonia, or even his international criminal contacts and associates.
