I was thinking of this senareo where all the nations are really generation ships in a convoy. Because of how rare raw materals are they would have to fight over them or make trades. They could also have a UN type thing.

The main reason i brought this up was that i was always interested in sci fi. Also it seems unlikely that every single nation in this game could be on only ONE planet.
