The hardy elf played and manuevered his way into the good graces of every squad he has ever suited up for. Now with Soler out, a tournament under his belt, the former captain has been giving the reigns to take this squad to their title, or go find another job. With the possession style that Soler brought and attacking style of Florentine, he combined them into a solid squad that is worthy of their elite status in the footballing world.

The younger brother of the now legend of Martin, St. Louis has all of his brothers skills with the better physical attributes. Where his brother was a mere 5 foot 8 inches, Jacob is a full 6 foot 2 inches and doesn't come out to play the risky ball nearly as much as his older sibling. However, they both share the trait for coming up big when the moment could make or break the game.

Defenders

5 Mathias Nickel, Cheonjin (Daehanjeiguk)

Had been the anchor for the imprentable defence of Hartdale for over a decade , and has taken the oppurtunity to show his skills for stifiling strikers in Daehanjeiguk. Given the starting job in the three tournaments ago, Nickel matured and rose to the challange of his new manager. With Metria as a partner, the backline has become a solid rock and allows the midfield to assist the strikers more on the attack.

12 Wori Metria, Hartdale Hawks

The little lady plays a very aggressive style of defence, constantly harrasing her mark from the first whistle until the last. Her main weakness is her aggressiveness that can sometimes tire her out towards the ends of the halves. Apart from the stamina issues, she is as solid as each of her backline partners, and works well with Nickel, having played domestically together for eleven years, before Nickel made his move to Cheonjin.

38 Manuel Lopez, Raynor City Rockers

Not much to say about this hardened defender apart from that he knows how to win and gets the job done. There is usually that one player on the squad that is the strong silent type and this tournament, this is the man, finally earning his spot on the starting squad after being on the reserves for the last few tournaments., and has managed to keep his spot thanks to some great performances in the clutch last Proper.

Midfield

22 Rick Cuellar, S.C. Vagrant Hills (Assegai)

Sex - M
Rick is the playmaker in the midfield, with the uncanny ability to see plays developing before they happen. This leads to many assists for the maestro in the middle, and also the thanks of his strikers. His ability to facilitate and capitalize on the chances given to him gives him the edge on many attacking midfielders who would love to be in the place, as well as the captainship now that Constant is manager.

34 Jere Jannian, Raynor City Rockers

Sex - M
One of the best wingers to every set foot on a pitch in the ESF. This lad is masterful at crossing and putting in perfect through ball or lobs. His skill has lead to numerous individual awards in the EPL, including five time winning of Winger of the Year award, as well as leading the league in assist eleven out of his sixteen seasons on the top flight. In addition, he has an easy to get along with personality, that makes him one of the best teammates, the one everyone wants to room with. He was finnaly given his due when Soler came in and proved his place was well deserved, putting in nearly an assist a game.

4 Laborious Hawk, Timorlug Wargs (Turruth Gordur)

The crafty elf is a beast of an attacking midfielder. He stands at 6'5" and is gifted with amazing technique and footwork for even footballers not his size. Add in his highly accurate shot and ability to find seems in the defence, he is the hardest assignment for the oppisition of the Marauders and can easily create chances out of thin air. He made his presence known to the world last tournament, co-leading the team for talleys with Kiso Night, as each found the net 14 times combined between the Proper and Qualifiers.

15 Cristi Kries, AC Lea Monde (Assegai)
Age - 765
Sex - F
The younger sister of former national teamer Liliam Kries and the twin of current Marauder, Nelson, this lady has all the tools to make a great midfielder. With her amazing speed, she also shows great ball control and excelent vision for finding others. Lacking in strength, she makes up for this flaw for being to play anywhere in the middle of the park, be it a holder, facilitator, or winger, she is up for the job and usually money.

16 Javier Jaques, CA Ville-Royale (Oliverry)

Sex - M
After a dissapointing start in the Premiership, the EFA casually let the midfielder go on a free transfer to the Oliverry squad. This move seemed to change his career as he went from a weed amongst roses to the whole bouquet. Given his suberb first touch and toughness in the middle, Constant lets the once fallen star shine brightly along the impressive tower of strength of Hawk, allowing his partner to venture into the final third which is more to his liking.

Has been on the national team since their first entrance in World Cup 29, but has not cracked the starting line up due to the bigger names and talents. Not becoming discouraged, he has used the time he has been given on the pitch and playing behind the greats to develop his game. Unlike Kiso, who can score a multitude styles of goals, Rikard is best on the volley and break aways. Though his skill his great, this lack of good ariel game can cost the team if they are needing goals late in competition.

9 Kiso Night, Rinaldi Gunners

Son of legendary captain Zacharius, and the scoring mistress of Kyla Night, the prodigal son proved why the future of the ESF is very bright. He has the scoring prowess, the foot speed, control over the ball, balance, and intelegance for the game that makes him a dreaded assignment. His only flaw is trying to outshine his parents reputation, which leads to him taking a few too many shots when a pass to another player would of been the better play. He's showing some natural progression towards excellence, and given the thousands of years still left in the prime of his game, his oppenents will dread him for many Cups to come.

The Stalwart of the team, despite being captain and a forward is very aware of what is happening all over the field and has a strong knolwedge of his other teammates and what they can do. Ricky and Thomas are brothers, though there is a strong rivalry between the two, The reason both of them have made it onto the squad. Though off field they are the closest of brothers.

#53, Frederick Hampstead F

A talented forward, having breathed soccer since he was young, has not scored too many goals himslef but is always in the right place in the right time to make sure that any forward attacking move by the team has the best chance of success. Though he is still looking for and is hungry for his first international goal.

#24, Everrett Kang F

The last of the starting forwards, His incredible accuracy is his main weapon it is the subject of much heated debate which forward is best, generally each excels in a critical area and a combined and sustained attack by all of them would test even the strongest of defense. However, they are quite well balanced by the defense and midfield.

#9, Thomas Yunn, M

Not to be over shadowed by his slightly older brother Thomas has excellent control of the ball and can place it very accurately over long distances, this has even resulted in a few goals for Thomas, who is the left winger.

#32, Quentin Assington M

The centre and master tactition, him and the captain Ricky Yunn control the game, or attempt to anyway. His timing is perfect and has been known to get rid of the ball just before a legal tackle and draw a foul. However Quentin is also a bit of diver though never does it once he gets a yellow.

#27, David Myfanwy M

The only welsh speaking player in Bazalonia David has made a name for himself for his passion for the game. However he can get a bit uptight and can confront referees for even the hint of a bad decision. However as the right winger he just seems to be in the right place at the right time.

#28, Arianna Georsophalous D

One of the 2 women defenders in the team Arianna get's annoyed at the concept of a purely female world cup. If there was a male only world cup then they be different but the world cup is for the best soccer players in the nation. And she has earned her right to be here and will not let anyone else get in the way of her playing her defensive game.

#37, Henry Fjord D

You can never really be sure what this guy will do in any particular occasion usually causing confusion, even then you can't be sure whether he'll take the ball himself, pass it on to another player or just get in the other players way.

#20, Zieta Swift D

The second of the woman in the team, more sedate than her fellow female defender, Zieta does her job and does it well.

#31, Xia Chia D

Oriental appearance, he seemingly works well together with the females in the team managing to set up complex 3-part defensive maneuvers. Xia was once in the Bazalonian military and always had a flare for defense. both on the field but also on the soccer pitch which he was in the Bazalonian Army Soccer team that beat navy in the Armed forces games.

Younger Brother of Paul Kanga, a previous substitute goal keeper for the Bazalopes Joshua had proven himself during the AOCAF tournaments as a great goalkeeper.

Manager: Mark Baker (Aged 58)

Though once renowned for his domestic sides' attacking outlook, Mark Baker's C&M is a defensive team; unafraid to patiently play it around at the back and/or soak-up opposistion preassure before counter-attacking down the flanks. The side pivots around a holding midfielder, alongside a technically proficient colleague with good passing abilities who is vital to stop the team becoming overrun in the centre. Baker is likely to start with two up front, though could well switch to last season's 4-5-1 if Momtaz finds his feet in the Cafundéu league. He will also opt to start with several players on the wrong side of thirty, but a disapointing first half of Qualifying could see some of the youngsters come in. (Major alterations to the starting line-up will be noted here.)

His assistants are Steven Loovens (fitness, putting cones out), Ricardo Garcia (tactical awareness and self-proclaimed sports psychology expert) and Elroy Ergin (goalkeeping).

The veteran C&M goalie's athletic ability isn't what it used to be, but he's still an excellent shot-stopper and an imposing presence, what with his gold teeth, dreadlocks, and habit of reciting off-puttingly dire poetry at corner kicks.

23. Harry Primrose, 22, Marquez(OW)
The future of C&M goalkeeping who could yet take the starting jersey from Uwakwe this year. Inclined to make silly mistakes at times for his club side, but can also pull out the odd ridiculous save. He's not even remotely camp, by the way. It's just your imagination.

22. Oberon Martinez, 25, Albrecht Turks
He's the third-choice goalkeeper. Who really cares?

Defenders:

2. Damien Sono, 31, Albrecht Turks, STARTING RIGHT-BACK
Extremely solid player, who represents the more defensive option in his position. Reformed gambling addict.

3. Doug Szczechowicz, 26, Albrecht Turks, STARTING LEFT-BACK
Another of Mark Baker's former chargers at A.Turks. A late developer, Sch... Ch... Shchuzz... Doug has added defensive ability to his useful overlaps and crosses.

17. Sam Young, 26, Albrecht FC, STARTING CENTRE-BACK
The Scorpions centre-back and club captain, and successor to Waddington in both roles. Good head for a small man.

5. Benji Fu, 27, Albrecht FC, STARTING CENTRE-BACK, CAPTAIN
Tall defender who elegantly distributes the ball into the midfield and flanks. A placid lad, who occasionally elects to hack randomly at an opponent and gives away too many penalties. Recently became captain. Plays the drums in his own band, Ultimate Fantasy Girlfriend. They had a top-27 hit last year.

6. Peter Waddington, 33, Clube Imperial
The itinerant former national captain enjoying a last hurrah in Cafundéu, Waddo's play is characterised by his desperate, goal-line clearances; though he is still as comfortable as ever on the ball. Shouts alot.

12. Walter Jordan, 23, Caires City
Back-up right-back, selected in the squad for his link-up play with club team-mate Caras. Breeds rabbits.

13. Adrian Mazzeo, 24, Candelaria(AM)
The starter at the Cup of Harmony will be disapointed not to retain the left-back role. Best known domestically for being enguaged to Sarah Owusu, a Molecular Biology student notorious for regularly getting her thrupp’nies out for a variety of shiny publications. For those that care about such things, she recently moved up to third on Unbearably Hot magazine’s fabled Top 100 Candelarias Babes annual list.

18. Juan Carlos Revault, 27, KT Hotspur
Plays as a centre-back for his club, but very much a utility man across defence and midfield. Has his own clothing range.

Midfielders:

16. O'Sullivan Caras, 24, Caires City, STARTING RIGHT-WINGER
Slightly less skilful than other options on the wings, but an intelligent player with a pint-point cross and decent free-kick on him. Obnoxiously religious, he usually stretches competition rules as far as they can go in order to take to the pitch with more holier-than-thou bling than you can shake a diamond-encrusted crucifix at. Recently forced to deny he was planning to retire and take up the priesthood.

20. Jos Cornelisse, 26, São José, STARTING LEFT-WINGER
C&M's Prince of the Step-Over, who has finally secured a club that knows what to do with him, and a starting birth for the Big Blues.

14. Ben Head, 23, Green Island, STARTING DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER
Quite the most unlikely choice in the squad, especially when considering Baker has already confirmed he has pushed Torrealba out of the line-up. Yet to play a full season in the top-flight of the CMSC, Head will none the less be the pivot around which C&M turns. Is the public face of Spiritual Healing with Horses magazine.

21. Speed Wang, 31, Albrecht FC, STARTING CENTRAL MIDFIELDER
Undoubtably the most talented player the islands have produced in a generation, he can spray the ball about all day long but can be injury prone, especially at this late stage in his career.

7. José Felipe Cassumba Domingos, 19, Marquez(OW)
...and the most talented player of the next generation. The C&M side of the future will surely be built around "Cassa", who can play up the right or in the middle. For now, however, there remain concerns over his lightweight physique.

11. Joey Pipes, 22, Castillo FC
With pace to burn, this touch-line hogger will have to make do with a supersub role after he was succeded on the left by Cornelisse.

4. Luis Enrique Torrealba, 33, Albrecht FC
The combative midfielder, whose selection in the squad ahead of younger players is controversial, but in truth serves to highlight the country's lack of depth in the key holding midfielder position.

8. Mamdooh Momtaz, 30, Atlético Jutense
Possessing an uncanny knack to score and create goals at will despite barely touching the ball for most of the game, Momtaz is a key substitute and will start behind the striker should Baker choose to switch to a 4-5-1.

Forwards:

9. Steven Fritz, 32, Albrecht FC, STARTING STRIKER
Small but pacey, and can generally be relied upon to win the odd dubious penalty. The country's top scorer of the modern era, but clearly feeling his age.

Slow but potentially deadly forward who can also play on the right.

15. Yasser Zaghloul, 26, KT Hotspur
A great big unit, who's not as good in the air as he should be, but has earned his place thanks to performances in the CoH.

Gk: GK: Halutz Dalton- Big kid. Known for stopping shot based on his frame alone. His actual goalkeeping abilities have been questioned but he did win the starting job. So that should put them to rest, for a while anyway. Somehow chosen over the Fletchers.
D: Steve Emter- A late comer to the scene, Emter played great for the Mongolian Horsies in getting them to regional competition and is now ready to be a member of the national team.
D: Daig Mitchell- Hard tackling central defender who was known among his peers for his excess of cards. However this has been curbed considerably he still has a bit of temper. We hope he can keep it under control. Got the sub job to help himself with the temper.
D: Kent Rolt- The most famous member of the squad for his two behind the halfway line goals in one game. Can score from anywhere on the field and can also tackle well, the complete package.
M: Nicholai Marchakov- Athletic fast and good ball control. Looks like a younger Darian Flinters and much more like the first generation of Milchamian wings unlike Lonnen and Manin. Suprisingly got included in the squad.
M: Kenny Rintell- Johnny's son. An absolutely wonderful central midfielder who is probably better than his father. Will play on the Milchamian team for a long time. Is actually only 14 right now.
M: Kev Kelton- Great ballhandling skill and good pace plus nice crossing ability. Unfortunately very volatile and makes poor decisions but his natural is incredible, we assure you.
F: Kevin Flossmore- Very speedy and has now become a decent crosser. Will be looked to control Kelton to make sure he doesn't go crazy and kill somebody.
F: Tal Flar- Tall and good in the air. Flar's goal scoring ability will be key to the team advancing. His tall frame has helped club team FC Doom get on the verge of IAFL qualification.
F: Avi Belmowitz- (Godmod) Lans seems to have some special plan for him as he is the least proven player on the squad. However, his talent seems amazing but he will be closely watched to see how he does.
F:Mike E. Forent- This generations middle initialed player. Became a winger after the center strikers places were closed, expect him to come roaming inside a lot.

Substitutes:
Gk: Fletcher James- The first of the Fletcher's to get a first team shot internatinoally wants to prove how good he and they can be.
F: Thomas Manningham- Good man. Good player. Scores goals. Is a sub. Very uninteresting. Thus the 3 word sentences.
Horse:Maimonides- The first Jewish horse. Just for that he gets on the team, we're not actually sure if he's any good.
F: Catch Esrimdo- While his name might be a paradox. His play isn't, his crosses are definitely below quality but his speed is near unmatched. Part of Lans' work to improve the speed on the team.
D: Kendry Wilkirk- A little larger than the average defensive wing but he has matured quite quickly and looks great at it. Can also play centerback and his movement has been considered key to the success of this team.

CAFUNDÉU RELEASES THE OFFICIAL LIST OF PLAYERS FOR THE 37th WORLD CUP

(Lasft, Cafundéu) – The best campaign of the country’s history was at home. Playing well in front of the fans, Cafundéu could retain the ranking position lost after the horrible campaign in World Cup 35 qualifiers (the rank was 19th, now is 18th), which sent the Monopolists back to the 28th position in the ranks. The CCFM wants to see the team playing well, and to complete this objective hired a known coach: Franz Braddock, the one that put Cafundéu in World Cup 32.

This time, few changes in the team, as World Cup 36’s squad was young and very good, so most players deserved to continue in the National Team. Some players had to be substituted due to injuries, while others gave space to some new players. The team seems very strong, and Heitor and Anormal will continue in the team, playing their 6th World Cup qualifiers.

1-LAURO Navarro Vasconcelos (Team: Petardos S/A)
Height: 186cm - Weight: 72kg – Age: 26 years old
In excellent form, Lauro finally won the place of first goalkeeper of the National Team, sending Júnior to the bench. Now, he is playing in Petardos S/A, and he is surprising everyone with great saves, commanding the defence of his team. He is an eccentric goalkeeper, who likes to take free kicks too (he won’t have this chance in the National Team). He is also very intelligent.

12-Luís Octávio Andrade JÚNIOR (Team: A.F.F.)
Height: 205cm - Weight: 88kg – Age: 27 years old
The “slim barrier”, continues in the National Team, but now as a reserve player, losing a place to Lauro. He A.F.F.’s keeper for many years, and is known as a calm and concentrated goalkeeper, who can save penalties and is in the right place in the right moment. His reflexes are also excellent. He is still a very secure keeper, and can even get his position back.

Height: 199cm - Weight: 102kg – Age: 23 years old
A good goalkeeper, who was able to get a chance in the National Team as Dutra preferred to stay in his team (a weak one) and nearly was relegated. As Braddock likes players who play for big teams, Moisés was chosen. He is a strong goalkeeper, who is good at tackling too (difficult to be dribbled). Sometimes he is a bit violent, but he is a kind person. He also drinks a lot of water, and when he plays, you can see a big gallon of water next to his goal.

2-Leonardo Macedo de Mattos "LÉO MATTOS" (Team: A.F.F.)
Height: 168cm – Weight: 72kg – Age: 24 years old
A fast, intelligent and offensive full-back, who can play in both sides of the field, although he prefers the right side. He lacks some defensive abilities, so he suits better in an offensive strategy, as he has speed and good passing and shooting abilities. He is very young, but has some experience now. He has developed a lot, and now is surely the best full-back of the whole National Team, and one of the best players of the entire team.

Height: 175cm – Weight: 74kg – Age: 28 years old
Gray was one of the best defenders of the whole country for many years, and was called for the National Team a lot of times, but never for a World Cup. After the injury of Coelho and his good performances in the B NT. He is a technical full-back, who can start some good plays and has a lot of experience in the League. His team doesn’t want to sell him at any cost, and that’s why he isn’t playing in giants Petardos S/A, which offered more than thirty million vintéms for him.

6-Antônio Machado Veiga "TONINHO" (Team: Central United)
Height: 185cm – Weight: 86kg – Age: 25 years old
Toninho played for all the National Teams for youngsters in Cafundéu, and now reaches the main team. An intelligent player, who can predict what his opponents will do, he is very good at set pieces and very tactician. He has a good passing ability, and defends well, but doesn’t score much goals. He is very resistant too, it’s difficult for him to get injured. He has a lot of fans, and is very respected.

Height: 176cm - Weight: 74kg – Age: 33 years old
André Luís is already an experienced player, who played for many teams of Cafundéu. After a really bad performance during World Cup 35, he has another chance to show something on the National Team. This is the only thing that he wants to finish his career with style (although he’ll play one or two more seasons in Petardos S/A). He is a technical defender, who passes well the ball and is good defensively too.

Height: 172cm - Weight: 70kg – Age: 23 years old
Eduardo Monte was just a promising youngster of the Sub-23 team, but he impressed the whole world with his speed and perfect long passes. He defends well, but needs the help of a more experienced defender to be successful. After playing for some time in the National Team, he went to giants Petardos S/A, and improved a lot as a player there, and now is the best defender of the country.

4-Guilherme Frota SOUZA (Team: Atlético Jutense)
Height: 173cm – Weight: 72kg – Age: 24 years old
Souza was the team mate of Eduardo Monte in EC Elville, when the team made a surprising campaign in the National League. Now, both went to different teams, and Souza now is in a team known for its excellent defense. He is more fast than the other defenders, but has less physical strength. He can start some counterattacks and can even play as a full-back in the right or left wing if needed.

14-Francisco Menezes Vasconcelos "CHICO SERRA" (Team: Ranca Toco)
Height: 201cm - Weight: 97kg – Age: 29 years old
Francisco played for many teams of lower divisions of Cafundéu, and got a chance to show something in the First Division few years ago. He became a starter in Ranca Toco and showed an excellent football, going to the National Team. He is excellent in tackling and in heading (as he is very tall). He isn’t good in attacking, so he stays in the defence most of the time. He is a bit violent too, and receives many cards. He won his nickname “Serra” after threatening a reporter who invaded his house with a chainsaw. Some team mates don’t like his excessive violence during trainings.

20-Carlos Mendonça Santos "CARLÃO" (Team: Clube Imperial)
Height: 200cm - Weight: 114kg – Age: 20 years old
The rock in Clube Imperial’s defence. Carlão isn’t considered a talented defender, but his strength scares the attackers and transforms him in a good player. Good at heading too, can score some goals and has a strong shot from outside the area. Carlão was called because Chico Serra (who is another strong player) is a violent player, and can be suspended in some games. As Braddock likes to use big defenders to hold a positive result, Carlão entered in the team..

5-Mukulaiê Bakarangobadah Zulaiêká "ANORMAL" (Team: SC Lasft)
Height: 220cm - Weight: 155kg – Age: 29 years old
A monster in the field, Anormal has a strange past. His father is a famous scientist, and his mother is unknown. Many sources say that Anormal is an experience made by his father, but this is only a theory. Anormal is young, but surely the best player of the team. Taller and heavier than any other player of the team, he has more abilities than anyone. Great physical strength, very fast and is good at everything(heading, shooting, passing, tacking). His only weakness is that he doesn't want to hurt his opponent, so he tries to get the ball in a gentle way, being dribbled sometimes. But everybody loves him and he'll surely play all the games.

17-Carlos VERGARA (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 173cm - Weight: 76kg – Age: 25 years old
The most talented of the Cafundó do Juta twins (he and Túlio Vergara, an attacker), Carlos Vergara started to play in the main team of Cafundó do Juta two seasons ago, and showed a lot of quality, getting a place in the B National Team in his first season as a starter. After solid seasons (he has few excellent games, but nearly no bad games), he started to be considered one of the best midfielders of the country, and got a place in the NT after Barbosa got injured. He has a very good ball control and passing ability.

19-WILSON Carvalho "MAGRÃO" (Team: Dunboor FC)
Height: 178cm - Weight: 67kg – Age: 22 years old
A shy midfielder, who has to be motivated to show his full potential, Wilson Magrão is another good defensive midfielder who appeared in Dunboor FC. He usually doesn’t have spectacular performances, but it is hard to see him making a mistake during the game, so he is a good choice for important games, when there is a lot of pressure, as he is a very calm person. His team mates consider him a friendly person, so he has no relationship problems. He seems weak, but when playing, shows an unbelievable strength.

8-Thiago Pardal "RATO" (Team: Clube Imperial)
Height: 162cm – Weight: 56kg – Age: 22 years old
Another ex-player of Galáxia, Rato is a fantastic midfielder. Usually playing in a more offensive role, he is an excellent dribbler. His dribbles are incredible, it seems that he can do whatever he wants with the ball. His passes are very good too, and can put the attacker in front of the goal with just the keeper to beat. He has a lot of speed too, and an average defensive ability. His main problem is that he is horrible at heading, so he won’t participate in aerial plays. He is also a very modest person, who doesn’t consider himself a key player of the National Team.

21-Marcos Sales Fontoura "CARIOCA" (Team: Dunboor FC)
Height: 180cm – Weight: 82kg – Age: 32 years old
Carioca is probably the best player of the team in terms of ball control. Usually playing in a more defensive role, he is very good at tacking and passing, and very good at set pieces too. His main problem is his finishing ability, so he probably won’t go to attack. When the team is winning a game, he can hold the ball for a lot of time, which can secure the good result for his team. But he drinks a lot and got involved in many confusions, including a murder (he was declared innocent).

10-Jorge Lafaiete Benazzi NETO (Team: Central United)
Height: 168cm - Weight: 65kg – Age: 25 years old
Specialist in crossings and free kicks, Neto has a lot to offer for the National Team. He is good at dribbling and finishing, but doesn’t like to get involved in defensive plays. His heading ability is not so good too, and he gets tired quickly. So, he usually stays in the midfield waiting for a pass. In the media, he is known as the statue, because he stays in the same place for most of the time. But when he gets the ball, he surely will make an excellent play, or score a goal from a free kick.

Height: 168cm – Weight: 64kg – Age: 25 years old
Dário was one of the “Galáxia SC wonders”, five players of the Fourth Division team that surprised the country. We went to Atlético Jutense and later to Cafundó do Juta, and is having very good performances, using all his scoring and dribbling ability to help the team, and the National Team. He is also good at passes and set pieces, but isn’t good at defending. He had a bad season, and lost the place in the starting XI.

18-Marcelo Augusto Lafaiete "MARCELINHO" (Team: Galáxia)
Height: 165cm - Weight: 68kg – Age: 26 years old
Another player coming from Galáxia. Marcelinho was considered one of the weakest players of the team, but his performances in the last seasons opened the eyes of those that criticized him. He was only able to show his true potential after four seasons playing in the starting team of Galáxia. Now that his team is in the First Division of the league, he must show more ability. He is a creative player, good in dribbling and passing.

7-TALES Cassiano Assunção Sobrinho (Team: Cafundó do Juta)
Height: 179cm - Weight: 81kg – Age: 27 years old
A player who has developed a lot during the last years, Tales support the other attackers, and can make many assistances. His main objective isn’t to score goals, but sometimes he uses his good finishing ability to do that. He is also very fast and has good passes, but wants to stay away from set pieces. He became a bit arrogant after playing well for the National Team and changed teams, but still has the confidence of most of the players. He likes to talk with the media.

Height: 164cm - Weight: 60kg - Age: 24 years old
The most promising “wonderkid” of Galáxia SC, Flecha has more technique than the other attackers, but lacks physical strength. Main responsible for the rise of Galáxia in the lower leagues, he is now in SC Lasft. Now, four players from Galáxia are already in the NT (Rato, Marcelinho (Ferreira in WC 36), Flecha and Dário). He is really fast (his nickname means arrow in english) and has a good finishing, but isn’t too good in making assistances.

Height: 178cm - Weight: 72kg - Age: 29 years old
Has a very good finishing too. He wasn’t a goalscorer, but in the last years he is scoring many goals for the NT. His heading isn't accurate and his dribbling is far from perfect, but his passing is good. He likes to press the opponent defender and try to take the ball from him. He also can create some goal chances. When he is not playing he works in the CCFM judging the referees, and has a good future as a player. He also has a good relationship with the media.

Height: 176cm – Weight: 82kg – Age: 25 years old
Tramontina was one of the key players of Central United, and everybody knew that he was going to the National Team, as he was the best player of the B National Team in the last years. After signing a millionaire contract with Petardos S/A and getting the place of 4th attacker after the injury of Ferreira, he will finally play for the main team (he will enter in most games). With a strong shot, good physical strength, vision and positioning, can help the team. His problems are his weak left foot and his poor passing abilities.

Coach: Franz BRADDOCK (Former Petardos S/A coach)
Height: 183cm - Weight: 96kg – Age: 68 years old
One of the best midfielders of Cafundéu's history, Franz Braddock was extremely motivated, determinated and tactical. And he continues with these abilities as a coach. After coaching many great teams and winning a lot of trophies, he was an unanimous choice to return to be the coach of the NT. So, he left Petardos S/A (that now is coached by the Ariddian Christophe Argentier) and started to build a team that suited his style to battle for the objectives of the country. His training is very tough and tiring, he wants to extract the best of his players, and some players don't like this. But he continues being the savior of the country and the only one that can give victories to the team.

Assistant Coach: RIVALDO SODRÉ
Height: 179cm - Weight: 86kg – Age: 58 years old
Sodré doesn’t have the confidence of the directors or of the players, but he is respected, as his knowledge about football is huge, and he can help the team very much creating good strategies for each game. He was never a coach, only an assistant in many teams, as SC Lasft and Central United. He is very happy to return to the National Team, and will use all his abilities to make the team win their games.

Spy: PAI Oxossi de Guibar DINAH
Height: 158cm - Weight: 64kg – Age: 90 years old
Pai Dinah(or Pai Oxossi) is the spy of the team. He says that he can discover the most deeper secrets of the opponent talking with the opponent players and using his secret talents. He is a very strange person and many people say that he is crazy. But he does his work well, and most of the times he discover the secrets of the enemy.

Physical Trainer:Ricardo Emanuel "TROVÃO" (Former Clube Imperial)

Trovão was mantained by Braddock because the players like him. He has a lot of knowledge about physical training, and uses it to give some advice for the players. He likes to run with the players during morning, and because of that some players become friends of him. His training style is simple, and can be adapted according to the opponent.

The players and the staff need to be relaxed to play all the games. So, Serginho Mallandro's job is to make jokes, play games and help to make everybody happy. Sometimes he can be a bit annoying with his phrases like "Glu-glu", or "Bilu-bilu tetéia" and other ones, and even the directors don't like him very much, but he will stay with the NT. He also works with the female NT.

Doctor: Dr. TATIANA MORAES (Former Faculdade de Medicina)
Height: 175cm - Weight: 62kg – Age: 38 years old
After Cecília left the country to work as a doctor in a famous foreign hospital, the CCFM went after a substitute. Tatiana has been working with football players since she got her degree, so she was a natural option for the job. She does her job well, although some older doctors wanted her place.

Director of the NT: Counselor-Minister of Sports Erasmo Carlos JOWENGUARD
Age: 87 years old - Time in the job: 22 years
Jowenguard's family is one of the founders of the CCFM. He was the president of the CCFM for 30 years, but health problems made him renounce. Now, without problems, he has the job of director of the National Teams(less important), but he still has great influence in the CCFM and in the CFFC, choosing the NT coach and changing some things that he shouldn't change(I won't give any details about it). After the team failed to qualify for the World Cup, he became the Counselor-Minister of Sports, but decided to continue being the Director of NTs (he could be the president of the CCFM again if he wanted).

President of the CCFM: MIGUEL JÓIA
Age: 52 years old - Time in the job: 4 years
After Cafundéu didn't qualify for World Cup 35, the supporters, angry, rejected the presence of the Counselor-Minister of Sports Samuel Makas in the position of President of the CCFM. The Emperor sacked Makas from the government, and from the CCFM. New elections were held, but only Miguel Jóia applied for the job. Jowenguard was offered the job, but he declined. So, the player agent Miguel Jóia became the president of the CCFM.

Background Detail: Nothing too absurd happens in Cafundéu. But please note that in Cafundéu you'll have to pay for almost everything. You'll have to pay for the water, food, transport, products, to walk in the road, to receive an answer about something, to complain, to thank, and many other things. Cafundéu also is looking to profit with these qualifiers, so any country with good economy is free to invest here or buy some of our products. Drugs are prohibited and the laws are very strict. The prisons are horrible and the prisoners live in bad conditions, but they have the right to watch the games in Carandirú City for free. Cafundéu's press is also very annoying, as they'll make everything to get some news. More detail in my NSWiki (about government).

Stadiums Used: Cafundéu has many stadiums that are in good conditions to be used for the World Cup qualifiers. After the group draw, the CCFM will release the stadiums that will be used. Landau Institute's selected doctors

Estresse Intenso is a very dangerous and difficult place to live. Its citizens have to support all the stress resultant of a society that is near to an anarchy. The country itself doesn't have a National Team, but there is one place that has, the only place that doesn't have the pressure of Estresse Intenso's way of life.

Many people from Estresse Intenso succumbed to the stress. Most of them became crazy and couldn't live in the country anymore. So, they went to the Landau Institute, where the stress can be controlled and any craziness signs can be controlled by the many doctors that live there, employed by Doctor Rogério Landau.

All the players of Estresse Intenso's National Team come from the Landau Institute, and there they can train 12 hours per day, every day. But this time, after recent failures of a team composed by patients, Doctor Rogério Landau decided to pick the most respected doctors of the Institute (those who can play well football) and created a team composed by doctors and professors.

Because of this entirely new way of choosing the players (all the players will go to their first international competition), Estresse Intenso has a completely new style, more defensive. Please note that most of the players are old. This is because someone can only be considered a doctor after intense study, and the minimum age is of 23 (but few are able to become doctor at this age).

To become a professor, the doctors need to keep studying, and only after a specific number of services made for the Landau Institute, a doctor gets this title (it takes approximately twenty years). A professor works together with the commanders of the Institute. The title would suggest that he would start acting as a teacher for young doctors, but this isn't the case.

During last cup's qualifiers, Rogério Landau hired scouts to search for new players for the National Team. The scouts gave their opinions, but in the end, Rogério chose only one player recommended by them, and filled the remaining spots of the NT with some friends of him.

1- Professor Dráuzio VARELA: one of the most respected doctors of Estresse Intenso, has a strict relationship with Doctor Rogério Landau, president of the Landau Institute.

One of the drawbacks to having an experienced national team is that by the next cup all of your starters will be old. That's the case this time around for Squornshelous. We'll be a younger team this time around, with all starters but strikers Dmitri Polokov and Roman Svoboda retiring. Kustaa Paavalainen, who played quite well in two World Cup XXXVI appearances, is the starting keeper. The captaincy goes to Svoboda, after a five goal performance during WC36. We'll still have plenty of experience in defense, with veteran bench players Staffan Thorstein, Rassmus Pahlsson and Jonathon Olafson stepping into starting roles. Midfield is where youth will rule, Erkki Aatunen steps into the center striker role, with Caj Ilmari and Mikkula Kuivalainen at attacking midfield. Anton Gulbrand and newcomer Tomas Vendelin will fill the defensive midfield spots.

Starters' Profiles:
Kustaa Paavalainen (GK): Kustaa has been consistently competent in his appearances thus far. He is a no mistakes type of goalkeeper, who beats shooters with his smarts and positioning, rather than with incredible athletics. He is capable of highlight reel saves, but his style of play usually leads to very routine looking stops.

Rassmus Pahlsson (RB): Pahlsson has yet to appear in a proper World Cup match, although he has played well in qualifying matches. If he can keep up his form and focus, there shouldn't be any problems, but if his play falls off, Juha Timmonen may see some starts at this position.

Staffan Thorstein (CB): Thorstein played fairly well in the troubles that plagued the Squornshelan defense during the World Cup XXXV campaign, coming in for Gunnar Jonsson when Jonsson lost his focus. He helped the Pschychoes to wins over Qazox and The Holy Empire, and played tolerably well against Errinundera. He'll need to have a good cup if we're going to compete.

Jonathon Olafson (LB): Despite sketchy play at the end of our second round match against Errinundera, Olafson has been given the chance to play. He can't really be blamed for a lot of goals allowed when half of our starting defense was out of the match, and his play against The Holy Empire was exemplary. Realistically, we expect mixed results from him.

Anton Gulbrand (RDM): Gulbrand is another bench player who has graduated to the field. He is a big, powerful midfielder, and uses his strength to win the physical battles that are so important. Small, speedy attackers may evade him once or twice a match, but he'll give them no end of trouble for the other 85 minutes.

Tomas Vendelin (LDM): Vendelin is a promising, but unproven young man. He'll have to learn quickly from Anton Gulbrand if he is to get by. Having former national team defensman Jan Jorgenson at the helm should help him develop his defensive play.

Mikkula Kuivalainen (RAM): Kuivalainen is perhaps just barely past the prime of his career, one that was overshadowed somewhat on the international stage by a persistent glut of talented midfielders. If Svoboda is the captain of the team, Kuivalainen is certainly a Lieutenant, he will lead and mentor the team's young midfielders.

Caj Ilmari (LAM): Caj at 25, is the most impressive of our players who are still young, but beginning to come into their own. He learned a lot about his position by playing alongside the now retiring Emil Jalmari. Playing his club football in Cafundeu, his game has become more varied from the contact with other styles of play. He should be a solid producer for the Pschychoes.

Roman Svoboda (RF): Roman proved to the world that his performance in World Cup XXXV was no fluke, brought on by underestimation of a young player. He put in five goals in as many matches during World Cup XXXVI and earned himself the captain's armband for World Cup XXXVII.

Erkki Aatunen (CF): Like most of our starters, Aatunen played well enough off the bench in World Cup 36 to earn himself a starting spot, using blinding speed to beat opposing defenses. However, his hold on that spot is pretty tenuous, as he is facing tough competition from Johannes Axelsson and Martti Uolevi. Expect all three players to share time.

Dmitri Polokov (LF): Polokov performed as expected in World Cup XXXVI, which would have looked pretty good if it weren't for the amazing performance of his teammate Svoboda. Still, he'll start and we expect him to put up good numbers in support of Svoboda this time around as well.

General Information:
All Squornshelan Home matches will be played at Vogsphere Arena in our capital, Vogsphere unless otherwise stated. The Arena is an aging, but frequently renovated stadium that seats 75,000.

In culture and ethnicity, Squornshelous is a mixture of Slavic and Nordic peoples. Fish and game meats are very prevalent in local cuisine and alchohol of some kind is served with most meals. Many people are very heavy drinkers, and although the stuff served in "tourist bars" is weaker, foreigners not used to the lifestyle may find themselves drunk under the table by locals fairly rapidly, especially if they find their way to the bars that the indigs frequent.

Squornshelous is a fairly mountainous country and winter's are harsh, due to our high latitude. Summer brings pleasant weather, perfect for football matches. Squornshelan players tend to work especially hard at conditioning in order to keep from being at a disadvantage when playing in hot, or humid climates. Visiting teams would do well to do some conditioning of their own. Most Squornshelan cities are located on the sea coast, and the breezes off the water can be quite chilly, even in summer months.

Bill Fold- Despite his last name, is one of the most un-flappable defenders in the game.
Tex Mex- A guy born on the Rio Grande, not sure if he's a Texan or a Mexican, but he can play foosball.
John Jacob Jinglehimer-Schmidt- Not the guy someone wrote a song about.
Real McCoy- Found wandering the streets of Pruxton, saying "I'm the Real McCoy." Decided to use him on defense since his constant rambling throws of the opposition.

Midfield:
Pi- A 3.14 meter tall Greek letter that can play foosball.
Under Where- A guy wandering around in nothing but jockey shorts, enough said.
The Sphinx- an enigmatic young lady who riddles the opposition with constant questions, which drive them crazy. Also a good corner kicker with her lion's legs.
3.1415- A shorter version of Pi, he's only 3.14 ft tall, but kicks like a mule.

Attakers:

Az-cz roster, to be used during World Cup 36 qualifiers

Federation name: Az-Cz football Federation
Team Nicknames: Gnomes, Adventurers, Robbers, Pinkos
Team Colors: Pink and Green

Formation: The Gnomes are moving to a 3-6-1 formation this cup after two cups playing a 3-7-0. Many of the same goals from last cup will be used but now they'll have a full on striker up front to lead the attack. The idea behind the team is 90 minutes of chaos. They intend to use their speed and stamina to wear other teams down and then pick them apart. The starters are Vitakiralski as the sole striker, Kn-Dg and Levesque playing very attacking midfielders on the wing with Ho-Lee Chung between them, Ip-Gp at the helm of the team in the middle. Jorge Shockey is positioned in defensive midfield and Hmr-Pn is sort of a roving midfielder who could end up basically anywhere on the pitch but will spend a lot of time in defense. Haji-Me is joined as a wing back by Hi-Kui who often drift into the offense to increase the havoc with Ca-Fu moving to Nerazzurri's spot in the middle of the defense. The team will also use the 3-7-0, 3-5-2 and 4-5-1 formations favored by past Az-cz teams.

Zax-Im

Coach Zax-Im is returning for his third cup as head coach of the Gnomes, hoping to build on two consecutive trips to the quarterfinals. Former captain of the Az-cz team, leading them to a Baptism of Fire championship and their first ever world cup finals. Is a master motivator and a master of tactical defensive midfield, he will share his knowledge with his former teammates. He has experience as a head coach leading the Az-cz side in AOCAF19 and as an assistant on the senior squad.

Bub-Rub: Bub-Rub was another player who took part in the Baptism of Fire champion squad and was on the side that made the first Az-cz trip to the world cup proper. He is in his fourth cup as coach of the strikers and attacking midfielders for this squad and third working under Zax-Im.

Hubertino: Is back to being partnered with Zax-Im. While they used to be the leaders of the team in defensive midfield now they are both coaches for the national squad, with Hubertino becoming an assistant immediately after he retired two cups ago. Like Zax-Im was before he's charged a lot with the development of young players.

Players:

Little is known about what to expect from the squad with three such key players hanging up their gear after last cup and the formation change. The pressure will be on the remaining veterans to step up and keep the team playing at the high level they've come to now. The team has also reverted to a much smaller lineup at this point. #9 - Seoula Vitakiralski
Height: 6'1

Age: 14 (388 in Elf Years)

Seoula Vitakiralski is the first ever non-human non-gnome player for the Robbers. His parents immigrated to Fort Ben-Degly where he was born. He struggled adjusting to life in Az-cz cause his parents were very strict with him and didn't let him enjoy things like Kleptochase and those kind of sports. However when he first got a hold of a soccer ball it was apparent that this was what he would do with his life. The Pagoda Ninjas found him and hooked on to him and got them into their training camp when he was the equivalent age of 9. Since then he's become more and more talented and led the league in scoring last season, pushing the Ninja's to their best ever third place finish. Despite his young age a lot of pressure will be heaped on his shoulders as the Gnomes look for a title. However the SoulElf, as Seoula is known in the -League, will have a lot of support from his teammates and fans, and is one of the most popular players in the league now.

#16 - EE-Or

Despite some fine performances last cup he has been passed by Seoula as the top striker. He still has some talent left in his system but never was quite up to being the key striker on a championship level team, but he will be a dangerous weapon off the bench.

#19 - Fe-Do

Club Team: Petardos S/A

Fe-Do was EE-Or's attack partner on the most recent AOCAF side. Fe-Do has recently moved to Cafundeu to play for Petardos S/A where he has been a strong striker. He has shown some major skills and is just about on equal par with EE-Or as the second striker.

#15 - El-Iot

Height: 5'3"
Weight: 135 lbs
Age: 21
Club Team: Yang Knights

El-Iot finally moved to a bigger club and took advantage, finishing second behind Seoula in scoring and scored the winning goal in the Shangri-La cup. He first made his mark with a good performance off the subs bench in AOCAF19 and is still developing both his skills and his body. Is expected to pass EE-Or and Fe-Do soon, possibly as soon as next cup.

Midfield:

#7 - Kn-Dg

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 140 lbs

Club Team: Yak Clerics

Kn-dg has come along way since his debut in World Cup 30. With Nerazzurri's retirement he is now the captain of the squad, and with Pizelkaxrovsky's retirement he is considered the best player. The fate of the Az-cz team will rest largely in his hands. He mostly plays on the wing using his speed to flash down the side to set up plays for the other players. He is the main corner taker for the team and is also the best goal scorer on the team from his spot in attacking midfield. He showed his amazing ability by finding an incredible nine goals in his five games in World Cup 35.

#8 - James Levesque

Height: 6'3"
Weight: 210 lbs
Age: 30
Club Team: Yak Clerics

Kn-Dg's strike partner and the son of former coach Roger Levesque, James Levesque is a brilliant attacking player. He also has good size which can cause considerable problems for the players around. That attacking pair is setting the -League on fire and look to do the same in the world cup. Amazingly this is the fourth world cup together and Az-cz fans expect Levesque and Kn-Dg to light up the goals in a major way.

#6 - Jorge Shockey

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 190 lbs
Age: 25
Club Team: Petardos S/A

Jorge Shockey is now charged with guiding the team from the critical defensive midfield position. Shockey provides a more physical package and a sharp mind as well with great skill. In his first season in Cafundeu he was voted best midfielder by some of the media there, so he has shown his skill in multiple nations. He will be asked to provide leadership and skill to go along with his youth and energy now that Hubertino and Lo-Ro have retired. He also provides Az-cz with a lot of size from their midfield, something not that common for them. He has followed in the lead of Zax-Im and Hubertion and become an excellent defensive midfielder.

#10 - Ip-Gp

Height: 5'3"
Weight: 120 lbs
Age: 31
Club Team: Darzog Mages

With Pizelkaxrovsky retired the team is now truly Ip-Gp's. He's been learning and waiting in Pizelkaxrovsky's shadow for a long time and looks to finally put that training to use. He won't have the explosive plays his mentor had, but he should provide a very steady calculated leadership to the team. He is also the best penalty taker on the team. Along with Kn-Dg his play will determine the fate of the team.

#12 - Ho-Lee Chung

Height: 5'10"
Weight: 165 lbs
Age: 29
Club Team: Golem Golems

Ho-Lee Chung has established himself as a key part of the attack force for the squad. Like Shockey he benefitted from the larger midfield as one defender spot was transferred to the midfield. While he can cause plenty of havoc for an opposing defense his defense is still not great, though it has improved greatly since last cup. He can even play more forward as a striker if necessary.


#11 - Hmr-Pn

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 145 lbs
Age: 29
Club Team: Yak Clerics

Hmr-Pn will be positioned in a sort of attacking defensive midfielder position and his versatility will be greatly utilized. He will be expected to play a big role this cup and fill many different needs for the team. He is the player who has the most to prove from this cup with so much being asked of him in Zax-Im's unorthodox formation.

#13 - Hu-35

Height: 5'1"
Weight: 130 lbs
Age: 27
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes

Hu-35 is back for his sixth cup. He's turned into an attacking midfielder but is still more than capable of representing any position in the midfield. His versatility also means that he will see plenty of play as a replacement for possibly any of the seven midfielders.

#14 - Anthony Byrd

Height: 6'0"
Weight: 245 lbs
Age: 24
Club Team: Yang Knights

Byrd is a bruising punishing midfielder. He really likes to get involved and dirty deep in the box and is totally unbothered by physical play. He lacks the technical experise that most Az-czzers have but his insatiable motor and physical size help him compensate for those lacks. The move to Yang Knight's has shown that he is the top defensive midfielder in the -League, now that Shockey has moved overseas.

#17 - Bn-Ct

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 144 lbs
Age: 19
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes

Bn-Ct is the son of former Az-cz national team player Bn-Dg. Like his father Bn-Ct is an attacking midfielder. His father was a good player but Bn-Ct looks to be an even greater player. He is one of the least experienced players on the squad, getting only a little action in his first cup, world cup 35. However he has been around the international game since the age of five, when the Gnomes went to the Baptism of Fire, so he is comfortable with the big names and knows many of the players on the squad. He is definitely looking to learn even more this cup. Since last cup he's moved to a bigger role playing with the Vertigo Slimes.

#20 - Ab-Sol

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 166 lbs
Age: 26
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers

Although he was originally a pure defender he has since developed into a defensive midfielder and is a very strong defensive presence in the midfield, although not the all around player that Jorge Shockey is. In terms of raw ability he might be the least talented player on the team, but he is a great worker and has an indominable spirit. If he needs to play he'll do a good job and what he adds to the practice pitch and locker room is also quite valuable.

#2 - Haji-Me

Height: 6'0"
Weight: 195 lbs
Age: 29
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers

Haji-Me is huge as Gnome players go. With Nerazzurri's retirement he is now the veteran leader of the defense. His role in attack will be held back a bit, although he will still be the main defender to sneak forward in Zax-Im's 90 minutes of chaos philosophy. Although he likes to get into the attack he has truly improved his abilities as a pure defender.

#3 - Ca-Fu

Height: 5'8
Weight: 160 lbs
Age: 24
Club Team: Golem Golems

Ca-Fu has flown up the ladder from suprise selection to substitute to starter to the head of the defense in the middle. He is looking as if he might go down as the greatest Az-cz defender ever if he can continue his current ascension. His defensive instincts are incredible and he uses his physical abilities well even though he isn't the biggest defender going. He also has a great instinct for starting counter attacks and makes great passes. Now is his time to shine and really push the Gnomes defense to greater heights.

#4 - Hi-Kui

Height: 4'9
Weight: 111 lbs
Age: 19
Team: Yang Knights

Hi-Kui has come out of nowhere to earn the third defensive spot. And the reason is that he was so unknown was that he had actually been living in Ariddia for the past 12 years. He was born in Mil-Bax but moved to Ariddia when he was 6. He only came back one year ago when the Yang Knights signed him. They expected him to be a sub only based on both his size and unknown quantities. But from the first day of training he showed his skills that he learned playing in Ariddia. He has blazing speed and just about perfect instincts, which is how he compensates for his incredibly small stature. The change from him to Nerazzurri in the back is a loss of 23 inches of height but with experience most expect him to be able to make up for that.

#5 - Du-Tre

Height: 5'7
Weight: 160 lbs
Age: 30
Club Team: Yak Clerics

Du-Tre was part of the youth movement at Yak Clerics who look to become the dominant team in the -League. Du-Tre is a blazing fast defender who makes plays that can spring the attack quite well. He tends to gamble to make things happen but can be provide a huge spark from the back line when he makes good plays. Although defensive subs see less action than offensive ones, he still ought to have a decent role for this squad.

#28 - La-Yu

Height: 5'3
Weight: 130 lbs
Age: 28
Club Team: Cloud Harpies

La-Yu hasn't developed as much as was hoped, but he is still a strong defender who won't ruin the Az-cz side if he is forced into action. He won't see much action but he will definitely make the attacking players work hard during practices.

#18 - Cn-Vro

Height: 4'10
Weight: 120 lbs
Age: 13
Team: Vertigo Slimes

Like Bn-Ct he is the son of a former player, Ns-Ta. Although he is still quite small he's expected to be taller than his old man, and at least as talented. Most expectations say it will be two cups or more before he's ready to start, but he's expected to eventually take over for Haji-Me as the third starting defender.

After years of understudying Gn-Lg he finally gets the chance to start in the pipes for the squad. Howver Haz-Tp is definitely breathing over his shoulder for the starting spot and could take it over from him at some point during the cup, but for now he is looking forward to starting in goal. He has announced that after this cup regardless of what happens he will make way for Haz-Tp.

#22 - Haz-Tp

Height: 4'11"
Weight: 115 lbs
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Age: 17

While there is some hope that Haz-Tp will get bigger, most expect him to stay quite small. However his incredible athleticism makes up for it. He has the athletic ability to play any other sport or any other position on the pitch, but somehow someone convinced him that his 60" vertical leap and incredible reflexes would be well suited in goal. And how right they are. Many players think they have goals that he plucks out of the air. With more seasoning he will become a great goalie. He is the future of Az-cz goaltending and should start many cups in the future.

#23 - Leh-Mn


Height: 5'11"
Weight: 175 lbs
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes
Age: 29

Leh-Mn was selected as the third goal tender for his height and experience. He is not expected to see any playing time at all this cup but is a solid keeper in the -League.

As far as stadium details go all of the stadiums that will be used in this cup are the same as were used in World Cup 33. Az-cz is a nation of thieving peace loving generous socialists. It is a sort of Utopian place where few people where clothes except as necessary for work or weather.

DWELMANT AH TYRAN - Coming off an astoundingly successful Baptism of Fire, the Tremarendakia Chieftains have announced the roster for their first ever World Cup, which, surprising none, mirrored the Hatchling Cup squad. Leading the group is Duro, who as of this time of writing, leads the squad with goals scored and assists. A close second is Livulo, who's 89th minute goal sent the Tribe into the BoF Finals match against Prux.

Of slight concern to the Tribe is the fact that Kear Newva, the Chieftain's keeper, has yet to earn a shut out in international competition. Whether he can pick up his play or not looks to be very important for the Tribe.

Bios:
Coach Charles DuPont is coaching the Sel Appa National Team for the eighth straight attempt for the World Cup. He brought the Turtles into the international football world and delivered them to not only the 33rd World Cup Finals, but into the Round of 16. Despite a large reshuffling of the team, DuPont has stayed on to maintain a constant and to better welcome the new team. Always optimistic, he strongly believes Sel Appa will soon rank among the top 10 in the world.

GK Mongke Bokegalbaatar is one of the new recruits for Sel Appa's national team. He is a huge 155kg behemoth that can easily stop a ball dead in its tracks with his large, meaty hands. He does not wear gloves, finding them uncomfortable. Despite being so large, he is quite nimble and can easily get from one goalpost to the other.

GK Anastasia Vadov is a well-known female goalkeeper. She claims to have the longest armspan in the nation, which will make her an excellent substitute.

DF Karli Rengel is considered one of the best defenders in Sel Appa. She was quickly chosen as soon as females were allowed on the team because of her skill. Her quick-thinking mind will enable a solid defense that should stop many attacks in their tracks.

DF Mohammed al-Jafari is a quick defender that ensures the goalkeeper has as little work as possible. He also sometimes acts as a defensive midfielder.

DF Nikole Barr is one of the fastest footballers in the country. She relies on her speed rather than her control to keep the ball away from the goal. She is notorious for forcing offsides.

DF David Davidson Jr. is lesser known player from Roflton who defends the goal well. He tries to fulfill his role as the last resort befor the keeper as best as possible.

DF Bum Dae Kim is a great defender who has sometimes run the ball deep into enemy territory before passing to an open forward. His counter-attacks are said to be the best in the nation.

MF Colin Patette is a master midfielder and probably Sel Appa's best. He can work in almost any situation and ensures that the ball is always in front of him. He became captain after Estevez's retirement and should hold the team together well, as under his predecessor.
Foreign Club: CR Submiria

MF Arthur Mercator V is the son of midfielder Arthur Mercator IV and the fifth in a line of Sel Appan football legends. The Mercator Dynasty continues with this new addition, who is replacing Pho Nguyen, who retired. He is expected to team up with his father.

MF Natalie Dubrov is the daughter of former striker Alan Dubrov. She takes much after her father, especially her love of football. She works hard to ensure swift connections from the defense to the offense.

MF Dzheighcymn Ghotiolo is Sel Appa's attacking midfielder, who often acts like a forward. He scores a lot more often than the average midfielder and should probably be positioned among the forwards.

MF Miroc Szwtrz

MF Mish Vasou is the son of former defender Kash Vasou. Like his father, he was born and raised in the Natives Province and brings Native talent to the national team. He has quick, strong legs that do him well.

FW Miquelinho is one of the best players on the team. He is said to be very good at most shots and can score from almost any situation, like Estevez. Many call him "lil Estevez" due to his similar abililties.

FW Karl GEPARDO is probably the fiercest attacker in the nation. He has been known to knock down defenders just to get a shot in. He has a large deck of yellow and red cards that he admits he'll probably add to.

Vikingholm exists on two levels. There is a real level in which it is a nation on Earth ruled by a King and populated by perfectly normal people. Feel free to use your imagination- you have free reign over all on-field activity. In fact, using your imagination is a requirement- no dullness may take place in a Casaran match. I ask you to hold back on Red Cards and any serious injuries without asking me first, but definitely feel free to ask- I have and will always be a promoter of creativity, at the expense of the health of my imaginary players, but I don't want plans thrown off because you wanted to break eight legs. If necessary, hurt the substitutes- they're not plot-critical.

Information and Notes
-Casari will initially be playing home games on the Wilson Downs- essentially a number of fields, surrounded by hills. There will be no admission, but it is decent of you to put a few Selaris in the hat as it passes by. Thusly, in winter it might have a layer of snow, in summer it might be partly submerged. As the campaign continues, the team will play in some actual stadiums, but the Downs are where the first games will be.

-The Casaran team is a bunch of College Students who decided to try and enter and were miraculously accepted. Thereby, they will behave as college students do- drink, do bizarre things on dares, drink, sleep in parks, drink, goof off, and drink. As well, they will ignore most of the etiquette of soccer, such as the stupid walking onto the pitch (they will run), pregame rituals (they will laugh at them), being nice (they'll come up with nasty chants about your team themselves and post them on the internet), and won't mind taking a run at your best player (they just don't care).

THE ARCHREGIMANCY BRINGS YOU

THE ARCHREGIMANCY WC 37 SQUAD

For those not in the know, the Archregimancy is a nation of Orthodox (Eastern Orthodox Christian - Russian, Greek, Serb, etc) monks and celibate priests.

After the dismal failure of WC36, which saw the Archregimancy drop from 10th- to 20th-ranked in the world, the Monastic Football Association has decided to display a new spirit of openness and drop the anonymous squad. For what it's worth, ‘Fr.’ is short for ‘Father’, not 'Friar'.


COACH
Fr. Nicholas the Unmercenary – The former central defence partner Fr. Constantine, has again resolutely refused any form of payment for either monastic club or country, believing that coaching his country is its own reward. In his playing days was a fierce tackler who is often found confessing his fouls at the conclusion of the match.


FOR
Fr. Basil the Faster - The lean, quick and deadly Fr. Basil - perhaps best known for his strict devotion to the Holy Fasts - becomes the latest Archregimancy international to make a welcome comeback. Surely the news of his return shall have the heathen nations shaking in their [football] boots?

Fr. Innocent of Ariddia – Formerly Aew Oj, this indigenous Ariddian was originally brought into the team as part of an international recruitment drive, though he's been established in the squad for some four tournaments now. Can some of the Ariddian magic rub-off on the Archregimancy? Is it heretical to refer to 'magic'?

MID
Fr. Igor the Contemplative – A pensive left-winger whose meditative style often fools the opposition into underestimating the power of his deadly pinpoint passes.

Fr. Barsanuphius the Strong – A native Bazalonian, this powerful central midfielder hopes to form a strong central midfield partnership with…

Fr. Serginho the Holy Fool – This mysterious figure recently arrived from the Landau Institute after professing his conversion to Orthodoxy. He's since shown himself to be a brilliant, if highly erratic, central midfielder. The question remains... was he a doctor or a patient in his past life?

Fr. Severian the Strict – Woe betide those who sin in sight of Fr. Severian, for his displeasure is severe indeed. Has been known to refuse to take penalties and free-kicks if he thinks the opposition are being unfairly punished. Amazingly, this even applies to heretical opposition.

Fr. Constantine the First Called [CAP] – One of the longest-standing Archregimancy internationals, Fr. Constantine is a natural choice for captain and projects an almost imperial presence at the heart of defence.

Fr. Nicetas the Hidden - They call him "the Hidden" because despite playing in the world amid the bustle of many sinners, he has secretly and unobtrusively attained spiritual perfection in his quest for the perfect tackle.

Fr. Andrew of the Glorious Eleven – Recently captained St. John of Patmos MFC to its first ever Monastic League title.

GOAL
Fr. David of the Woods – Former Errinunderan international and genderqueer under the name of owiavi. His past life makes him slightly more worldly than most of his teammates, and has a reputation for the controversial quote. One of the few Archregimancy players to emerge from WC36 with any credit, he's recently found a new fanbase in his native country, which is slightly odd given that he wasn't entirely complimentary towards the sins of Errinundera when he switched nationality.

Tips for footballing visitors to the Archregimancy:

1) Each home match is preceded by the complete Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. Rest assured that this should only require visiting teams, fans, and officials to stand for a mere 2 hours before kickoff. Consider yourselves lucky we don't use the Liturgy of St. Basil.

2) We control the nature of reality in the Dreamed Realm. This isn't used to cheat - all normal rules of football are strenuously followed - but it does have two major side effects:
A) Any injuries to either team in Archregimancy home matches are immediately healed.
B) No violent or riotous behaviour by visiting fans will be tolerated. Any such behaviour will find those responsible immediately transported back to ordinary physical reality.

3) Direct travel from ordinary physical reality to the Dreamed Realm is impossible. Some 72 hours before your away qualifier in the Archregimancy, a team of monks shall arrive in your home stadium and construct a portal to the Dreamed Realm. You may then use this to travel to the Archregimancy at your leisure.

4) A maximum of 10,000 visiting supporters shall be permitted into the Archregimancy for each qualifying match.

5) Women are not usually permitted into the Archregimancy. Exceptions will be made for visiting players and properly accredited officials - largely because we have to - but not for visiting supporters.

6) Formerly, the Archregimancy made a point of being resentful of being forced to permit atheists, communists, freemasons, assorted heretics and foul excelites into the Archregimancy for home qualifiers. Since the recent return of the liberal faction to leadership of the Monastic Football Association, however, the MFA has made a point of welcoming all of the above – though largely in the hope that might just possibly be open to conversion through a slightly more conciliatory approach. Not that the MFA approves of sinners, they’re just more subtle about it.

My RP theme for this World Cup is the return of Juan Tzimisces, World Cup Hall of Fame Legend, and captain of the Holy Empire from World Cups 1-4. Yes, 1-4. While he's coached both the Archregimancy and the Holy Empire since the Dreamed Realm re-started contact with what I term IC'ly as 'Ordinary Reality' (in WC24), this is the first time he'll have played since World Cup 4. Let's just say that time passes differently in the Dreamed Realm (see wiki link below).

I hope to RP stunned awe and amazement by other teams when I get the chance and where their RP instructions permit. You are under no obligation to RP along the same lines, though you're certainly welcome to do so. And no, you're not supposed to necessarily take the descriptions in the introduction to this post as fact - these are intended to generate an aura of myth and legend rather than to be taken literally.

Bettians are well-known for their politeness and friendliness, a fact backed up by many 'reliable' UN reports.
Bettia is a mainly muslim country, so any fans looking to have an away-day piss-up will be very disappointed. Our local tea and scones are very popular though, as are the famous Butetown meat pies which are widely available from many outlets around the stadium.
Bettia is reknowned for its natural beauty and glorious tropical weather, so any visiting fans wanting to make a vacation of their match are more than welcome. Favourite holiday destinations include the south coast (with its many pristine beaches and clear blue waters) and the Banastra Rainforest.

However, we do have a defence against this - the patented Azurlens™ blue-tinted sunglasses which made their debut at World Cup 33 to great effect, which help to nullify their opponents redness.

Another of Bettia's heroes of their early days, Bettison stepped into the gap left by his former team-mate Stuart Abdul-Rahim after the World Cup winning manager's well-earned retirement. He soon followed in his former team-mate's footsteps by leading Bettia to their second World Cup in WC35. Although rather basic by modern standards, Sakura Park can still produce a match to remember for fans. Nestled in the eastern suburbs of the capital city, Sakura Park has large banks of terracing at either end with all-seater grandstands lining the two sides.

A few facts about Northern Bettia:
Northern Bettians are well-known for their rowdiness and drunkeness, especially the feared Yuna Crew, a gang of hardcore hooligans who continually aim to make a name for themselves as the hardest firm in the NS-world (usually without much success).
Northern Bettia is environmentally a bit of a mess, with the interim government more concerned with bolstering miltary strength than cleaning up. A number of Northern Bettia's sporting teams are made up of military personnel who play football part-time, as do a few of the Fire Ants squad.

A shrewd, calculating character who instilled into his squad a unique tactic of bending the rules at every opportunity, making the Fire Ants as difficult to play against as possible.

Team Tactics:
The Fire Ants employ a rather unique tactic in which they attempt to gain the upper hand by getting as many of their opponents sent off as possible, leading many to accuse the Fire Ants of being a right bunch of bloody cheats. Hacking, diving, feigning injury, all sorts of ref-conning activity - Northern Bettia have quickly turned dirty play into a fine art. This style of play, dubbed System Obani by inept tabloid journalists, has had mixed results in the past - it sometimes works well, but when it backfires, it backfires spectacularly (hence the style modifier).

The Unified Capitalizt States, sometimes referred to as Commerce Heights (though not in formal writing), is a very large, very rich nation consisting of an area in Atlantian Oceania and of the entire planet Sirius D, the former Aquillan homeworld. It has no laws, other than a general prohibition on harming another person or their property except as permitted by contract. Many future-tech things are used in the UCS, including teleporters, spaceships, and extremely tall buildings, though most such technologies are too expensive for the general population.

There are two organizations based in the UCS that compete in the World Cup:

The first, and better known, is called Capitalizt SLANI, often shortened to SLANI. SLANI has competed since World Cup 25, and a previous organization, the CHFF (which is considered to be the same team, much like Serbia is considered the same team as Serbia and Montenegro IRL), competed between World Cups 7 and 25. SLANI also claims to inherit the record of Bedistan, which competed from World Cup 5 to 32. This claim is not generally recognized outside of the UCS, but it is the reason why their uniforms feature five stars above the logo (for Commerce Heights’s victory in WC15 and Bedistan’s in WCs 21, 26, 27, and 30). Prior to World Cup 30, when 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) first entered, Capitalizt SLANI’s team was known as Commerce Heights (which was, at the time, the official short name of the Unified Capitalizt States).

The other team is named 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn), often abbreviated JSY (but not Commerce Heights JSY, which is merely a contrivance to create a valid NS nation name), which has competed since World Cup 30 and qualified only once.

Stadia
Capitalizt SLANI and 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) will tour the many large stadia in the Unified Capitalizt States for their home qualifying games. Though each officially has a “home stadium,” this simply means that the other team may not play its home games there.

Barring exceptional circumstances, all home games played by either UCS team will sell out, and as many fans as are permitted will travel for away games.

Quality ratings for each of the venues are given. Keep in mind that a two-star stadium by Capitalizt standards would likely be a UEFA five-star stadium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Stadia_List) IRL.

Sokojito Überdome

Built for the infamous “CHO:P” World Cup 26 bid, the Sokojito Überdome is the largest known stadium in Atlantian Oceania. To allow for its massive capacity, teleportation devices are used to get spectators into their seats, which are inaccessible by other means. Aside from the final of World Cup 26, the Überdome has hosted several matches between Capitalizt SLANI and Krytenia, which have earned the stadium a reputation for very high-scoring games.

Esther Marchese Memorial Stadium

Esther Marchese Memorial Stadium is the most ambitious of the CHEAT Alliance’s (parent company of Capitalizt SLANI) stadium construction projects in the former East Bedistan. Though it does not meet the same high standards as Capitalizm or Drakcorp Querzakhi Olympic Stadium, it is still a top-tier venue by most standards.

Drakcorp Querzakhi Olympic Stadium

Drakcorp Querzakhi Olympic Stadium was built by the Spaamanian corporation Drakcorp for the Capitalizt club, Querzakhi United, that it purchased. It hosted the ceremonies and many of the events for the Games of the II Olympiad. Though the stadium has been around for about forty years, it was extensively renovated for the Olympics, and is much like a new stadium. It has some of the same advanced features as Capitalizm, and additionally has the ability to replace the pitch instantaneously by teleporting replacement pitches that are stored underground.

C4Stadion

C4Stadion, designed by the same architect that created Auswärtssieg Arena, is the newest of his state-of-the-art Lontorikan stadiums. The stadium is located inside a skyscraper (similar to a plan to rebuild Aeropag Olympic Stadium that never received funding), which includes parking and hotel accomodations. It is named after its sponsor, the Capitalizt Consolidated Conglomeration Corporation (C4), which is also responsible for the manufacture of both UCS teams’ kits.

JPL Paladin Stadium (자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) home stadium)

JPL (Jativa Power and Light) Paladin Stadium is a relatively new venue, built for the once-dominant Port Lusambo Paladins of the 자스연 리그 (Jasīʼyūn Ligī). Though many supporters have since switched their loyalty to the SLANI League’s KQ Qidádire Putemo, the Paladins still draw a decent crowd, and more should come to see 자스연 (Jasīʼyūn) in action. An article in the Aeropag Tribune about the RP bonus machine installed there has earned it the nickname “the Randome.”

Auswärtssieg Arena

Given the limited success and fan base of the local team, the Natestadt Nationalisten, the club successfully lobbied the owners for it to be given the name Auswärtssieg Arena, meaning “arena of away wins.” Although Capitalizt SLANI has not encountered many away wins there, the name has stuck. It is of fairly advanced construction, but does not quite match Capitalizm in the technology used. Still, it is regarded by many as the best sports venue in the UCS.

Aeropag Olympic Stadium

Aeropag Olympic Stadium was originally named the Orange–Green Bowl—a reference to the original football team that played there, the Aeropag Hurricanes. It is a fairly average stadium, not using particularly extravagant technologies nor having a significant local fan base that attends games played there, but is well-maintained.

Koepel van IJsselmeer

Koepel van IJsselmeer was a joint project by Capitalizt SLANI and the remnants of the Bedistani Football Association’s AFC IJsselmeer, which previously played its home matches in front of a 1500-seat temporary stand. Unity Stadium was built as a neutral venue in the International City of Paripana, a city that was constructed between the UCS, Bedistan, and Lontorika that is jointly administered by the three nations. After the fall of Bedistan and Lontorika and their integration into the UCS, the city became the nation’s capital. Its first use was to host some group matches during World Cup 8 in Bedistan, including those of the Commerce Heights team. It has since been renovated for use by the Capitalizt national teams, as well as by the Capitalizt club KQ Internepáïire and the now-defunct Bedistani club Internepáïire Bédistem.

World Cup 37 Roster

____Coach Bruce Lewis and the Kiryu-shi Football Alliance are going with the same exact formation and roster that they showed off in World Cup 36. Speculation that after the debacle in the Oriental Cup, several members of the national team will be reevaluated and sent off were apparently completely false, as it appears Bruce Lewis is completely confident with his squad. Bruce Lewis has been criticized for the lack of change in his strategies and formation since he formed the national team prior to World Cup 34, but he has had decent success with his team, and he appears to have a great understanding of what it takes to win football games.

____The Kiryu-shi football squad will remain with their traditional plain black or white uniforms. They will wear the white uniforms at home, and if the white uniforms conflict with the opposing team’s uniform, black uniforms on the road. Kiryu-shi fans have become notorious for all wearing the national team replica jerseys when they come out to support their team, creating a rather impressive visual effect.

____Although Sakaino University’s stadium only holds around 21 thousand fans, the pristine condition and the intimate feel of the stadium were enough for the KFA to keep international football held there. The local winery businesses were very happy for the visiters to the pleasant South Western area of Kiryu-shi, and they are looking forward to another World Cup to boost their revenues a bit.

Widely considered as an “eccentric” person, Jon Crow is actually just a simple man with a unique sense of self. Known for his creative sense of fashion, Crow refers to himself in the second person, leading several people to assume that he is a bit insane. However, off the football pitch, he leads a quiet life with a very pleasant wife and two young children. On the pitch, he is a vocal leader and acrobatic keeper, although he has never quite mastered all the mental aspects of being a top-class keeper. He counts on his defense quite a lot.

The long time co-captain of the national team, this is likely his last year playing football. He has announced his plans to leave the Kiryu-shi Football Alliance to live with his ailing fishermen fathers. A bachelor, he says he still has the ability to go back to fishing to make a living. He certainly still has the ability to play football. He is the leader of the defensive line from the center-back position. Pruet is properly aggressive in the penalty area, with the ability to solidly make the plays to get the ball away from the goal in a hurry. He is not a speedy player at all, and he relies on positioning more than speed to intercept opposing players.

Moya has suffered multiple injury problems throughout his career, and is another member of the national team who might retire after this World Cup. He is, however, not committed to any certain plan. He is a great one on one defender, and is technically extremely sound. He has incredible inner strength, allowing him to recover and battle through his pain.

The third part of Kiryu-shi’s core, the central defenders, he is a very different type of player than his two partners. He is an extremely excitable man with extreme physical talent, while he lacks part of the mental component of the game. He is easily caught out of position, but often has the speed to catch up and redeem his mistake. He has the ability to create attacking chances by blazing up field and firing up his teammates with his fiery passion.

One of the key players in Kiryu-shi’s formation, Levi has the unique job of supporting the best player on Kiryu-shi’s roster, Pat Mayberry. Levi has build up impressive chemistry with the midfielder, and together they will build up attacks on the right side of the field. Levi has the speed and the ball control ability to be an attacking force if given a little space. He is great at positioning himself to intercept passes defending, while his own passes seem to have a tendency to end up in the wrong place. He adds another crucial part to the team with his long throw in ability.

Sidney is an extremely versatile player, with a good deal of skill on both ends of the pitch. He tends to capitalize on the little chances he gets, but his offensive abilities tend to get overshadowed. He is just a very good all-around player, although he is not a vocal person in any way.

He is one of the smartest players on the Kiryu-shi roster, as well as one of the biggest. He uses his size, strength and smarts to dominate the middle of the pitch, although he is not that fast or flexible. He has great power to his kicks, and does take the occasional long shot. His size is also effective for both defending and scoring off of corner kicks.

Acknowledged as the best player in Kiryu-shi, Mayberry is the co-captain and offensive star. He possesses amazing talent, and has a star-type personality. The time that he doesn’t spend at Sakaino University is usually spent lecturing and giving speeches around Kiryu-shi. He is both an incredible talent, scoring and producing goals, and an incredible leader.

Diamanti is a solid player, but is often compared without praise to Mayberry. He does contribute with his specific set of skills, and is effective in his role, but just does not shine as bright as Mayberry. However, opposing teams can fall into the same trap that many fans make; focusing only on Mayberry. If Diamanti is not defended, he does have the ability to do a little trick, make a little goal, and get down tonight.

Hellen dictates the offensive pace from her role as the attacking midfielder in Kiryu-shi’s formation. She has incredible timing and accuracy on her kicks, allowing her the possibility to rack up an impressive total of assists every time she plays. She is also one of the most humble and quiet players in the entire team off the field, but leads by example on the field. She has great chemistry with the other members of the team, and is amazing at assessing a situation and quickly making a good decision, a key trait when Kiryu-shi is mounting a quick scoring attempt. She is not fast, but she is deceptively quick, and, combined with her great positioning, will often surprise defenders.

The only forward starting for Kiryu-shi, McGee is no longer the feared threat in the air as he once was. He can still play well for a half or so, but is probably going to be replaced by Emily Boyle partway through most games. Regardless, he is a dangerous weapon while he is playing, and has the ability to put the ball in the net using any means necessary.

Special Notes about Ulzaixds:

They aren't human or from earth. In other words they are aliens. And strange ones at that. A full Ulzaxid is made up of five different organisms morphed together. The five component parts are organisms similiar to a monkey, dolphin with gills, an eagle, a ferret and a slime mold. In full on form they are very large, fast, strong and dangerous. With claws and wings for flight. Fortunately they won't be using such full morphs during the competition. But rather smaller versions. All morphs contain at least the slime which can secrete an enzyme which allows them to morph together. They can morph with any organism, so if they are under attack at home matches will do so in self-defense. And considering they could kick the crap out of people anyways, I'd recommend against starting trouble in Ulzaxid. Ulzaxid stadiums are specially constructed to have special seating areas for each of the base organisms as well as morphs. So there are eagles sitting on poles above the field, a special pool area for dolphins and so on. The slime molds are telepathic so the coach and team don't make any noise during matches. At away matches the spectators will also be completely silent. At home matches the base forms of eagle, ferret, monkey and dolphin will make noise.

Clearly such a species won't be defecting to other countries. If you are interested in having a player of fan morph together with an Ulzaxid that might be possible. TG me. Other than that no one will be coming to Ulzaxid as a defectee. All Ulzaxids can brain share so they can all speak English or any other language as necessary. So anyone is availabe for interviews.

The lasane of the ASR

The rejistanian central state lost its authority after the allanean invasion, and while the Asene Sekhika Rejistania still exists, it can not really field a national team but merely a team consisting of players from different nations and nations-in-founding. This has the slight side effect that the team can no longer claim to be the Orange-Blues. Ad'ihan official roster for World Cup 37

Information about Ad'ihan:
Ad'ihan is a small protectorate - 15.4 square km in area - located within city limits of Ad'ihan City Centre (Outer Islands territory of Liverpool England). Ad'ihan is autonomous and self-governing, with its own legislature and laws. It does not have to subscribe to federal Liverpool England law. There is only one stadium in the protectorate, the aptly-named Protectorate Stadium, which has a capacity of 74,000 and is located on the outskirts of the protectorate.

For the purposes of this World Cup, the federal government in Liverpool England has built extra stadia to host matches.

There is only one way to get into the country, and that is to physically cross the border between Ad'ihan and the greater city area (part of Liverpool England). No airport serves the protectorate directly, Aéroport international d'Ad'ihan, located about 100 km east of the protectorate on the eastern coast of Île Grande, serves the Outer Islands in general.

The only official language of the protectorate is English, although French is commonly spoken as well as it is the main language of the Outer Islands territory.
