Several Multilandese citizens have been arrested for bringing cheese into the country. Some were arrested for throwing cheese at politicians after a cartoon promoted this, but most were arrested simply for posessing cheese.

Most were arrested for breaking Act 3 (Harm None Act) by contributing to animal cruelty and the maker of the cartoon has also been arrested for promoting cruelty to animals.

[i]...the Multiland Leadership are trying to have all of these people prosecuted and they will be calling for tough sentences and will be calling for the 'Barry the Lion' cartoon to be pulled off air permanently....

UPDATE: Under the Sentences Act, most people were given three weeks imprisonment. Three people who had brought cheese into the country on more than one occasion were sentenced to life imprisonment.
