This OOC thread is in conjuction with the IC thread found here:

Ilek-Vaad, I posted your military equipment thread here for ease of reference. If you want it removed, I shall edit accordingly.

No that's okay, that's always the first thing I post in OOC threads.

Also keep in mind if things start getting too future techy, I'm bringing in The Navigators! ;)

Right now the Vaadians are waiting (partly because Karmanyaka is on vacation) still hoping that SOMEONE in the Klatch will talk to them, but if that fails (almost a certainty at this point) they are going to sweep the Dyellians and Vrakians out of Karmnayaka, they know all the roads in from before, Karmanyaka has practically been home court for them lately.

As usual, they don't plan on any long drawn out invasions, like to Vrak or Dyelli Beybi (too complicated, too messy for Retaliatory Guard thinking) although they are doing everything they can to make it look like they are going that route.

Hopefully that doesn't mess up any body elses plans?

Oh, and The Nachxa is moving back to Port Olympus (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=533735) and of course his plans are never what anyone expects.

Well Corum Vaad is going to get to talk about all of this with the Vaadians....
Ilek-Vaad

Well, that won't help much, he doesn't have any real power :P

"How many divisions does the Vaad have?"
-Joseph Stalin
"Since he was made Regent? fourty-five divisions of Alconian Marines, twenty four naval battle groups, and we lost count of the aircraft, and no one knows how many blasted subs they have...."

The only way to talk the Vaadians out of war, is to have a Vaadian talk to them.

Plus his Velites Kerbals. But still, they want to hear assurances from actual Federation representatives.

No Prince Corum warming the seat of the Grand Duke. That's if any Alconians would actually accept him or fight for him?

But what if there are not any true represenatives of the Federation Government? I mean the JDF is defunct?

Sounds to me as if there has been a Dyellian Coup after the disapperance of President Llewellyn and the Federation Consuls...:(

Well, hopefully this thread will dissuade the "wanky" stuff, and personally I am loathe to bring in shiny new toys (even though I'm sure I can justify it due to industrial/tech/whatever standings) in a war.

As well, when you say that you are attacking Vrakian satellites, does this mean that you are attacking ALL of them or just the ones that are above your nation? I need to know before I make a post.

A&H: Yes, I too had noticed that JDF forces in Karmanyaka had been quietly replaced with Dyellian regular army..........

Vrak: Just the ones over, near our nation. Just a few so you realize our capacity to destroy them. IF your rep was still talking at Tollan, the Supreme Republican Commander would be telling him some interesting things.............

I won't call anything wanky unless you pop up something that I have no counter for. Parity is what I strive for. You have anti-satellite missiles, we have space shuttles with mass driver cannons, they meet the same need but don't necessarily trump the other.

As far as I know, this is the latest Klatchian map made by Karmanyaka:

@Ilek-Vaad: the Klatch has a massive space station called "Klatch One" which is, if I remember a giant floating brick which houses seveal Var gravships. So, yeah, that is FT but not sure if it can be adapted for strictly PMT. Such as a counter to your shuttles with mass drivers?

As far as it appears the JDF is presently mothballed...Who are the present Consuls???

I don't know, I'm not allowed to see :D

Plausible denialbility. It was The Velite Guard that has the EMP missiles, not the Retaliatory Guard, so Commander Ring isn't lying............. :D

@Alcona: Let me take a look. I do recall something done as far as who is running what at the moment.

@IV: shush! :)

@Karma: do you have a fairly detailed map of your state with terrain and whatnot?

edit: forgot to add this. Since this is more PMT than FT (and Vrak is decidely more of an odd mash of MT and PMT) I'll leave out the Stalkers (of which there aren't many in great numbers) and the SOATs (of which there are hundreds of thousands).

I'll bet that all the Consuls are Dyellians, of noble families.....................

Perhaps contrasted by the very common Bruces and Sheilas of Shielas and Bruces, that tag along

Second, Are you aware what the Klatchian Consuls are?

Just reading the Constitution, now.

Which I have a question....

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the Federated Klatchian Coast, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution" <-- in regards to who may be a consul. Does that mean at the time my nation joined any citizen of mine (at that time) may be a consul or does a child only born after we joined can become a Consul.

Are you sure you want my job? ;)

Actually my orginal intention with that phrase was that new states needed to wait a 'generation' before getting such a position of power. With so many of the orginal members now gone, there is a change in precidence that only people born in S+B before you joined (and adopted the constitution) can be a Consul*,
(*Effectively being a natural born citizen of a Klatchian State makes one a natural born citizen of the Klatch.)
or an individual who is a 'refugee' of one of the other states or one of the 'failed' states could be a S+B citizen and be elected Consul since they were a Klatchian Citizen before you adopted the constitution. I have always applied the rule that when a Klatchian State 'dies' that its population usually drops, but there are remainders of said society running about here and there.

Your the heckler, not the gate crasher.

If you were the gate crasher, the Nachxa would be running a huge confidence scheme in Port Olympus while the Retalitory Guard prepared to wipe out some Gonad Elves.

Oh, we're preparing to wipe some people out, they may not be elves though ;)

Vrak: I put a new post in the 'Riding the Avalanche' thread, if you wanted to continue that, if not just ignore it.

I don't mind continuing it. I thought perhaps we could split off the last few posts on that thread and make a new one. That way, our stuff (you and I) can be separate from the rest of that thread. As well, I'm guessing that the participants in that thread aren't exactly aware of outside events right now?

edit:

The Naval Guard still kept positions around South Haven and Banize Bay in the West and Costa-Tula in the South.

Sorry, IV, but do you have a recent map? I can't find those locations on the ones that I have. And I was certain there was something else important but it escapes me now.

edit2: ah, here we go. The s-400 triumf systems should, as far as I've been able to determine, intercept pretty fast moving targets. As well, while RL Russia didn't build the S-500, I think I can and have appropriate upgraded features although they would be in lesser numbers.

I don't think posting in it would be an issue, after all it was just Macikisican and me and DB in it really, but I'll start another thread if you like:
