1st International Games of Sel Appa (JISA1)

The Sel Appan Sports Committee (SASC) proudly presents the first edition of the International Games of Sel Appa (Les Jeux internationaux du Sel Appa--JISA). JISA's goal is to promote sporting around the world and in Sel Appa, as well as fostering international relations. Any nation is invited to send teams to compete in any event(s). Sel Appa is a free nation and welcomes all. Several events will take place, including potential demonstration sports.

Sports: (all competitions are for men, unless otherwise stated--sorry about the sexism; send up to the amount stated)
Archery-Sel Appans are renowned archers and almost everyone in Sel Appa has done archery at one time or another: many becoming competitive and professional. Traditionally, three ends of 10 arrows are shot and the highest score is accepted. (Archers may be women who can compete with men)

Canoeing-A popular pasttime in Sel Appa. During summers Sel Appans all over engage in boating for fun or for competition.

Equestrian-Many Sel Appans like to race horces through the countryside. Sel Appan horse racing is always cross-country and can be up to 25km in length. (Name the horses also; riders can be male or female)

Football(soccer)-The most popular professional sport in Sel Appa. Everyone plays and dreams of making the national team or even a professional team. The National Team, nicknamed the Turtles, has enjoyed success in international football and recently won Qazox's Second Oxen CUP.

Track-Sel Appans of all ages enjoy running races as soon as they can walk or run, even crawl.

Wrestling (Mongolian)-Wrestling is enjoyed mainly by siblings in their clashes, however, there is much competitive wrestling in Mongolian-style. Mongolian-style is competed on a grassy or soft field and two wrestlers, regardless of weight or size try to get their opponent's back, knee, or elbow to the ground.

Demonstration Sports
Cricket-This sport has a moderate following in Sel Appa, focusing more on the small professional league that imports nearly half of its players. The sport is gaining popularity

Ice Hockey-The second most popular professional sport in Sel Appa. Many enjoy watching domestic teams compete, more so than the national team.

Table Tennis-A quite popular indoor game in Sel Appa, it is mainly played between schools. (21 point games)

Tetherball-While not exactly a professional sport, it does enjoy widespread popularity and is a more amateur sport. Many take it very seriously and are very competitive. (Best 2 of 3)

RPing has no effect on results. Dice, simple spreadsheet scorination, NSFootySim 1.2.4, and Oliverry's Hockey Scorinator will be used. For the spreadsheets, a minimum result is set and a range of possible scores is multiplied by a random number (0-1). The random number is bell-curved ((RAND+RAND)/2).)
