Golgothastan

Sorry just to have an out of character post and not the obligatory introductory roleplay post that then festers for weeks, but I'd like to see if anyone is interested in helping with this before going ahead with it (or rather, to see if there's any point going ahead with it). I have not done very much roleplaying, and none at all with Golgothastan on NationStates, but I want to give it a try because it is the summer holidays and I am hence bored.
The premise is this: Golgothastani (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Golgothastan) politics are being increasingly dominated by fluffarchism (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=12583263#post12583263). But the vague, fragmentary and downright silly nature of this doctrine means there is considerable internal division within it, and a fringe group of radical fluffarchists are mounting plans to stage a coup and implement a Fluffarchist Agenda for the New Age. Like all good radicals, they have completely forgotten their political roots and are all about getting their own way. I have not decided whether they fail completely, or briefly manage to gain power before being toppled, but either way at some point they will fall, having had a few successes along the way. Clearly, I will roleplay the assorted groups within Golgothastan.
What I am basically looking for is anyone who managed to get through that prior paragraph without closing the window in abject disgust. If you've managed that, then you're more interested in this roleplay than I am. Clearly, Golgothastani internal politics might be considered of little consequence to the wider world, but here are some of the ways I think other nations might get involved:
Foreign news (there would appear to be nine thousand BCs for every letter of the alphabet...).
Aid agencies, peacekeeping, and, in the unlikely event the radical fluffarchists permit elections, international observers. Given the NationStates UN doesn't really work like that, these are mostly national agencies, I assume.
Foreign intervention. This is more likely to come in the form of supporting a particular faction - there are right-wing anti-fluffarchists, as well as the moderate government side, to get involved - than anything, and deciding to nuke/orty/invade Golgothastan will be appropriately ignored (unless some fantastically good reason for such can be produced).
Tourists and random observers. Maybe some of your students have come to Golgothastan to sample our psychedelic wonders; maybe your environmentalists are attending our annual Tree Hugging Festival.
Trade concern. A radical fluffarchist state might well close its borders to trade, whereas current president Bort Chocowitz has tried to pursue free trade within an ethical framework. Granted I haven't previously roleplayed trade ties with anyone, but that could be an obvious adducement for other nations to get involved.
Poleetickal struggle. Fluffarchists from other nations? Different political groups who view fluffarchism as a force for good or evil?
Roleplaying Golgothastanis. I will allow people to do this, providing they demonstrate they would do so reasonably and responsibly. Otherwise, I shall roleplay all Golgothastanis, unreasonably and irresponsibly.
Other. However you see fit.
I would really like if others would help write this, in however involved a manner they like; I will provide any more details as required. All I ask is that you be prepared not to take it too seriously ('fluffarchism' may have been a clue in this regard).
