Representatives from the Bazalonian ministry of the Arts, the body that is responsible for managing the hosting duties for the contest had sent all the paperwork required to the competing nations. Who would represent their nation in the contest and who would end up the winner?

"So are the results in?"

"Yes, this is for WorldVision...hey, what are those dinky letter Is doing over there?"

"It makes it look...classic."

"Oh. Well. Um...apparently some rock group won."

"The more people, the more votes?"

"I'm not sure. It's some garage band quartet: Hell's Irate Puppies, I think they're called."

"And what are they performing?"

"Dep Frez."

"Look, Rejistanian gets votes, but Algebraic can't be counted as a foreign language."

"Tell it to them..."

So here we are, in WorldVision Song Contest number 3 I's. So, who's representing us this time.

Well, first off it's just contest numer three. Not three I's. Now to-

I know I was making fun of their desicion to use roman numerals. The "classic" look is completely inappropriate for a song contest.

Don't blame me, we decided our vote was going to be for Fattyboland.

Um... Okay. Let's get on with the actual song selection.

Again. It was way to hard the last time, and we need to ged ideas down for a good hosting bid, the bradcasting company want to have one next contest. Can't we just let the people vote?

I don't think the broadcasting company will let us do a vote. Besides i'm sure they'll have trouble deciding.

So? At least it won't have to be unanimous, so it will take quicker.

The broadcasting won't let us use their time for this.

We give them a favour then. Let's say we charge for the calls and give them the money.

Alright. So, do we try look like the guys on Piosenka Dla Swilasjii?

Of course!

(Broadcasted on TV)

Alright, here we are, the WorldVision group Khenas, on what's the channel called again?

Royal Broadcating Service! Duh!

on Royal Broadcasting Service Television. We here to say that for this contest, and maybe the ones after this one, you get to choose what song is representing us in this contest! To vote, simply send us an SMS, with the number of the song. and now...

show them the video's the sent us already!

(songs are shown)

----

and now the votes are got. The song which represents your country is...

Khenas Sucks, by A band without a name.

Wait that's not right. did he forget their name?

No he did not. it's actually called "A band without a name"

But they entered as joke! How could they win?

The vote was your idea.

Aw jeez! This is going to be like Wentland in the first contest. Why won't people stop with these pranks already?

The vote was your idea! Stop blaming this on others!

"And that was the first Sorthern Northland Worldvision Song Contest decision final , and what a show it was and now it's time for you to vote for your countries entry for the third Wolrdvision Song Contest"

"Yes what a great show, lots of controversy as well, with The Hijuks dissapearing mysteriously just before the show"

"What were they thinking? They should have known that writing a song criticising the Dear Leader Comrade Ben O'Bagels would have got them into a sticky situation"

"And don't forget Wombalombabommba being arrested yesterday on the President's orders as well, strange stuff."

"Well anyway onto the acts who did make it to tonights events, lets have a quick looks back at both of them."

*The viewers are given a quick reminder of what the songs were.*

"Well there you go, you've got a choice of Berlin by Mvela or A One Two Three by The Jimmys, you can vote by phone, SMS, or the red button, you have 15 minutes to vote starting now"

*During the 15 minutes voting period a government properganda film is shown which tells viewers to be on the look out for imperialist spies such as The Hijuks and Wombalombabommba*

"Five, four, three, two, ones stop voteing, the lines are now closed we have counted all the votes and we can reveal that Sorthern Northland's representative at the Third Worldvision Song Contest in...

"Where is it being held?

Dont know they havn't decided that yet.

Oh wait hold on I think its in Bazalonia"

"Sorthern Northland's representative at The Third Worldvison Song Contest in Bazalonia will be.... *drumroll* Mvela with thier song Berlin."

"Thank you for watching and goodnight."

"And welcome to the Singing Baza - Wha?!" started the host who apparently who had just been told in her earpiece about something.

"Oh, I'm sorry to announce that Singing Bazalope will be on a permanent Hiatus, I don't why or for what reason but replacing this show for now will be the Fluffy Bunny Hour. We now take you to the first episode."

The TV flcikered of and came back alive again with an old granny sitting in a rocking chair knitting some unknown item of woollen clothing. "Hello," she said in a old raspy voice. "It's old granny here, you ready to sing the Fluffy Bunny song?" She cusped her hand to her ear as if she was attempting to hear the chorus of children through the TV screen. "Alright then here, we go..."

Pulling a guitar from what seemed to be out of nowhere she started to play, luckily this didn't last for long as the TV that was being was turned off.

"So what now?!" said some suit in an board room type room in some office somewhere in Bazalonia.

"Well, we gotta do our own auditions."

"But, that would take ages to organise and seriously delay the hosting of the world cup... sorry I mean the WorldVision Song Contest eye-eye-eye. Who's idea was it to use Roman Numerals anyway?"

"Don't look at me? Anyway what else are we going to do just randomly pick a song that we see on TV, like that Fluffy Bunny Song?"

The others at the table looked at each other... "Oh, no, no you don't. I know what you are thinking."

"Too late, your the only descenter."

"What you haven't taken to a vote."

"I move that the Fluffy Bunny Song by Old Granny will represent Bazalonia in the WorldVision Contest. All in favour?"

Everyone except one voice said "Aye"

"All against.."

"Neigh" said the one singular voice.

"With only one dissention carried, congratulations too the Fluffy Bunny Song."

"It's not like they can hear you know."

"Whatever."
Scotchpinestan
25-06-2007, 04:10
The inaugural contest to determine Scotchpinestan's entry into the Worldvision Song Contest was an intense battle, as expected. Hundreds of acts auditioned, only to be booed off the stage. In the end, three acts remained for the national TV audience to choose from. They each had one last chance to perform and impress somebody.

- First up was Seizure, who brought their bagpipe-infused brand of rock on their song "Girl, Why Can't We?"

- Then came Maria Fenwick-Ross with her folk-pop-rock hit "Shame".

- And finally, the Banjo Men were in their usual high-stepping, fast-plucking form on their hit "Grab Some Alcohol".

Everyone knew the vote would be close.

Finally, the moment came as host Mick Freeloader held the envelope.

"We've had three wonderful acts this evening. Any of them would represent Scotchpinestan well. But only one act will get that opportunity this year.

"And that act is...

"Seizure!"

Seizure - Girl, Why Can't We?
Quakmybush
25-06-2007, 05:33
Welcome to the finals of Quakmybush, to see who goes to WorldVision. Here are the final three acts;

Vinny and The Snitches - a punk band based in Jinkton City, very anti governemnt.

Vacant Garden - a pop rock band from Revena, most old people love them.

The Steel Workers - a death metal band based in Fort Erie, they all grew up near steel mills, so they claim to have metal in their blood.

The votes came in, and The Steel Workers were the winners, with there song, The 101 Guidelines to Being Metal.

A report on 'This Is Our Sound', by a reviewer for telereview.kp

So here we are then, with one of those events you just can't help but be excited about. The emergence of this new country, now incorporating Ostland as well, is built at least in part around national and international contests, and this is one where Kura-Pelland stands a genuine chance. That is, if the voters make a good decision.

They certainly can't be accused of a lack of choice - no fewer than twelve acts are performing tonight, and we are told that voting will be regionalised and in WorldVision style, with 12 points for first, 10 for second, eight for third and declining by one point per place thereafter. Is it disappointing that the regionalisation is still intact? Maybe, but you can see what they're doing. Six regions exist, split by phone area code. Most points overall wins.

Enough of that. Let's go with the twelve acts.

- Mary Corsten starts us off with This Is The Moment. It's balladry-by-numbers, starting in C major and ending in D major, and while it's pretty well sung it's quite frankly dull. Moving swiftly on...
- Stephen Storm has bought a bunch of acrobats with him on stage to perform Flip It Up. It's half-sung, half-rapped, and all-energy. It's memorable, as it needs to be from this slot of doom.
- Alphabeticals are a multi-racial rap-rock group performing A-B-See Us. This might be the worst idea in Kura-Pelland's musical history, even if they were in tune. And they're not.
- Singular are also multi-racial but they're a gospel choir, performing We Are One. Pass the sick bucket. If the rest are like this, Stephen Storm can start making plans for the final.
- Ali Barber Crew are all-black from the mean-ish streets of Porterbridge in Ostland. Thankfully, no alphabet pun in the title, but Goin' For It is a bad song badly performed. All the good acts are to come, surely?
- MC Posseball is yet another rapper. They'll only end up stealing each other's votes. Or more likely given the lyrical sharpness and dancing goodness of Anything's Posseball, this guy will steal the lot. We have a contender at last, but it's still not great.
- Bobby Jackson is a crooner of the deepest and dullest order. He's got a good song though, Find Our Way is effortlessly pretty but needs a better, less limited voice for it to find its way to victory.
- Adam and Clare Witt are brother-and-sister, dressed up as sheep. Lamb Chop is possibly the most surreal song ever, a mixture of orchestral backing and comedy rapping about the concept of 'vegetarian lamb'. The audience are unable to stop themselves from laughing. They're in prime position to clean up votes from those who hated the earlier songs, and that has to be a lot of people.
- The Clouds are a generic rock group. Soar is a decent pop-rock anthem with a catchy chorus, and it ought to be enough for them to easily beat most of the acts that have performed so far. Only problem is being seen as 'the ones after those sheep people'.
- Formula Busters are yet another rap group. Oh wait, they're beatboxers too. Excel What The Slani Hell sounds like it's trying to win votes in the mean streets of Rejistania, but it's another properly amusing entry, especially with a female background vocalist singing very high indeed.
- Zoe Whittock isn't that female background vocalist. She could have been, though. We Are Together is a very minimal, almost ethereal ballad, that slowly builds to an anthemic climax showing off Zoe's impressive range. It's greeted with a huge reception, and it feels like a winner, even if it's less memorable than the Witts or Formula Busters.
- Vincenzo Dettori looks like an opera singer, and Emergent confirms that he sounds like one too. There's good reason for that, too. He is. It's another ballad, but not as good as the last one so stands no chance.

And the vote? It's here. (http://escnation.com/scorewiz/show.html?id=19563)

The result?

(highlight if you are happy for it to be spoiled without watching the vote)

Wordvision Regional Finals, Lyonessa

When the commercial ends, the camera returns to an overview of the Royal Lyonne Hall in Lyonne City, the capital of the Grand Duchy of Lyonessa. The image is replaced by a smiling blonde presenter on a stage in front of thousands of cheering people.

"Welcome back to the Worldvision Regional Finals, where the winner will go on to represent Lyonessa in the Worldvision 3 Song Contest!" At first she looks into the wrong camera but then quickly finds the right one as her tall male co-host enters stage left.

"That's absolutely right, Amelia," the man named Uri says, smiling (at first also into the wrong camera and finally the correct one). "We are down to the final three contestants. Will they please join us on stage!"

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back... The Guilt!" Amelia calls out and two shaggy-haired young men dressed in tuxedos bounce out onstage waving their electric guitars above their heads. On the large screen behind the stage, a short clip of their punk rock song Who Needs Piano's is played with footage from their speaker-busting performance earlier that evening.

"Please welcome back... the lovely Willemina Nicholson!" Uri calls, and from the opposite side of the stage a busty brunette in a flattering red dress with long flowing hair walks on, waving to the crowd. On the screen, a clip of her sitting at the piano playing her folk pop song It's Over Now appears, also with live footage from earlier that night.

"And finally, please welcome back... Andreas de Villiers!" Amelia calls again. A dark haired metrosexual looking man dressed in a smart shirt and too-tight pants enters the stage, waving to the crowd. On the screen, a clip from his jazzy Eurodance hit Metro Motion plays, with footage of him gyrating on stage with dancers from earlier in the evening.

As the contestants all stand nervously in the center of the stage with painted-on smiles, Uri is handed an envelope by a somber, official-looking man. "Now, ladies and gentleman, the time has come to reveal the first winner of the Lyonessa's Worldvision Regional Finals!" He opens the card and smiles handing it to Amelia to read.

Amelia takes it and looks mysteriously into the camera. "And the winner is... Willemina Nicholson!"

The camera immediately zooms in on Willemina who clasps her hands to her face in surprise as she is hugged and congratulated by her fellow contestants. The crowd goes wild as flowers are thrown onto the stage and streamers fall from the sky.

"There you have it, ladies and gentleman! Our first finalist for Worldvision 3. We wish Willemina all the best of luck," Uri says as a piano is brought out from behind the stage. The two presenters walk off stage and Willemina seats herself at the piano and begins to play as credits roll across the screen.

Backstage something goes wrong with the sound, and instead of listening to the music of the song, viewers here Amelia and Uri's conversation.

"Andreas must be pissed as hell," Amelia says. "He really thought it was going to be home."

"Tough [censored], I guess. It wouldn't suprise me if politics was involved," Uri responds. "I hear Willemina's dating the brother of the wife of the Grand Duchess' nephew. Damn royals always stick their fingers in every pie."

"Speaking of that, I got my jacuzzi fixed. Want to come over [censored]."

The program suddenly ends and is replaced by the Royal Broadcasting Corporation logo.

"We ended up with a deaf-mute."

Rejistania
01-07-2007, 15:54
The WorldVision national final took place in Estera kalesa, Hetkali, nanti simu, Rejistania. Again 8 artists, 2 from each nanti were allowed to the national competition. Again, it was one of the most important dates in the calender of many Rejistanis. Billions were in front of some form of a TV.

Nanti kansu was represented by Heku Lyku and his song "toheri'ma 'kilan" (the next world can wait). The obligatory love song by the obligatory good looking male person.

The second representative was Seaho~r H~siva ve tesha veka (Seaho~r H~siva and the good times), a najajaran. His song was called "ly ry se ke him'jiha" (360 degrees), It is a pop/rock song in which the singer states how much he changed and asks his fiancee to forgive him. Later in the song, his husband enters the stage and a duet starts.

After that, nanti likhat had the stage and their first representative was a group called Lanjamesit with a rocky song about "Menhes'ny, menhes'ny (redy)" (drugs, red drugs), which is about drugs and how they love making and using them (any drugs are legal in Rejistania if they are produced by oneself for ones own consumption). The song is rather ironical and at stages becomes cynical and a subtle critic on the politics which they think are too restricting.

The second nanti likhat representing band was Kurudi ri. Their song was called "tekne'xen" it is typical Kurudi ri style and deals with the fact that we all have a responsibility towards this planet. This song was most popular among the progressi-rejistanis.

Nanti korona (or KaMaRi kali) had again "Ha~o La Sen" their song for this year was "tansaha'ny" (birds) and told the story of the tahiakan. a monster which men could not defeat. In Rejistanian tradition this is a story against class and caste differences but for obeying tradition.

Their second representative was N.Ixi Ni. They are maybe the most extravagant and the most weird duo in Rejistania and their song "kansa'ny'aru'ta" (the gods don't exist) has stirred much controversy among the religious rejistanis.

Eventually the high north had its time. Nanti simu was represented by Kansu ve karma (kansu and karma) and by Kansu'Kekeken (kansu of Kekeken). "xen'aru" is for once not a sad song by the a capella choir Kansu ve Karma. It celebrates the versatility of life in all of its forms.

Kansu'kekeken is the silly band of this evening. They wear costumes of comic figures and sing in high-pitched voices about "denma'xe janek" (my tiny heart). Some people booed while most applauded.

The winner will be announced soon.

Also I noticed someone's got a song called First Date which is a song by Blink 182.

Still he did not say the artist was blink 182, and there are cases in RL where you have unrelated songs with the same title.

The Pettes' song will have absolutely less-than-zero resemblance to anything perpetrated by Blink 182, I hope, on the basis that I have never heard the Blink 182 "song".

Yeah, as Rejis said I took "What about me", and totally reworked the lyrics... all new lyrics while still having the same basic message and made it into "What about her"

So, I used a RL song as inspiration but with the new lyrics it was an entirely new song. As for the Fattyboland, song... I'm currently unsure, but benefit of the doubt!

Furthermore, he gave the full scores, so there's a very simple (both IC and OOC) procedure for removing the song if desired and replacing it with the runner-up (or more accurately, the joint winner, Shiite Sisters Of Soul, who sound far more interesting to RP anyway IMHO).

Though I personally object to what he's doing, I can't see it mattering much. If you disapprove, you could always give it nil points ;)
Linker Niederrhein

The dull thudding of the drums permeated the hall, never stopping, rarely slowing down, consistently assaulting ear and mind alike in between the sharper, aggressive attacks orchestrated by guitars, flutes and bagpipes, by violins and pianos, by keyboards, trumpets, lyres and trombones, and, of course, the voices, male and female alike, high and low, aggressive and soothing, melodic or almost as if spat at the audience, which itself willingly took it upon itself to continue the neverending attack on its own ears, participating like one voice, a deep growling choir filling the hall, leaving it, and rising towards the cloud-covered skies to finally merge with the rumbling of an approaching thunderstorm.

As the saying goes, it'd been an interesting evening.

Many had participated - rockbands from the east, trashers from the north, disciples of metal in the west, and failed pop chicks from Bavaria had all attempted to have their tastes to succeed.

Not that anyone (Other than the hilariously (un)dressed pop chick) had taken the contest serious - indeed, among most of them, participation in the event was considered almost insulting, the end of a career. However, regardless of all this, it was fun, and well - who would refuse some fun? Lay off the serious attitude for a little while, enjoy the evening, deride all those not listening to one's particular kind of music...

It was all in good fun, and perfectly enjoyable, so long as one didn't attempt to take it serious.

The voting? It'd almost been forgotten, but the eventual results were as follows:

My Touch by Fanny Bi - 0.8 %
Rocket Race by Rush in the Rain 17.2 %
Sunk Sewer City by Technophobia 40.1 %
The Way of all Flesh by Furor Teutonicus 41.9 %

The monotonous drumming swelled to a crescendo of ear-destroying proportions, deafening out all noise - all noise except, of course, the two remaining contestants, who played again, for the final voting round that'd provide them with the much sought-for result, telling them who'd represent Linker Niederrhein in the upcoming 'Contest' (Neither one really cared about winning, mostly doing it for the hell of it all, which was a pretty good reasoning, all things considered).

Sunk Sewer City by Technophobia 49.2 %
The Way of all Flesh by Furor Teutonicus 50.8 %

Furor Teutonicus would perform The Way of all Flesh at the third World Vision Song Contest.

Woah !!! My contestants are being shunned by the WorldVision community before they have even left their home country - that sounds very ... not nice

H-Town Tejas
03-07-2007, 00:31
The Tejanos had never entered anyone in the WorldVision Song Contest. But, hey, there was a first time for everything. There had been a massive onslaught of entries, many from artists nobody had ever heard of before. There wasn't any popular vote with the Tejano people, but that was because there were too many songs.

But, the Tejano People's Recording Bureau had, at the end of the day, picked a song. It was by an underground Tejano rapper from Nuevo Ayacucho, Kondou Ren. The TPRB hadn't signed him, and after listening to the song they would have, and he had never been on the charts, but the song, Teraoka Story, was one of the most downloaded off the many sites for underground rappers in Tejas. A similarly unknown artist, a female R&B singer named Kurata Kokoro, sang the song's chorus.

Their decision was made. Head of the TPRB, Wada Yousuke, announced the winner of the competition.

And now we present the island's winning entry, "Round & Round" by The Coins.

(OOC: Put this to a tune in your head that fits - something nice and rocky, though)

Lights are shining down the grove, it’s Friday night again,
My girl’s just been and left me, and I drink to hide the pain;
Thinking ‘bout the times we had and I just wanna die,
And the records that are playing they just make me wanna cry.

Time for change, that’s what he said, nothing true for me;
Club lights beckon all around, but I’m too blind to see.
Then I hear the bass and beat, and my feet hit the floor,
And the music calls me over, no worries not no more.

(crescendo)

Two hundred beats a minute just go thumping through my head
DJ on the floor again, and this is what he said:
We make you get on your feet, when you hear the sound;
Just can’t stop the beat that spins you
Round and a-round and round!

Spinning in my head,
I reach out for the light,
My brain is scrambled overeasy,
I don’t care tonight.

Lights are shining in my head, Saturday sunshine,
Eight hours just gone missin’ must be out my mind.
Thinkin ‘bout the times I had with rock and roll my king,
Roll over in the covers, ‘cause now the sleep’s the thing.

Time to rise, that what you said, not the time for me,
Sunlight shines into the room, but I’m too bright to see.
Radio plays bass and beat, pumps open my eyes,
And the music washes over, and I feel my heart beat rise…

(crescendo)

Two hundred beats a minute just go thumping through my head
DJ on the floor again, and this is what he said:
We make you get on your feet, when you hear the sound;
Just can’t stop the beat that spins you
Round and a-round and round!

The Coins won 51% of the vote, way ahead of Gloria Mackay, whose second-placed "Play The Fool" scored just 18%.

Bomblean finals, Capital City Square, Capital City, Bomble

A small, largely disinterested crowd gathered in Capital City Square, Bomble. Today was the final of the Bomblean WorldVision Song Contest III entry. A large, overly hairy man with a shit-brown suit stood on the stage. It began to rain.
"Due to the National Hall being booked by the National Underfloor Insulation Installation Society, we have been forced outside. Unfortunately, there are no refreshments due to the death of our 98 year old caterer, Doris. But, as they say, the show must go on!" He said.
The crowd began looking dishevelled and decidedly uninterested.
"Umm, but there is the public torture of "The Chip-Shop Vandal", Gary Murchison afterwards!"
The crowd erupted into a frenzy of clapping and jubilant cheering. The hairy man on stage looked nervously sideways to the stage manager, who tapped his watch impatiently.
"Without further ado, let me intoduce our first act of the day, Turdhouse!"

_________________________________________________________________

The crowd clapped politely after the last act of the day. It had grown due to the impending public torture.
"Well done there, well done!" The hairy man shouted, running onto the stage.
"Well, it's the end of the show, and...." There was a huge cheer from the crowd. The man looked annoyed.
"Well, it's the end of the show, and it's now time to decide who will advance to the WorldVision Song Contest III!" He said once more, thrusting his right fist skyward in excitement.
Silence.
"Ok, as we can't trust your votes, our panel of expert judges have decided for you. As you know the performers were: The Parking Attendants, with "Fine (Just Pay It)". Turdhouse, with "Is Love Meant to be This Colour?". Boz and the Hooligans, with "Kill and Destroy!". Eric Flubbert, with "Turnip Groove". And finally, Jessica Skankenstein, with "I've Got Boobs and You Haven't". A quality list of professional acts, committed to representing Bomble with pride."
Just at that moment, Gary Murchison arrived in an unmarked white van. The crowd eagerly rushed over to it, leaving one lone man behind.
"The winner is Eric Flubbert, singing "Turnip Groove"." The host said without feeling.
The lone man jumped in the air madly and danced around the square, shouting. The Bomblean finals were over.

I don't know. If you do, my country's commentary will want your song to get nul points. Then again, they pretty much think that about every song.

It's that time of year again guys! Not the song contest yet, but we are getting quite close to it! And you know what this means! We have to select a song! This is what we're here for right now on Piosenka Dla Swilasjii! So that you, the audience, can choose who our next representative in the WorldVision Song Contest will be. Anyway, rather then doing an elimination tournament like the last two times, we have decided to directly select the song directly from a list of 15. This will hopefully pave the way for WorldVision-style voting in the near future. And here are the enteies:

Entry number 1:
Let's get Drunk, by The Frozen Ice
Well, we're not really sure how to classify this entry by genre. It's some song by a high-school band, typical alcohol-and-sex type stuff. And the band's name is also quite ridiculous. Ever seen any Ice that isn't frozen?

Entry number 2:
Śmierć nadejdzie jutro (remix), by +,real
Some kind of techno remix of some song from a few years ago. Not sure if this is really original enough for the contest, but many changes have been made.

Entry number 3:
Fayala Sanie, by Biało Niebieskie
I know this is WorldVision, which means all the songs are silly, but this is definately the silliest song so far. Here in Swilatia, we already have multiple languages to choose from, and these had to make their own. I'm not sure if the singers themselves have any idea what they are singing about.

Entry number 4:
Kocham Codziennie, by Michał Wenejski
Another silly love song. The song's okay, but i'm not really sure about entering it. The Worldvision song contest already has too many love songs, we don't need to add to this.

Entry number 5:
Robbin' Da Bank, by Gangsta Brothas
Stereotypical violent hip-hop "music". Not much more to say here, is there?

Entry number 6:
Stacja Białorzeczna, by Hamburger
A song about the "attractions" at the station of Biała Rzeka, just outside Vilvek I don't really know, but it seems to be a bit plagiarised from some other songs.

Entry number 7:
Bang Bang Bang, by Fair
The lyrics here don't make much sense either. But i wouldn't say it's as silly as #3, as here it's at least it's just random sounds, not something sung entirely in an imaginary language.

Entry number 8:
Swilatian Pride, by Andrzej Mickiewicz
A patriotic song, as made obvious by the title. The song is definately well-writen by at least WSC standards, but the concept might not seem approprate for beong entered into an international song contst, and most Swilatians are not really that proud of their country.

Entry number 9:
Wating 4 U, by Haj-Fi
Well, with Lovisa not participating this year, I guess some people are thinking it's our turn to submit a crappy polish language dance, pop, whatever else you call it.

Entry number 10:
High and Stoned, by Michał i Michał
A song about using drugs. It's... quite good, but is this really the thing to send to an international contest? I mean, sure, all drugs are legal here in Swilatia, but who knows how other, less liberal, countries might react to this.

Entry number 11:
Need you Here, by Niezwykłe
The other love song in our national final. A bit different from the first one, considering this one's done by a silly boy band, but mostly it's just another love song.

Entry number 12:
Welcome to CBBC, by Grupa CBBC Swilasja
Alright, so this song sounds basically sounds like an advertisement for the Cute Bunny Burger Company, and it probably is an advert. So the first question is if an advert is suitable to represent a country in WorldVision. My guess is no. The second question is how the hell this got into our national final. I'm not sure what the answer to this one is.

Entry number 13:
Let's Save The World Today, by Niezwykłe
A song about all that the band who wrote this song thinks is wrong with the world today. At least it doesn't claim this is the end like the one in WorldVision 1 did.

Entry number 14:
Flying the Red Flag (for you), by Sierp i młot
A communist song, by a band made up of members of the Swilatia communist party. Not sure if this propaganda or not. *hmm... maybe I should vote communist in the next election...*

Entry number 15:
Khenas Sucks, by A band with no name
Wait... this band's from Khenas, isn't it? What the hell are they doing in our contest. Is representing one country not enough

So, yes, go online to www.piosenka-dla-swilasjii.swi to vote for whichever song you want so see represent Swilatia in the contest.

3... 2... 1...

Fourth Place: High and Stoned!
Third Place: Kocham Codziennie!

St Samuel hasn't been on NS for 10 day, and hasn't been on the forum in 23. Zockerland has also been rather inactive, and, to tell the truth, I don't expect Romulan senate to post a song. I suggest we just go ahead with it. If they REALLY want to submit a song, let them do it mid-contest. People will lose interest otherwise. We have a lot of entrants and the contest is going to take some time, so they have a couple of weeks to submit a song really, if we go ahead with it now.
