Okay, in the light of several beauty pageants (yeah, as a kid I used to watch Miss Universe every year), I thought, why shouldn't we create a beauty pageant RP? I am looking for folks who are interested in the idea.

Here's what I'm thinkin': we need three or five players who would RP judges; countless contestants, and yours truly as the host/organizer (but not contestant/judge, to avoid bias).

Here's how I think it would go: the first wave of RP would be introducing the contestants (name, country, age, vital stats, brief bio, make 'em talk.) And in order to reduce the number of rounds of RP, the first wave would also contain the evening gown competition.

Then the five judges would send me a private message/TG containing the scores for each contestant.

The second wave of RP would be the swimsuit competition, and then after that, the judges would again send me a private message containing scores.

I would compute the top 5, and they would enter the final round.

As for the final round, it would be a question and answer portion. I'd just send the finalists with a private message containing the question. They will reply to me with an answer. When all of the answers are there, I would post them at the same time.

Judges would then score the answers and send them to me. I would then compute who would win.

(I wonder though, if the scores in the evening gown and swimsuit should be added to the scores in the final round.)
(If you are a judge, your puppets are not allowed to join, for the sake of fairness.)

Suggestions and comments very much welcome. I would like your input, as I am very new to RP, much less organizing one. (But I want experience, hehe.)

(Oh, I'm thinking of a name, perhaps "Miss Multiverse", or something... and would it be better if there are three or five judges??)

I think you need to figure out what they will be judged on. That is to say, in real pagents they are judged on appearance or what have you... so in this... is it the description of the appearance?

They'll probably have to post pictures of their contestants. Now, it doesn't mean you have to get a real contestant; you can use Britney Spears or Katherine Moennig or Beverley Mitchell or whomever person you fancy. (as long as you have an evening gown and a swimsuit picture)

if the paegent will be of NS people I wish to apply to be in the paegent, I would use it as a way to promote a day of world peace during the pagent.

Well, the judges in RP should ask them things like:

- Why should you be Miss Multiverse?


or ask them to RP singing like in the World Vision thread
