Hierarchy

Commander of Ground Forces: Grand General (General Veers)

Ground Forces

Infantry are organised in Legions of 1 000 Fighting Infantry which are divided into Centuries of 100 and Squads of 10. Troopers or groups of Troopers are recognised by their Legion, Century and Squad.

Cavalry/Armoured Legions are of 100 vehicles which are divided into Centuries of 10 vehicles.

Artillery Legions are of 100 pieces which are divided into Batteries of 10 pieces.

A Colonel commands a Legion, a Sergeant a Century/Battery, a captain a Squad. A corporal is second in command of every Squad.

Infantry Squads

Googlewooper Infantry are an elite. Each trooper is trained for an extraordinary period of time before entering service including basic medical, mechanical and airborne training. A Squad of Troopers can survive as a unit cut off from supply for up to a week in appropriate conditions.

Typical Infantry Squads are of 5 Assault Troopers, a Combat Medic, a Combat Sniper, a Heavy Support Trooper, a Heavy Munitions Trooper and a Long Range Radio Trooper. Each of the special Trooper kits is optional and mission specific.

Artillery Legions

Artillery Legions are Howitzer or Light Field Gun Legions. Howitzer Legions are semi permanent gun emplacements transported by S-70T Black Hawk Helicopter while Light Field Gun Legions are mobile forward combat units towed by HMMWV vehicles and equipped for Infantry Combat.

Logistics Forces

Field Logistics Forces are Support or Field Medical Units and are of 1 000 personnel each.

Support Battalions can generally support one Ground Forces Combat Battalion. They include personnel responsible for catering, supplies and ammunition, refuelling, mechanical repairs and non combat transport. Each Support Battalion uses and maintains 10 Tanker Trucks and 10 HMMWVs as well as 10 Large Trucks for transport of the Supply Battalions HQ and equipment.

Field Medical Units are equipped to set up mobile field hospitals or convert large buildings into forward casualty units. All staff except MedEvac Pilots and Guards are civilians either volunteers or bonded medical graduates. They are concerned with all areas of casualty care including long term care of wounded if MedEvac to a larger facility is unavailable. The core of each unit is the ten general surgical teams and 20 surgical specialists covering all areas of the specialty. Other staff include trauma and intensive care specialists, general physicians, nurses, dentists and optometrists. Each unit transports 10 state of the art operating suits and other equipment on 20 Large Trucks.

Each Field Medical Unit has a Squadron of 10 S-70M Silver Hawk MedEvac Helicopters attached. 100 of the Field Medical Unit's personnel are the air and ground crew for these aircraft.
