The Olania will launch from the wealthy resort and artistic town of Lyeithen. The Lyethen area is known for its Baroque architecture as compared to the rest of Aerion, and being surrounded by over 200 miles of the Royal Lyethen Wilderness Preserve with only one two lane road going in and one train. It is still very luxurious, with an imported old world charm by the higher class. Those who had already made prior reservations for the Olania's flight would probably be staying at the 5 star Royal Lyethen Hotel & Spa or the 4 star Cedar Mansion Hotel. The nearest regional airport was 100 miles away in the larger town of Adovaun, but could accomidate private jets, and had hourly flights to and from the international airport in Ornpereith if arriving by conventional passenger jet. One could also even be picked up by a helicopter in the large town of Adovaun, and be transported to Lyeithen. Luxury transportation vehicles were available at both locations, or if one preferred they could have boarded the train and came into Lyeithen.

As in traditional custom, a massive field will serve as the launching point, with an docking tube extended to Deck 5 from the tower in the Airship Docking Station on the side of the field.

The large bulk of the airship hovered over the air field just outside of Lyeithen, tethered to a tall tower from which an bridge extends across to the airship. The tower is large with two elevators for passengers to move up the tower, and cross the enclosed glass bridge into the airship.

Various crew wearing crisp white or blue uniforms milled about busily, preparing for the launch of the airship. They wore the uniforms of the crew of luxury steamships of times past with various designators. Many things were passing through a second tower on the other side of the field, and the airship. This tower appeared to have a cargo elevator, a lot of luggage was being taken through here.

The main lobby of the first tower was where guests could sign in, pass their luggage off to the crew, and proceed up the elevators to the glass walkway that proceeded onto the airship.

The Empress of Bostopia, Christine Boston (nee Palmer), checked her watch. The young woman was slightly disgruntled as the train made it's way to the Olania.

[Christine] We are like SO totally late.

[Boston] I'm fully aware of that. If we had took my 2-seater fighter jet like I suggested, we would have gotten here much quicker.

[Christine] Like yeah, cause I trust your driving, let alone your flying. They'd probably have shot us down anyway thinking we were an invasion or something.

[Boston] A one-plane invasion? Yes, that would work.

The Emperor rolled his eyes. To outsiders, the young couple would have seen as a most argumentative one, the marriage likely to crumble within years. But, on the inside, there was nought but strength and resolve.

[Boston] Anyway, I do believe we're here now, so let's act like a Royal Family, eh?

The arrival of the other important guests on the flight had brought quiet a bit of attention. Press was barely to be seen, because of press restrictions, and because some of the owners and executives of the mega corporations that owned the Aerionian media also vacationed in Lyeithen so did not allow their own reporters to disturb them there. Lyeithen was a very exclusive town, and so only the elite high society along with their domestic staff and the traditional local families that ran the local shops primarily frequented there. It was so elite that the top government officials of the country could sometimes be seen wandering down the streets with their families when they vacationed there. The traditional European style the town was built it, and the resort ambiance gave it all the more air of exclusivity. Traditional gas lamps lined the streets, and though very modern technology to the point of flat screens was there it was not immediately visible but cleverly disguised.

For those who arrived by train, the journey had already started truly luxurious on the Lyeithen Express, an five star luxury train that traveled from the provincial capital of Ornpereith, through the larger town of Adovaun, and through some of the most scenic areas of the Royal Lyethen Wilderness Preserve. No doubt one would see some gorgeous sites of the largest lake in the preserve, deep forest, stags, and all sorts of various animals perhaps even glimpsing the unique Aerionian White Wolf. The train had two fine dining restaurant cars, a club car that served as a bar and smoking lounge, an full domed glass two level lounge car, and very luxuriously appointed suites with double-beds, marble tile, and full bathrooms with tubs. Modern conveniences in the cabins on the train were as they are on the Olania cabins included dimmer lights, recessed plasma digital flatscreens behind wooden panels, integrated digital computers, music player with full library, climate control, and other luxury features. The train even had an spa car, and movie lounge. The train was designed in the old fashioned European style, with wood paneling, and had a very traditional sense. It was painted green, and white on the outside. Butlers were assigned to every four suites onboard the train, or for VIPs one butler was assigned.

As the Emperor and Empress arrived in, there had already been an red carpet laid out for them extending from an unique VIP side entrance and check-in in the large docking tower. Along this carpet various curious onlookers gazed politely, though as many were high society themselves they did not necessarily gawk or appear overly excitable. The Mayor of Lyeithen, Fred Astuff, a chubby little Eastern Aerionian man prone to dramatics, wore a large top hat, overcoat, and pants making him much appear as the stereotypical figuree politician sometimes drawn in communist propaganda or silly cartoons. Next to him stood another man wearing a more traditional suit, albeit with an tie with an unique interwoven flower design on a black shirt. Elegantly polished oxfords adorned his feet. This was Avemon Olsray, the Regional Governor. He stood as an mid-height African-Aerionian with a short cut professional fade. He gave a sense of stoic importance. For a Regional Governor of a largely rural region, the man as very sophisticated, and this was due in part to the fact this was a small region encompassing the wilderness preserve, and only a few other towns. The entire area had several estates of the wealthy scattered throughout.

Part of the Olania’s band that also did marching band stood nearby, and played the national anthem of Bostoia if appropriate. Other than that a butler, and a maid as well as some airship stewards stoodby having already prepared the Emperor and Empress’s room hopefully to specifications.

As the Emperor, and Empress approached the Mayor actually bowed then spoke first as it was his town, “Your Imperial Majesties. Welcome to Aerion, and to our humble town of Lyeithen.” He then introduced himself, “My name is Fred Astuff, and I am the Mayor here.” Humble was hardly the word for this luxury town and retreat of the rich but it was the wordage he used. He then gestured toward the Regional Governor, “This is the Governor of the region, Avemon Olsray. The Regional Governor, Avemon, bowed as well. “Your Majesties. The Royal Governor of the province sends his regrets he could not make it, but was at a meeting in the capital. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince sends his regards, and welcomes you to Aerion. He hopes your journey here will be..magnificent.”
