0615 – Helm of the MV (military vessel) Sparrow – 10 kilometers inbound Port of New Providence (capital city)
“This is MV Sparrow K221 to New Prov approach, requesting permission to enter the harbor” said the officer in charge, Commander Atradus.
“This is approach N-P-4 to K221, you are cleared for approach” crackled the voice over the radio “keep approach bearing 142 degrees, slow to 15 knots at harbor entrance. Welcome home to New Providence, today will be a sunny 95 degrees, out”
“Copy that N-P-4 approach, this is K221 out” said Atradus, putting down the plastic handle to the radio. He turned to one of his lieutenants, “Go inform the Commodore, we’ll be in port and he can disembark in an hour”
“Aye sir” said the young Lieutenant.

Despite a life of government service, Commodore William Hurt was uneasy about returning to New Providence. With its nuclear powered engines it could reach a top cursing speed of 95 Knots (109.4 MPH). It was equipped with long and short range guns, tactical missiles (NON nuclear) and two tactical fighter wings. It was from hear that Commodore Hurt had been running the government, until New Providence could be secured for his return.
But he was not at ease, for he knew many traitors still lurked in the shadows, which is why he kept is best men close, and knew well his enemies.
