Is there any way to execute certain people in my country? There are some people in my government that I disagree with so strongly I want them killed so they can no longer influence my country. For example, in one of my issues today, some guy wanted to burn all of the Harry Potter books because Harry summoned demons. I want him killed.

Role-play wise you could banish them to another country or like you said execute them. My country St Samuel would be willing to accept these people as political refugees.

As your citizens are represented mainly by a number on your nation page, you cannot actually kill them in-game, apart from issues that allow you to execute political dissidents and the like. However, you can roleplay executing them if you wish. (For more information on roleplaying, read the stickies on the top of the forum.)

We do not reccomend the use of a cruel and unusual punishment on anyone, especially if its just an opinion you don't like that has nothing to do with you, their nation, or their government. Sure, a nation can do it, but it will have you labeled as a corrupt dictatorship. The Incorporated States of Vestria also agree that execution would be excessive and immoral. We recommend that you exile them and allow them to seek amnesty in a nearby Nation with a bit more tolerance.

The only way to effectively deal with these types of people is execution! Let's say that you exile this man. He is still free to spread his cancerous ideas, thoughts and feelings throughout the community in which he is now living, promoting ant-governmental feelings and provoking possible rebellion! Does your nation really want this? I think not! Stuff your do-good human-rights hippy nonsense! Execution of these people is the only way!

The Cynical Dictatorship of Snafturi would reccomend you silently execute them. There's no reason for a trial. If there's no trial, there's no reason to make the execution public knowledge.

This way, your citizens can go on living their lives, free of any unneeded fear. It's really not right to make all citizens worry about every little thing that comes out of their mouth. The trouble makers are really a small part of your population.
