Our warmest of greetings to the nations of the world! I am the elected delegate of our tiny island nation of Freedominium, First Speaker Eulalia Haarvanisen, daughter of Mei-Lin Chang and Fjalar Hytchinsson. Our nation was founded upon the principles of civil liberty, democratic freedom, economic equality, and environmental harmony in 2052 by the Utopia Now! Foundation, an association of free-thinkers, philosophers, scientists, and environmentalists who were dissatisfied with the trend of mid-21st century politics. Our goal is to encourage the principles of nonviolence, environmental respect, tolerance, and political freedom all throughout the world, leading by example; we seek to abrogate peace and human rights through diplomacy, negotiation and compromise.
Dr. Kai Mwangi, the leading thinker for the Utopia Now! Foundation, held dear the belief that tolerance, diplomacy, and compassion would usher in a new age of peace and prosperity for humankind, and he initiated the Freedominium Initiative under this banner. After his untimely death due to leukemia, we continue his work in this optimistic and hopeful direction, and our goals are nothing less than world peace.
Let me declare our most cordial and sincerest of salutations to the world! We look forward to establishing good diplomatic relations with everyone! You will always have a friend in Freedominium!
