What is the NSMA?

The NSMA is a racing league designed to prove which nation has the best driver.

how does it work?

I will be using a simulator,that uses min and max numbers to determine how the race goes. after each race I will tally up the points and then at the end of the season whoever has the most ponts wins.

Rules

All cars will have the same aerodynamics.

Engines can be tweaked as long as they they are
1.Within the 300 Cubic CM limit
2.must have power no greater or less than 400hp
3 must be piston driven and fueled by a fossil fuel.

I'm in, but I have some questions...

1. Must the car be powered only by pistons? What about rotory motors (Mazda RX-7?)
2. You say the car can be tweaked...how far can this be taken
3. If we have an RP history of the driver in previous races, will that be taken into account?
4. can we have more than one driver?
5. Are real world vehicles acceptable?

Has to be a standard Piston engine.

Tweaking is for RP purposes mainly and dosen't effect the ratings as all cars will have 500hp.

The better the opening RP the better he will do overall

4. can we have more than one driver?

no,unless you fire one.

5. Are real world vehicles acceptable?

Yes,but all cars will have the same chassis and boday shape

The engine is the only defference.

Driver Background: Champion in domestic Dominion Prototype Series. Entered in all but one season of F1GP, NSGP successor series organized by the Macabees, Caesari, and Liverpool England, where he helped the team be a regular contender in the points standings, including making Twin Crescent Racing runner-up in F1GP season 2. Known to push cars to the envelope, but finessed enough to know when to pull back.
Engine Supplier: GMD (GEM Motorsports Division)
Engine Supplier Background: Engine supplier to Twin Crescent Racing during F1GP, regularly trades championships with Applied Engineering. Known for pushing engines to their limits. Skilled engineering department makes motors and parts well received throughout the Empire and in some extent throughout the world. Few mechanical problems during F1GP, lending to the reliability of their handywork - a 2.4 l engine that pushed well over 1100 bhp in race trim.

Engine Supplier Background: Relatively new engine designer but has had millions of dollars thrown at it by Sultan Mohammed ibn Al-Quuadi of Abu Omar. He has managed to create a team with some of the best engineers and designers from across the world.

Driver Background: Émerson Toledo started his career when he was 12 years old, participating in youth kart racing competitions in Cafundéu. After being successful for five years, he started to drive in Cafundéu Stock Car category. After two bad years, he suffered a serious accident and had to leave the races for one years. He returned and improved his abilities, and in the second year after his accident he became the champion of the category. After one more season in the Stock Car, he started to drive in the highest category of Cafundéu racing, the Globo Season. He won the title in his first year there, and now will represent Cafundéu. He is now 25 years old, is calm and very confident, and likes to talk with the press.

Engine Supplier Background: Velog is the biggest engine manufacturer of the country, and is one of the major automobile companies of the country. It has more than fifty years of tradition, and is the preferred brand of Cafundéu's population. Globo is a big company in the media sector, which will finance the car and the Velog engines. The car will have heavy sponsorship, mainly composed by Velog and Globo Multimedia.

Engine Supplier Background: (Will determine power and reliability stats) Supplies engines to the Lancaster Motor company. This is their first foray into racing but they believe their new racing engine to be a match with other racing engines.

Nation: Reasonablility
Driver Name: Jochim Wilhelm Schmidt
Driver Background: Thinks of himself as the next Michael Schumacher and his driving style is very similar. Raced in Formula 3000, later to become the GP2 circuit and he is a veteran of 4 racing seasons. Each season he has finished in the points higher than before. The 2006 season saw him with 3 race victories, 4 pole positions including the pole at Circuit de Monaco, Nurburgring, and Silverstone and finishing 5th in points for the drivers cup.
Engine Supplier: Renault Sport
Engine Supplier Background: This is the same basic design that is used with the GP2 race series.A V-8 4 litre, it produces in excess of 430 kW (580 hp) and is considered much more reliable with it detuned for the current race circuit. For racing, one cannot go through history without seeing the Renault moniker more than once. Reliability and performance has gone hand in had with the France-based motor giant. In 2005 and 2006 Renault Sport won both the FIA F1 Drivers and Constructors cup.
