Deathball is a simple game with one ball and four teams of three, the objective is to hold on to the ball for as long as possible.
RULES:
Passing to players on your team can only be done after holding the ball for 30 seconds. No "beating up" the other teams, term is debatable and is subject to the referees opinion. Other than those, there are no rules.
ARENA:
The area for the game to be played in, or the arena, has to be a circle of 50 meters in diameter. The arena is to be lined with walls of at least 10 feet, no lines on the floor.
GAME LENGTH:
A normal game should last 45 minutes but if none of the teams have reached 15 minutes of possesion (called the defining lead), it will continue on until the "Defining lead" has been reached.
POSITIONS:
The three players should be:
One RUNNER - This player is the only one allowed to pick up the ball, the runner is not allowed to start a grapple. (Usually a fast smaller person is chosen for this position)
One WRESTLER - Whilst other players are allowed to hold the ball, only the wrestler scores time while holding it. (Usually a large beefy person is chosen for this position)
One BLOCKER - This player portects the other two, they are not allowed to hold the ball for 30 seconds at most.
Countries can submit up to three teams, one for categories A,B and C.
